we are now are 31 hours and counting.  so guys and girls don't ever say we are lucky as lady luck gets very fickle.

35 hours and counting now.  I think it's time that we sacrifice a user to the bitcoin gods. Maybe the user that brought up the lucky streak would be a good start.

cannot get on bit minter from china without a VPN so I cannot see.   Has this been ended?   At this difficulty we should average a block every 10 hours.

35 hours   and counting.

that is why you never  mention good luck.  we have gone to 99.9 percent   and that would be 3 days  since our pool share is smaller.

back when we were a solid 9-10%  a 99 percent day was only 23 or 20 hours.   we would also average 6 -7 hocks a day.

Has anyone noticed our propensity to have good luck on the weekends?  It seems like weekends are performing way better than weekdays.  Any thoughts on why?

Maybe I will add something in the future. Having your own data listed at the bottom of the top50 list if you are not on it could be nice.

I suggested this waaay back and you said you liked the idea, surprised you haven't done it yet.

Yep, thanks for that. The TODO list is long. Seriously long. Tongue

There was an issue with the mining server from 03:05 UTC to 03:07 UTC (2 minutes). Apologies for the inconvenience. Everything is looking normal again now.

Yes, I noticed it too.

All of my miners failed over to my secondary pool for about 5 minutes. It looks like everything is returning to normal.

Something going on right now?  I see the pool speed almost cut in half...my miner is running, but not hashing to bitminter.   anyone else having issues?

Now I am back up to about half speed...weird.

I see 238,000 GHs (Koi) which is 238THs. Next is Fefox with 42THs. For some reason you are off by a factor of 1000.

Different countries use , and . differently, that's why many get confused about GH/s vs TH/s from the stats. At some point in the future I'll hopefully fix it so both ways of presenting the numbers are supported.

Is there an easy way to see where I stand compared to the other miners in the pool? I'm only running about 900GH/s, so there is no way I'll make the top 50.

Right now the total hashrate is 950 TH/s and there are 5174 users mining. So the average speed per user is 183 GH/s.

There is currently no way to know your ranking by hashrate among those 5174 people. Maybe I will add something in the future. Having your own data listed at the bottom of the top50 list if you are not on it could be nice.

If you have enough hashing power to show on the top list, you will. How much are you hashing with? If you only have two S1's then you are not even close to making the list. You're going to need a minimum of 2.8THs or another 12+ S1's.

Everyone has a chance to solve a block. But the guys with the most hash have better chances. It's simple odds.

Mining adds heat to your environment. Fans will not actually cool the ambient air. All they do is stir the air. To combat the heat generated by mining equipment you need to...
- exhaust the hot air outside by some means
- or chill the air with cooler air either from outside or with A/C
- undervolting/clocking can also reduce the heat generated by your mining equipment but it will also reduce your hashing power

the chart says the top miners have around  218.25 GH/s and could you explain how they do the rewards because with slushs pool I was getting about .002566 every 4 hours and with bitminter I have double the power but I'm only getting about half of the amount every 4 hours,  maybe I'm missing something?

*Thanks for the cooling advice

Where do you see 218GHs?! Lol.

Pool luck might explain your low payout plus the difficulty just went up another 11%.
