Hey guys,
I heard ahashpool and/or hash rafinery are best places to rent 1080ti hashing power, and supposedly they can give up to $4 per card daily,
that is way higher than other sources - are there any merit to this claim?

I'm currently on zcoin, and I ain't keen on experimenting too much, but if somebody has experience, pls do share.

Thanks

whats the round up for Q4 2017?

what does the 1080Ti do best currently?

Yeah, what is currently best to mine (something that is steady earner, not needing to change coin every day)?
I dont trus www.whatomine.com at all, those numbers are wrong...
Mine Zcoin now with which you will be earning $2.7/day/card. You will be saving money on electricity also as card will run on 55% TDP.

Zcash is the steadiest coin in my opinion. Largest market cap of equihash algo with lowest volatility.

If you are content with switching, you will make slightly more. Zcoin, lyra2v2 algo has same revenue but it uses 130W of power only. You'll need to upgrade your rigs to CUDA 9 for best performance. I like less heat and saving a few cents of power, so I'm at zcoin now.

How are you getting your 210W power reading? With a Kill-a-watt or similar?

I'd be surprised if it's not more like 250-300W for just the card with a 120% PL like you've shown

You have to lock the straps and voltage to get lower power consumption.

They aren't wrong. They're theoretical. They can't predict the future. So treat them as what they are: a good indication, at most.

everyday some of those numbers are way off, so yeah, you could say they are wrong.

I know they are theoretical and I get what it means, but Im talking about mistakes with current profitability, it used to favorize monero at one moment and some other non sense...

Assuming you optimize and get 200W per card with electricity costing you $0.12/kW that comes out to: 0.2kW*24h*30days*0.12c/kW = $17,28 in electricity costs for 1080Ti.

What you guys mining these days? I got 3 Zotac 1080ti amp extreme running bitcore now, got any better suggestion?

i been fighting a block of zcoin on zpool ;p been a while tho Sad
Was mining some of that there smartcash, got like 50k, time to hold and pray haha
Might mine some LBC, its nice and low price right now, could be good.
Sold a few 1080ti's i did, gonna stack for a 1070ti or two, and then Volta Cheesy

I'm excited to see how the 1070ti's mine, especially regarding sols/watt.. Know when volta is supposed to launch?

I think for march 2018 , and is a revolutionary! .

Early 2018 seems like the most likely release for Volta cards, despite some rumour-mongers suggesting a release late this year.
Why would they do that? There are no better cards then ti now and vega was a fail from amd+there are still ti cards that have warranty. There is no reason for nv to release volta since there is no competition and no one is forcing them
Maybe it's just their planned upgrade/release cycle. No point in delaying if they are ready (and can hit AMD with another meteor in the face)...

since when the warranty has anything to do with releasing a new card ? Next new model release wont be before march anyway, which has nothing to do with warranties.

A 1070 Ti in the next months is a possible. Why ? Because they can do it and people will buy them, simple as that.
