I think he could be right... I mean if we go to $3000 with the next bubble, it may takes us only one more to achieve a $10k coin. I think that prediction may not be that off, after all!

Lol. How can you predict such a thing? Bubbles are not predictable. I think 10k will be a little longer than that if ever, but it's not impossible. Let's just keep spreading the word and see what happens.

$10k.. that's difficult. If we continue to rise, it may happen some time between 2015 and 2017. If Bitcoin isn't failing completely (which it still may do, keep that in mind!)... But I'm quite optimistic and plan on retiring then with my few BTC, haha Cheesy

Bitcoin is slowly getting to mass adoption IMO.
Apart from coffee, you can also get a nice dinner or a haircut with your bitcoin.

I believe we are have like 0.01% of adoption which isn't very great at the moment but the good thing is that we have a great price for a small amount of people using Bitcoin.

I think 10k is reasonable though everyone I talk to doesn't believe it. If bitcoin adoption really takes off with many big merchants accepting it 10k is doable I think.

A lot of new users are attracted by the hype and media frenzy about bitcoins. Once the price stabilizes, this hype will go away.

IMO, that kind of hype and crazy price movement are the big obstacles for mass adoption.

When the bitcoin price is stabilized, people will be willing to spend their bitcoin (instead of just holding it and waiting the price to go 1000x) and merchants will be willing to take bitcoin payments without a middleman like Bitpay or Coinbase (no need to worry about a 10% daily price drop).
