Add ~50w for all other parts (mobo, ram, ssd,fans) and your core tdp. If you're under 80%-85% of psu load it's okay. If you're above, your psu can act like little plane with it's fan and die quickly.

Ok if it draws around 300w , my other 2 cards are drawing around 270w I think ( 970 and 1060 ) this makes 570. maybe the remaining is enogh for cpu and others ?

if you only use this pc to mining .the power will be enought

Hello,

I have currently 1 x GTX970 and 1xGTX1060 , I have ordered a 1080ti evga.
I have a 750W power supply currently , do you think it will be enough when I add the 1080ti ?

Thanks

Don't think it's enough, one 1080ti runs at around 250W.
MSI gtx 1080 ti and others powerful version uses 300W!

It should go smoothly. Right now I have 2 Gigabyte Gaming X with 75% tdp  and power draw at wall is around 460-500w from whole PC (depending on algo and your CPU TDP )

Thanks for that answer as it helped me also!

On my gaming machine that is mining, I only have a 1000w psu but I was thinking about picking up a 3rd 1080ti and wondering if I can get by with this @ 70-80% power.  I could put it in my mining machine but didn't want to mix it in with 1060/1070s but seems like I could get away with it in my gaming machine.

Well Max power draw I saw somewhere was around 320w per 1080ti. So yeah, you will need at least 2000W to run system stable .

I plan to build rig for signatum using EVGA 1080Ti 3fan top cards (reasonable price in my county vs other cards), need advice with PSU.

If I will OC them, I need ~2 good x 1200 gold\platinum PSU for 6 cards, right?

what is the hastrate for 1080ti ? I'm thinking to get the new Sp mode , and is there a calculator for verge blake2s ?
and what pool do you recommend other than zpool

If you have a lot of GPU's and make hundreds of dollars a day from mining, sure buy it, otherwise it make no sense paying $200 for sp_mod.

well said. And this thread shouldn't be a long ad for that mod.

verge is good today

7GHASH = $4,41 / day
9GHASH = $5,67 / day
 Huh is that per card or per rig ?
which pool do you recommend for 1080ti and does your SP mod for blake2s work better ?

The rates are per card.

blake2s sp-mod #1 give you 10-15% more coins on the pool than the fastest opensource.

I was interested in buying sp mods, however paying for each algorithm separately is not a good pricing model. So I have decided to use open source options.

It's better to pick one and stick with it with larger farm.   Some people act like they know it all so they will attack me blind (tip! know the person personally and how they think before you go on trying to prove me wrong).  I have enough 1080ti to make ROI less than a day.

Depends on the timing, risk and the trade.   This is coming from a person don't usually buy software.  When I saw SIGT I gamble on it.  It was one day ROI of the 25-35 days before SIGT goes POS.  I can't say the same for others because I don't know there setup.

Little off topic but having issues with my 1080 ti rig, do any of y'all use Suprnova? I'm having some issues with them and I can't get into contact with anyone from support. Have sent several emails over the past week or two and have yet to receive anything back. Thank you

Guys i need some help with choosing for new 1080ti rig,which one is the best for mining?zotac amp extreme core pcie,msi lighting z,evga ftw3 or aorus extreme.Zotac is about 50$ cheaper then others and with 2 years warranty while others are with 3...Rest will be pro btc h81 g3260 4gb ram and evga g3 1200 psu and 120 gb ssd

The Aeorus warranty is 4 years if you register it online: http://www.gigabyte.us/Graphics-Card/GV-N108TAORUS-X-11GD#kf

Maybe if you have a couple of rigs all with same gpus have sense to invest in.
