@kaydenC wow 73-77, be prepared for RMAs haha ;p
No, but really, i cant imagine running cards for more than 6 months 24/7 at that temp, i dont do over 60, and thats just the "one hot card" that usually happens.
50° is my usual, makes for long life, is 7% hash really worth almost 30°? DAMN :/

I have 280x that are still running @ 80c after all those years (yes, 24/24, 7/7)

And if you take a look at the back of the box of some 1080Ti FE, it says they are built to run 24/24 7/7 @ 70c for ... 10 years (maybe 12 , I have the boxes somewhere). I doubt the fan would hold ten years but Im pretty sure the memory and the processor can last 10 years with proper cooling (aka replacing the blower after a few years).

Good but have you free electricity?

and your point is ?

Aynone else getting gpu usage spikes from 100% to 0% with latest ccminer 2.2? Also power usage fluctuating from zero to what ever I have set. Example 0% -> 70%

Is there a solution to fix this? Thanks for help guys  Tongue

I don't know, what i notice is a 1080ti founder edition is always stable, the gigabyte gaming OC has performance fluctuate. It goes from 40 to 52MH

What intensity? Lowering it seems better for stability in my case.

some people are still mining SIGT ?
Why not to mine the most profitable coin for the moment.

i may be idiot, but i dont care about day profit, for the moment , i dont pay electricity , and my 1080ti was free, so no ROI to think about. I just want to accumulate coins , i feel i am working and not a lazy guy  Grin Grin
I'm also waiting for my second 1080ti next week
So. Whats wrong with holding sigt? It has the same chances to go up as any other coin, or even better.

most coins dont have a single chance to go up. Do you see yourself using it (spending it) in the future ? If not, then dont accumulate them.

I am currently using 23 intensity but I have also tried 20,21,22. Same spikes from 100 -> 0 -> 100

Any clues how to get stable 100% usage? With skunk spmod I get stable 100% usage.

Which model you have?

With 1080ti founder edition i get 55/56MH on signatum with OC to 250MHz

With 1080ti gigabyte gaming i get about 50MH i can't overclock too much just 150MHz

I don't know why the gigabyte model i can't overclock more.

4 x  MSI GTX1080Ti Gaming X
2 x  Gigabyte Aorus GTX1080Ti

I have different setup for each card in MSI afterburner:
Powerlimit 82-84
Temp limit 70
GPU core :+120-150
Memory: -500
FAN: 80-85%

I use https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

Why the fan so high?

It's quite hot here, and my rig is in a room without air conditioner.

this way all my cards are under 60degrees

Also here, too hot.

Fan of mine around 50% 68 degrees
