With today BTC price around 4K the best mining option is to turn off the rigs Wink

ZEL Network Hashrate creeping up and getting a little more than the online calculators.  Masternodes in 3 layers coming soon so prolly do that with my stash.  To each there own.

Oooopss peaking faster than a viagra induced 70 yr. old male.  Must slow down.

Mining with GPU is dead ?

I have one 1080TI left for gaming, but I even don't mine with it ^^

You can mine raven coin or ETH with it.

It looks so if you want to start. And it depends on your electricity costs. As for me - profit now is about x2-x3 from all my operating costs and it is not a bad. Of course it less then i want, but this is easy money now. You can try to get more by searching perspective coins or hodling for a long time, but it can bring you both good and bad profit. Its only your decision.

Try to read the whole answer. So, i dont now why you decided to speak about eth. And even without ethash(if you so like it) - it`s one of the most useless cards for mining. Classic 1070 gives you hash about 1070ti with all algo, but costs 1.5 times cheaper. Try to count, to read and to think before answering.
No, 1070 Ti doesn't cost 50% more and surely doesn't hash as much as plain 1070. I don't know where you get your numbers from, but the difference in Europe is around €20-50 (~10%) while the hashrate on most algorithms scales linearly with CUDA core count (~25%).
Do your research before speaking blindly, you are embarrassing yourself.
Yes, you are right, sorry. I haven`t lookde at prices several months. When i bought 1070ti, it worth about 150% from 1070 and now it`s about 10-15%  difference. But profit with green algos not really much pretty.
And now it`s more interesting to look at new cards, even with current miners they are interesting due power consumption.

to expensive for now, i prefer gtx 1070Ti less power consumsion but still power full for mining, since many coin show up its make me confuse choose coin for more profitable
The best ROI is 1060(3Gb) the most powerful - 1080ti, the most optimal - 1070. 1070ti and 1060(6Gb) never were the best choice for mining. Choose your own optimal option.
Nowdays is not the best time to buy new cards, profit is too small but there are many used GPU that cost nice.
Not everything revolves around Ethereum. In everything but Ethash 1070 Ti is the best all-round card for price/performance because on hash/price it costs as much as 1060 3GB while occupying only 1 slot.

If devs continue to be ahead of the curve and plan to fork when asics appear, people will stop buying them when they realize their asic will be a doorstop a few weeks after they buy it. The problem is the developers are NOT ahead of the curve, mostly because most developers are complete shit, producing shit coins, and just looking to sell off their coins and run off.

The thing is that the moment the ROI seems good, it's already too late! Wink

there are more and more coins mineable by ASIC. So be careful when buying GPU.
It is so funny! Actually be careful when buying ASIC. With GPU you will have chance to mine 2000+ coins by far.

You're missing a very important parameter though... Maybe on January you could mine 2000+ coins but now you can mine 200+ and while new ASICs are being made less coins are available to GPU miners. That results in more miners being squeezed in few coins, sends the difficulty to the sky and destroys the profit.

We're being pushed aside by the ASIC developers and GPU miners keep mining whatever coin gives them 0.01$ more, I believe this is harming us all because we could instead support ASIC-resistant coins.
I know that no algo is 100% ASIC-resistant, but if a dev team promises to keep changing to new, custom hashing algorithms when they spot ASICs in the network, then that's ASIC-resistance!

The only two coins I know that promise that are XDNA and Renesis. Renesis doesn't have a trading exchange yet so that's a high risk coin to support, but XDNA is traded in Cryptopia & CB and has already forked away from the first algo to protect GPU miners.
Bit coin interest has forked off too to progpow, also a bit risky , no real exchange yet

supposedly xmr is forking for a second time in october and a few others are too, its not all doom and gloom
