I'd keep in the bank for $100, why bother to invest in cryptocurrency?
A hundred dollars is quite a small amount and if it is to invest, it seems to me that it is worth to buy Ethereum, or EOS, or Waves for these hundred dollars. I would invest about $ 500 in different coins.

I would tell you to invest that money into some recent coin. Not one of the new ones that are filling the market right now with their scam coins but the coins that are still fairly new, they have not being in the market for a long time but they have been doing good and they have a lot of potential to do good. One of those coins that I would recommend is dogecoin.
Invest in Btc and you will lose nothing, it is the most reliable cryptocurrency wich will support you with money even if you don't have enough amount of money for the start.
While a hundred dollars might seem like little money to a lot, I think it is quite enough to make some reasonable investments in a coin, especially now that the prices of coins have greatly reduced. However, with an amount like this, I would like to advise that one should consider going for coins lesser than a dollar, or slightly above that range. Coins like XRP, and TRX.

This is a good coin in my opinion also though it has performed bad this year because:
1) It is 3rd coin based on market cap and price is about $0.3 at the moment. You will not find another coin in top 10 at that price.
2) For people who made loss with this coin in short term investment can still recover all their money in next 1-2 years. I may hold for 5+ years.
