I have 3x1080ti on nicehash.

When the Claymore's dual kicks in it only runs the primary GPU at around 2 thirds GPU speed, the other 2 are full speed.
DUAL MINING MODE ENABLED: ETHEREUM+PASCAL
ETH: GPU0 32.671 Mh/s, GPU1 31.671 Mh/s, GPU2 34.452 Mh/s
PASC: GPU0 326.711 Mh/s, GPU1 316.711 Mh/s, GPU2 344.520 Mh/s

The Mh/s isn't that far behind but GPU0 has faster GPU and Memory clocks so it should be ahead. When nicehash switches to other algorithms it runs full speed.

Any ideas?

PS. Churning between £5.50 and £7 a day today

Try googling for solutions to disable P2 mode. And do +100 core, +500 mem, 80% PL.

When running compute applications, P2 mode decreases clock and mem speeds, not really a problem for compute algos since it'll decrease due to power limit anyway. But for eth when mem clock is important, forcing P0 mode gives slightly better hash. About 36-37.

In my experience, teamviewer is unusable when dualmining however.

How low will our returns go? We've seen the mining market drop 50% a couple weeks ago, and then another 50% over the past week.

Other cards must be getting underwater in the power/profit calculation.

1080tis still floating in the positive range, but I hope we are nearing the bottom?

I'm making only 3,5 - 4 euros per day with my 1080 Ti.

2,5 weeks ago it was 7!!! Sad

Now market going down like crazy. So now the time to relax a bit and learn more other mining method. Dont stress out on roi. In fact supposed mining is at least half hobby mentality else will be very stress to look at the current pricing

Other mining method? - you mean actual Axe , manual labor? dirt and sand?  Grin

Like PoS probably haha
Maybe PoH  (huntercoin for example)
Crypto has MANY projects, maybe some folding even looks good right now Cheesy

Hey guys I just moved from the Rox 480s to 1080tis, what these settings I keep reading about, like running at 80% etc?

I bought the msi seahawk corsair hybrid coolers, so cards running at 51c at 100% power.

I'm very keen to optimise so tips would be welcome.
I think most users run cards between 60-90% power target so around 150w - 210w roughly for most 1080 Ti's.

As you will see the more power you run through your card the more hashing power it produces but it doesn't scale well to hashrate. I run all 4 of my 1080 Ti's @ 60% power target which is 150w. They hover around 52-55C and are nice and cool. Allows the fans to only ramp up to around 60% so its quieter and less heat it produced. Also uses a lot less electricity.

For example, Zcash I was running @ 120% power target (2100Mhz core) which is nearly 300w and I was getting around 780-790 Sol/s. I turned down the power target to 60% (1750Mhz) and was getting around 630 Sol/s. Half the power and only losing 150 Sol/s.

Perfect thanks!

Yea from what I can tell it's really hard to justify that extra wattage above 70% TDP unless you're real bullish on what you're mining.

It better pay off because you're gonna see a much higher electric bill

The biggest problem is the marketprice...

All coins seem to crash now. But don't worry, this has happened before. Prices will be back up again soon.

The current spreadcoin network is around 3000 AMD rx 580 cards mining with the opensource miner. If someone add 3000 cards and the price stays the same, the profit goes down to $7.5 a day. So then you can switch to nexus or cryptonite sp-mod to keep the $15 a day.

These coins are not so small, cannot be mined on multipools or nicehash so you don't need to share the profit with the newbies.

NEXUS MCAP $58 MUSD (58th biggest coin in the world)
Spreadcoin MCAP 12 MUSD
Cryptonite MCAP 10.2 MUSD

The market has taken a hit (5 days)

NEXUS MCAP $36.4 MUSD (67th biggest coin in the world)
Spreadcoin MCAP $7 MUSD
Cryptonite MCAP  $6,9  MUSD

Yea i came to the same conclusion after looking at the value fluctuations.
still it is better then any other coin after having a quick look on whattomine

I'm no Math major but by that math it's already at 0% - no where to go but up then lol unless ofcourse you start paying miners from out of pocket in that case, it'll be negative haha

It doesn't crash for me when I use teamviewer, try lowering intensity until you can safely login with teamviewer with zero crashes.
