not a bad strategy. but remember that ripple has different systems with the most coins. Ripple tend to be centralized and with it of course also this coin will be difficult to develop. Maybe replace with a more has great potential like NEO.

If I have 10k usd I wont invest on those 2 crypto that you mentioned , thus I will invest it in bitcoin or ethereum and hold for a long term because I know it can be profitable in the future .
I think that XRP is not a good choice right now. I think its stability is not ideal! If you want to invest more, I think ADA will be a better choice!
I agree with that. $10000 is a huge money and you can rather invest the amount on potential crypto like Bitcoin, ETH and Litecoin. They will give you much more than what you expect from the crypto you are talking about only if you hold them for the same time. If you want to invest on XRP then throw your fiat cash to dustbin or send the money any old age home mate. I think no one looking to invest their fund on the centralized threaten altcoin now. Waves there is no problem with it. You can invest at anytime. I think you may get double the money in next 3 months.
Then if possible invest you money on NEO coin. This coin is still low as I believe so invest on it. In this year end you can see the NEO price at 200 USD or even more value than that.

Rather than XRP, WAVES; you can invest in the top alts like Ethereum, Monero for long term investment.
Ethereum is the most promising long term investment right now. Since the market is at a low, it is the perfect opportunity to buy the alt. The coin has a market capital of $52 billion and has the potential to cross the $1500 mark by the end of 2018.
Monero is the best privacy coin out there. Due to its ring signature, it make transactions completely anonymous and hence keep the identity of the sender and receiver private. This makes the coin most used for making transactions. Increase in demand has led to increase in the coin's marker capital in a short period of time making it a great coin for long term investment.
$XRP and $WAVES is an excellent choice for long-term investment; if you look at other options than Ripple and Waves, then you should also consider $ADA (Cardano) and $XLM (Steller Lumens) these are also a better choice for long-term investment.
Only two of them? I think 10K is a good amount of money to diversify into even 10 altcoins. Some of these altcoins are selling at incredibly low price and can increase a thousand times in a short space. I suggest you look for some good alts in the top 100 to 200 with lower prices and diversify.
Yes, that would be 10 coins minimum but I advise to include bitcoin even at 30% max on his portfolio. I also suggest to pick 1 or 2 coins outside the top 200 as they have the best potential to a maximum profit though the risk is higher too.

That's right dude Waves are really good for long term, Xrp is a centralized blockchain and i don't really have the feeling that will explode on the market but i will buy xrp to ride the hype by the community. $5000 in XRP

$ 10,000 is a huge amount, we can spend high-potential coins like ethereum, neo, litecoin and bitcoin. we can choose some potentially coins and of course to get big profit.

Split your $10,000 investment into 10-15 parts and buy different coins and tokens. Don't rely on only 2 coins.

Put the fifty percent on ethereum, and spread the rest over ripple, neo, ada, ont, and a few other coins that you feel confident about, maybe that is the best way to increase your entire budget in four to ten months maybe. $5000 in XRP

Having a portfolio without bitcoin is like there's something inadequate. I wouldn't be the same with those people that has 100% altcoins on their stash.
At $ 10000 I think buying a BTC would be better than the other altcoins, at the end of the year my forecast would probably grow at $ 15,000. That was a big profit for his money. You may be attracted because you'll get tons of tokens because they were cheap unlike bitcoin. But for me, bitcoin is a safe haven for investing.
Are you sure with that bro? Because $10,000 capital is huge amount . Investing in 2 altcoins only is very risky because if the price decrease you will lose your capital. But if you have different altcoins in your wallet and once the price decrease you have support and that is other altcoin who the price not decrease. But it depends to you if you want to buy 2 altcoin only.
Ripple for a long term might be a good option after all, the problem is that they need to implement a lot of stuff in order to make the purpose of ripple come to the reality, that is why it might be difficult after all
I really like the waves. I hope they will grow in price. But this should come out positive news from the developers. But I wouldn't pay attention to XRP. I don't like them.
