If this guy thinks answering when several people have accusations against them shouldn't have to answer because of their level here is moderator then this is a broken system of hierarchy and should be re-evaluated to say the least.
That in my opinion LAUDA is not bullshit nor A WASTE OF TIME!

Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion and not waste your oh so precious time of probably taking those bitfinex funds on the side too. This is just speculation of course and will be moved to that section soon by a moderator. Roll Eyes

Goodbye, Z.
And how we can trust people like Lauda?
You must have missed the Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no thread.
You would fit right in.

That thread should of been locked by this forum long ago. So I would see that as wasting everybody's time not asking why for it has been brought to everybody's attention.
Going through that thread is next to impossible and just a waste of time in my point of view.
Having this thread clears up all the BULLSH*T that is hidden away from that one is like trying to swim through that wade of drivle like your answer staff.

Wow nice answer from staff. And how we can trust people like Lauda?Huh
Being nice has nothing to do with being trustworthy. The greedy people jumping on the giveaway bandwagon don't deserve anything better considering their unjustified demands.

You got money from this addy 1BfxSuxJqXuizBbTcP238JZY9DT4eqvzJG and this is probably TRADEFORTRESS addy.
That is potentially owned by TF, but there is no conclusive proof. I'm just one of the few people that was on IRC at the right time. Anyone who posted an address on time received Bitcoin. Honestly, I think that the giveaway is just trickery and will never happen. The coin that were sent to several people were likely intended to give the giveaway legitimacy.

And you are so rude wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was rude? Strange.

If this is true which I don't think it is. Then there will be alot of questions to answer from this moderator
It is true. The funds that were sent to everyone (several people) excluding myself were from another source, not the address advertised in the giveaway thread. Also, nobody has to answer anything to anyone. Stop posting bullshit and wasting time. The thread has been locked due to OP most likely being compromised.

I have not provided any evidence I am the bitfinex hacker. Please do not trust random people. Even if they throw around a thousand BTC.
There are scammers already and there will be more. I will NEVER ask you for money.

>I can explain my motive, basically preserving fugibility of bitcoin by mixing it. However for large volumes (5, 6 digits of btc) no conventional mixer will do that.

>If you send 1 BTC to 1000 people, that still won't account for the other 90 to 99% of your 5, 6 digits of BTC. Blockchain trackers will just ignore all of those small transactions.

>Now, everyone knows the heat will be on the 1000 BTC sent, because people will be presuming I've picked myself. which is why I'm not going to do that, and instead pick someone random.

I think people are actually starting to get the message now because there aren't a post per minute an more with btc addresses expecting to be entered into this scam.
He is even creating alt's of his name to continue convincing people to pay and I really think they will seeing it as dust micro payment. But after 121 payments and growing it could be a BTC by time they get the picture it is just a false promise of a lottery draw. And yes some of those payments could be just the scammer trying to lure in more people to make a payment since they see others are doing it so why them too. Roll Eyes

It could be possible also that he (rekcahxfb or who is in control of the forum account) is sending a lot f 0.001 btc tx just to convince more the people that the giveaway is legit.

Yes, indeed, I thought about it. But I am convinced some people are really sending him 0.001 btc (as it is a small sum, they think it is worth the risk)

People are greedy
How can someone sensible send money to an address beginning with "1FvCk" and believe he is going to win 1000 BTC?
When it's too good to be true...
121 scammed persons for now, and it is rapidly increasing

And I am not even talking about the morality of wanting to receive probably stolen money

Let's assume I was the one starting this ....call it whatever ..
scam giveaway etc etc

I would create a newbie account , I would send my coins there as a 'winner" (of course the btcs would still be in my wallet) but I would not stop there.

I would go and search for  an emigrant / homeless anyone who would do some pics/videos full of lies for a hundred $ , and then create proof on this board that he got his money and keep him posting s** on how nice is now that he got 1k btc  and that all this was for real.

And then .. start a new hype again with another 1k.

Actually I'm quite tempted to do it.
Probably I'll get disinherited once the cop start nosing around and that's way worse than 10k btc but still , this would be funny as hell.

Must send in 0.001btc from the address that you post on the thread. Roll Eyes
Sounds like a scam attempt to me.

1. Password change.

Do not trust. At minimum he should sign a message with previous address. And still I would question his intentions.
