I am guessing by the end of 2016 (2 more years to go). No special reasons behind that, just my gut feeling.

No, not really. Trust me that Bitcoin is actually very secure otherwise, it would of been taken down long ago by bankers for one who have access/funds for a super computer.

The entire banking industry would be taken down by quantum computers if nothing is done. It's about as scary as y2k.

Bitcoin is still evolving, there are many coders at work and if a quantum computer will ever put at risk its integrity, they will fix the problem.

Quantum computers are not quite there yet, even the NSA doesn't have them yet.
Also agree with OP, there would simply be a new bitcoin protocol.

probably in 2020 will depend on the mass adoption
Just my wild guess, I predict the price to reach $1000 by the end of 2014, $3000-5000 in 2015, and $10000 2 to 3 years from now.

By the end of next year
That would depend on the trend of movement of BTC and it's speed. Due to it's nature it's quite hard to predict but with increased publicity and use of BTC I think it might reach that price someday but asking When is a little too much and would lead to predictions based on nothing.
