Not to take away from your being scammed (if the chat logs are unmodified) but the terms of the deal should have been a huge red flag. No one can sanely offer to cover your downside but let you keep the upside, which also means he'd be a lot better off just making those trades himself.

I strongly doubt you'll find much intersection between the sets of people who make money from trading and make money from teach people to trade.

I'm trying to get some more people to see this thread, If anyone can help, it'd be highly appreciated. Smiley

I left him some feedback on his profile. It links to this thread, so maybe that will help him find it.

Please delete the undeserved feedback.

I don't think I left any undeserved feedback did I?

My feedback says:

Quote
Outstanding unanswered scam allegation. Appears to be selling trading advice with the promise of a full refund of fees plus losses if you don't recover the cost of the advice within a week, and then reneging on the deal,

Three questions:

Are OP's chat logs accurate?

Did you promise to refund fees plus losses in the event of a net loss?

Did you do as you promised?
Thankh you for understanding the situation, Dooglus.

Like I said, I have nothing to hide, I have been scammed, and I have proof.

I haven't even changed a word in the chat logs, which can be verified, I can make a video of the chat logs or let you or anyone else to check it out via Teamviewer.

MasterTrader, I'd love to ask, you mentioned you had 30 other clients subscribed to your trading advice membership on the 21st of September, is that true or is that a lie?

When it gets to a point of you acting like a kid, when you made the mistake by not following directions thats your loss.

That's right, I'm still online, and always will be online.

I have no reason to hide from you, block you, or cut off communications with you.

I'm not going to reimburse you for making a mistake that I didn't instruct you to make.

I told you I'd help you recover your losses for free.

Gave you 2 weeks or so of advice for free.

You started acting out, I told you I didn't have time for that.

I said you need to cool down, and let you have your time.

You seemed to come to your senses, and I began helping you again.

I told you about CLAM, helped you make some money on that call.

Kept you posted and all, and you began acting out again...

Then you hit me with the link to this thread you started and this is where we stand.

Starting taking things personal, staking me and my girlfriend, talking alot of crap I wont amuse.

In the end.

You weren't scammed, you know that.

Stop crying about a loss in the market, you win, you lose, its crypto.

Sorry boss, but I can't stand a cry baby.

Get your act together and I will take you under my wing again.

Until then,

Cheers

It's funny when you have to resort to name calling, notice I've not insulted you on this thread at all, I have made my points respectfully.

I don't need to sugar coat my arguments.

YOU are going to reimburse me for the 0.78BTC which I have paid you for the trading advice, AND for the 0.5BTC which I have lost in the process of your bad calls, minus the loss of the mistake trade which i made, considering that I sold that XMR at 0.018.
Which is fair, here is the proof that you have provided me with a guarantee.

[9/10/2016 5:21:53 PM] Wolfgang: Okay, before i send the .777, the terms of the trade is that if i dont make a total of .777 or more than that for the week, you will pay back the difference, so itll be all covered.
[9/10/2016 5:22:08 PM] Rich Trader: That's correct.
[9/10/2016 5:22:12 PM] Wolfgang: Ok
[9/10/2016 5:22:13 PM] Wolfgang: will send now
That's a written agreement.

If you think that 2 weeks of "Advice" has helped me any bit, in fact made matters worse as i lost even more money, then you've got the wrong person to fool.

We didn't agree to no free advice, no such thing as that.

You had a month and 10+ days to provide me with some good calls, the only ok call you've given me is CLAMS, was only a small rise and i didn't make much, since i followed your instructions, even then you didn't even bother providing instructions at what price you sell.

Oh I was scammed,  you're playing dirty. I understand you dont always, but we came to agreement that if it were to happen you'd re-compensate me.

Hey, I'm not crying, I'm trying to solve this issue, protecting my money, anyone would be doing the same thing as me, and showing people who they're investing in.

Firstly no one has a crystal ball.

If this guy is so great at making trading calls he would be a very rich man and would not need your funds, it is very easy to gamble with others money.

If he agreed to to refund your money then he should honour it but you not following his advice to the word is a bit of a get out clause.

There is no such thing as a risk free investment so if this guy is offering refunds if you make a loss he's as much of an idiot as you are for falling for this shit.

p.s. in your pm to me you state you are a student so you should have the intelligence to know better.

A harsh summary but all true

Agreed and the OP admitted he bought XMR by mistake so he was not following the instructions properly.

I was following his instructions, at that time he didn't give me instructions of not buying more..
So I did follow his instructions. He provided me with a guarantee that i will make my money back, and if i do not he will provide me with a refund, he provided me with bad calls which made me lose money, so I'm here to claim my money back.

Please don't make assumptions, you don't even know what happened.

Thankh you Smiley

You panic bought XMR at .0185 and I never told you to do such a thing.

I have all the screen shots of the conversation where he admitted that he didn't follow directions.

Its funny to me that after this guy admitted he didn't follow directions hes going to still cry about a loss.

The guy panic bought my 180's pump like an idiot, when I told him to be selling during the pump.

I haven't scammed you at all!

I have kept open communication with you, and respected you to the fullest extent.

You DIDN'T follow instructions.

You bought when I told you to SELL.

You just are so out of line starting a thread like this.

Its sort of funny to be honest.
All the XMR I have bought at 0.0185, I have sold back at around 0.0180s, when you have told me to sell them off.
It's very funny that you expect me to follow your instructions word by word when you have barely even given me trading advice for the 0.08 I have given you.
You cant expect me to ask you if i should buy at a specific price, and wait 1-3 hours for your response, when you are contradicting yourself by expecting me to have sold my CLAM when you haven't told me to sell..

You kept telling me to buy from 0.019 till further down, and I sold at the pump up to 0.0185, so i don't know what you're talking about.

[9/20/2016 10:42:29 PM] Wolfgang: Should I sell now?
[9/20/2016 10:42:36 PM] Rich Trader: You should have sold already
[9/20/2016 10:42:38 PM] Rich Trader: in the 190's
[9/20/2016 10:42:57 PM] Rich Trader: I just sold 185
[9/20/2016 10:46:17 PM] Wolfgang: Just closed my position
[9/20/2016 10:47:19 PM] Wolfgang: Glad I got away with a bit of profit Cheesy
[9/20/2016 10:47:28 PM] Wolfgang: Thanks
Raw chatlogs: http://pastebin.com/BbYwfgkc
So what if you've got screenshots of chats? That doesn't make you right, I have posted the WHOLE chat history, which anyone can check out, I am not hiding ANYTHING.

You've told me that we will sell at 0.02, you have made me buy XMR right at the PEAK of the correction, XMR is now at 0.01, It have lost 50% of the value.

We have agreed that you will provide me with a refund if it doesn't go well and I go on a loss due to your trading advice, you will provide me with a refund, so now PAY UP, doing this is respect, what you're doing now is wrong.

Word on your master trader coins is that you've also scammed your investors, so people, scammers will always be scammers.. This is your opportunity to prove the community and your investors, that you're the legitimate and respectful businessman that you say you are.

Thankh you.

Interesting reading. Looks to me like you were clearly scammed. He said he would refund the difference if you made a loss. So he doesn't just owe you the 0.777 that you paid but also the losses you made.

Does the other party have anything to say about this accusation? Refusing to refund because you made a trade that you weren't explicitly told to, while at the same time complaining that you didn't make the CLAM sell when you weren't explicitly told to is just priceless:

[9/30/2016 4:46:09 PM] Rich Trader: I'm not always at the computer.
Yes, that's right, I've been completely scammed..
We have not agreed that he wont have to provide a refund if i make a trade without letting him know, its an invalid argument. Reality is, even if i did not make that thread, it wouldn't have impacted the outcome, i would still be here with a open thread, he'd just have some other invalid excuse..
He's got a bit of double think going on, he was also pretending like he expected the dump, when he explicitly said otherwise previously..
I really hope we can solve this issue, im fucked if its not solved.. Can't just let this kind of money slide..

Thankh you for looking into this issue. Smiley

Yes, it was my mistake for paying for trading advice, but you can find some real gems sometimes... You're definitely right about the graphs, that mostly applies to low / medium cap coins though...
The main reason XMR fell in price is because Oasis Market exit scammed...
Thankh you for coming in Smiley
Yeah I was surprised oasis bailed honestly, I mean their rep and size has nothing compared to alphabay which still uses monero.  However all the news was generated by oasis market and a good portion of traders, and people didn't research that it was a lower tier market just that it had good feedback for the time it had been up.  (I didn't even know that honestly until I saw the price begin a decline from .023-.0215 and when I did it was like panic saleeee lol)
Also this may not make as much profit as you would like; but on the coins running between 40-200 sat if you buy for example .2 btc and up the price by a small amount (3-20 satoshi based on coin value) it usually gets met within the day and you scalp an easy 3-10% profit with minimal risk since its already a low valued coin --- do not do it with the 1-10 coins rare they move to where you can get profit off of them but when they do the rates are good.

and glad you got it sorted out with master hes a pretty good person.
Yeah.. Well, a correction was needed, what goes up must come down at some point..
Yes, I was thinking of buying into so low cap coins, i missed out on Gulden D: .. Still has some steam i think though..

We did not solve this issue, yet
, i just showed him the thread.. We'll have to see, i hope he honors our agreement..

A harsh summary but all true

Mastertrader does have a lot of capital; but I think he went too bullish on XMR following the assumption it would mimic btc after DNM addition - Fairly certain he bought a few hundred btc worth at .022 honestly and no one on polo has really seen him since and he did proclaim in the trollbox he would return at .0246 or something.  Which is more than possible to get to over the course of a year, but no one has strong hands on xmr at these prices.
(I bought 20 btc worth of xmr at 80k-90k level when everyone said I was stupid for doing so and then the price went up 2500% within the 2 month period -- even that huge surge had me sell out at 2200%)

@ op, realistically you shouldn't pay for trading advice; its even unrealistic to read graphs when trading crypto - its all based around community sentiment and can be influenced relatively easy.  So heres the best advice anyone can give you that will eventually prove to work - buy 1 btc in every coin, place the price for twice your purchase price and hold (don't buy already peaked/pumped coins *cough* c2 and pot)

Of course, I didnt expect the guy to be 100% right in every trade, but what i did expect is for him to honor our agreement.
We have agreed that he offers me a refund, if i go on a loss..
Honestly, it's not easy to convince me, like I said I've been talking to him for quite a while, and during that time he gave me some free calls, which were good, I don't doubt his legitimacy..
We've both lost money to the position, I was obliged to follow his lead.. It would only be fair if he refunds me, to which we've agreed to, but he doesn't want to..

Thankh you for having a look! Smiley
