Unless he has an e-mail notification when he receives a PM, it is unlikely that he will be of any help to the OP, given that he has not been active since July 29, 2022.
I thought email notification for PMs is the default setting. It might work.

But OP hasn't been here this year, so it looks like he just wanted to get it off his chest Wink

Try contacting this guy:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/blockchainwallet-407333
He told me I can email him when support cases come up on Bitcointalk, but I've never done that.

In any case, the OP is stuck with very bad technical support, but he has a very good reason to be persistent, of course not in the way he has been doing it so far.

Sending 40 messages pisses off any underpaid customer support employee, so you're probably at the bottom of their pile.

I used Google Chrome, Mozilla, Opera, Edge... also VPN, socks etc...
I have sent them 40 support messages but no answer on 2 months !
What should i do? I don't have the secret private key recovery phrase... only email/ID and password.
I use yahoo.com mail
Yahoo mail is very bad, and this delay in receiving the message may be a problem related to Yahoo servers, so try all the browsers that you mentioned that you were using to log in, do not open an incognito window of the browsers, If you are using a VPN, you should carefully know which country of the countries you were using its IP, And you can take a look at your old inbox messages for the blockchain to know the correct IP, Contact customer service on all their social sites, and I hope you will find a response from them. Also, if you restore your account on the Blockchain, I advise you to change your email from Yahoo to Gmail and transfer your bitcoins to a hardware wallet.

Nope. Yahoo mail is almost same in terms of email speed to gmail since the text doesn’t requires too much data to transfer it. An hour delay for email to receive is obviously a problem by the blockchain.info email automated reply itself and not yahoo. I’m still using my old email address and I don’t encounter such problem when I use it to verify on my games account.

Blockchain.info support is so slow to response which is a clear indication that there’s a communication problem on there side including email verification.

Since you've logged in to most of the browsers then I think it's time for you to test and use their app and maybe that will change the result. I've just also read it somewhere years ago and tried that solution and it worked, hopefully it will work to you.
Did the app bypass the IP verification procedure? If it doesn't then I don't think it can solve OP's problem. OP can't log in because he uses a new IP, so the client he uses doesn't really matter afaik. CMIIW.
I'm not sure with that but based on my experienced, it did really solved my problem on this one.

It will work if OP is using the same IP address as before and previously logged in using that device,
otherwise Blockchain will detect it as new device and ask for log in verification, it's extremely easy to test that behavior actually if you have an account.

Users who reported that it worked must have a static IP or have had the same IP address when they previously logged in to the app.
I see.
I guess you two are correct with it, during that time when I'm able to solve my problem back then was probably I still have that the same IP so it managed to successfully logged in.
@OP, do you have any updates?

It is very frustrating when such a significant amount as 1.6BTC is closed on Blockchain.com, which undoubtedly makes one nervous. OP, you yourself are to blame for entrusting so many btc for storage in 2022. Now there are a lot of possibilities how to do it safely and in various ways, like hardware wallets. I don't understand why you don't value your money and nerves.

To solve your problem, I can advise you to try to log in from another device (perhaps even from another location) or from the same one, for example, using a USB stick with another OS, like Linux. Maybe that's how you can do it. And also, in parallel, knock on the support Blockchain.com, but they most likely will not advise anything new.

Blockchain wallet and coinbase wallet will take months to resolve or even to reply for a support ticket but st some point they will.

Did you tried using their app on smartphone? Or only trying via the browser. If not then try one another and don't keep sending the verification email in too short time frame, just wait for a while like 10 minutes before hitting again.

First of all, I am sorry, I know how much it will be frustrating when your hard earned money is stuck somewhere; it is really annoying but do not lose your faith on recovering.

It seems yahoo mail client could be the core reason which delays your mail to be delivered on time. (I read yahoo was about to abandon their email services but for some reasons they continue it till date).

So, you my try to configure your yahoo mail in gamil; this way you can receive yahoo mails in gamil account. Here is the step by step procedure to configure: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6304825

If this solves your problem of delayed receiving of mails from blockchain.com; I guess you will be able to reset your password and able to access your funds. Let's hope for the best to happen. Please share your experience after trying. Good luck!

Blockchain.com at it again with their poor support system, first and foremost is your internet speed above average to guarantee faster delivery because waiting for over 10minutes is absurd late alone hour's unacceptable!

What does internet speed have to do with this particular case? This is not about downloading hundreds of GB of data, but about the service in question, which obviously has a problem with the e-mail provider used by the OP. That service has always been bad in every way, and if anyone has any funds there, I suggest they pull them as soon as possible.

Is sweeping your coins off that wallet still an option as I remember doing something similar and btw using an explorer have your coins remained untouched just to be sure Smiley

That's a problematic wallet I stop using their wallet for a long time they have lots of bugs which is why I switch to another wallet.

Did you try to log in through mobile or their app instead of logging in through the browser? It should be easier to use the blockchain app than accessing the wallet through the browser.

Also, take note of their support they are super delayed to respond so I guess it would be better to wait for their reply if all suggestions above do not work.

I also sent them +10 DM on twitter...
That's really weird. Have you tried mentioning them in one of your tweets before you sent a DM? Maybe they never check DMs unless you ping them first. But if you don't have a ticket ID, I think it will be a bit difficult for them to follow up since they always ask for it. It's horrible customer support for sure. I also suggest checking the Reddit account posted above. They don't seem that active but they respond in a timely manner if there's a new thread about them.

Do you have any successful login authorization in the past and the related "Authorize log In" email?

Because you can try to ask your ISP to set the specified IP address in the email in order to skip Blockchain's login authorization process.
Of course, use the same browser that you've used in that session.

It appears they're not in friendly terms with yahoo email accounts.

What if I did not receive a verification email?

1. Wait 10 minutes. Do not resubmit during this time.
2. Check your spam folder.
3. If you use a @yahoo email account, consider signing up with a different email domain address.
@HrN: Leveraging the warning that they have against using yahoo email accounts, have you tried opening a ticket in their support platform in order to change your account e-mail address[2] to another provider (I recommend a Proton e-mail)? I find it really odd that they haven't responded to any of your support tickets in the past month, I guess you'll just have to keep pushing them?

On a second notice, they do have a reddit account[3] - u/blockchainwallet - and it seems that they watch the r/bitcoin sub for problems regarding their service. If you follow this[4] thread, the user got a very similar problem to yours and blockchain.com user account actually provided feedback - however I'm unsure if the user did get his/her problem fixed. Since it's already 6 months older, perhaps you could open a new thread over at r/bitcoin and see if someone also is having a similar problem than yours?

But perhaps you could still try whitelisting their domain in your email account? Further, when you submitted your support ticket, were you able to get an automated email indicating that they have received your ticket everytime? because if not, you may wanna resubmit with a non-yahoo email address.

Another thing, did you at some point used their mobile app?

Verify that you are using the same IP that you used when logging in to Blockchain.com.

I had a similar problem when I log in to the site with the VPN on, in this case it appears as if you are entering from another different site so you get an error message.

If you have VPN turned on when you log in, it should also stay on when you click on the email. And vice versa, if you turned off the VPN when logging in, it should also remain turned off when clicking on the email message.
