i have been minig at ars but wanted to swiych over to abc, but when i changed my settings i get that the url is wrong, i use cgminer with these settings so what am i doing wrong? :/

Any reason you're using GUIMiner versus CGMINER? I was the happiest person in the world when I discovered CGMINER and swapped.

I do sort of miss Phoenix's slightly-higher (for me anyways) performance, but CGMINER's features are just stunning. I don't CARE if ABC goes down, since I know they'll all move over to someone else, intelligently Cheesy

I guess just for simplicity. Its easier for me to click a button than run a command line which I do with Ufasoft for my cpu mining. I also never had issues with deepbit so that was not a problem. I am willing to deal with a maybe 1% downtime overall for at least 5% greater payout. Maybe now that deepbit is no longer my main pool and I am very familiar with command based operations I will further explore cgminer.

Just came home from lunch and Im noticing I disconnected twice inside a 5 minute period. Are there any server issues right now or is this normal for this pool?

I havent seen any disconnects tonight and it seems like the server just ran out of work when I checked my console in GUIMiner. I have since set a fallback pool although since my hash rate hasnt dropped I dont know if its working. Thats a good thing.

Hi Guys,

I've been running this site http://www.btc-poolwatch.com/ which consolidates information from the JSON API of various pools. You will need to enter your API Key.

If you are using CGminer or have different rigs mining with different pools, this should be useful to help you monitor your miners across the pools and check when there's a fail over.

You can also access the site with your mobile, it will display a mobile friendly version.

I've just added ABCPool.co to the list of supported pools.

Please try it out and let me know (via PM or here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/btc-poolwatch-no-new-dev-for-now-10543 ) if there's any bugs.

Ah, now I understand what you mean! I think you may be confused about the meaning of the payout_history field. That is understandable, since there's no explanation of it anywhere. So what does it mean?

The payout_history field contains the total amount of all payouts done to you. It increases only after a payment is made, either manual or automatic payout. It is therefore normal behavior that payout_history is the same number for a long time. Want to see for yourself? Then try calling the API, the do a payout, and then call the API again. payout_history should have increased with the exact amount of the payout.

For this moment we have no plans to implement merged mining. We are continuously investigating all aspects of our pool to ensure that our miners get the highest profit for their effort. We are also investigating merged mining.

ABCPool.co is a real true PPS pool. That means that we take all the risk, and *our miners have no risk* at all. They just get a fixed amount per share!
