The guy's more than capable at programming he's made quite a sweet looking Eruptor Beagle board miner, but PCB and chip assembly is an unknown, plus anything remotely connected to BFL is considered extremely risky...
Too bad can't get some Bitfury chips in that.

We will also explore that option. We're not married to any single chip vendor, instead we just want to bring the nicest turn-key miners to market.

Very very interested, if anyone is still following this thread. I'd have to take the "roof" off my BeagleBone but that's a sacrifice I'd be more than happy to make.

Midpoint of your complete system estimate = $750 (let's go ahead and put chip cost in there, being liberal),
cost per GH between $40 and $50.
Might be a little pricey by October? If Avalon ships, the Klondike boards are quite less than that, no?

There will be great general interest around the product when it is available for purchase.
The comparison will be 375 bucks for a 2 chip BFL that is running 8 Gh/s. If you can do a 4 chip solution running 16 Gh/s for 500 bucks you will sell more than you can make. At 1000 bucks you wont sell any. (BFL will catch up with orders one day...)

I would love to see it. If you can get one working atm you could sell all day for 500 and quite a few at 1000. At 500 depending on timeline could be great. I wont blame you for BFL's faults. Personally would love thier chip to take off in devices.

And that's not what this community likes to spend money on - you guys prefer fancy renderings, vapor chips, and unrealistic delivery schedules.
Not this guy. Inform me of your milestones, release periodic updates, talk about anticipated risks, tell me about the issues when those risks materialize, succinctly articulate any schedule slips along with a brief explanation, and ultimately deliver the product. I don't need any fancy pictures, or unrealistic stakes on the ground, BFL-style drama, just some good old fashioned honest business talk and product. Reiterating I am interested in acquiring multiple 16 GHs units at your 1K price. I saw 900 somewhere on the thread. That's obviously good too. Make it happen. Best of luck. I will be waiting.
This. I have cash looking for a product that isn't just vapor - lots of cash. But no more pre-orders for me, period. Show me the Gh/s.

When you have something that is 100% functional and available to ship, I would consider it.
I would keep the price as low as possible. A lot of people will want to kick the tires before committing to any purchases.
