Hi pattim, this pool is based on two open source projects: NOMP for the stratum server and MPOS for the front end. Kano's pool is based on the open source ckpool project.
Other than the differences in the underlying software, both of our pools are PPLNS, both have an "N" value of 5 times the current network difficulty, etc. Neither of our pools mine empty blocks.
No, this pool is not part of p2pool.

It looks like a nice pool. Is this a "standard" ckminer pool? It looks to this newbie like a small version of Kano - with slightly different parameters - is that a fair statement? It's not p2p, correct?
