So many liars with these old stacked, Bitcoin address threads. I don’t know why people bother, I really don’t.
They probably think they’ll get the wallet.dat & send it to a recovery service in the tiny hope they can recover the passphrase. It’s not going to happen, stop embarrassing yourselves.

No such thing ever existed in cryptic space, if you somehow lost your recovery seed or private key there is no way you will get it back, and if anyone come into your DM as say they can help you get it back its probably another scamming attempt on you.

A website that sells wallet.dat have some ill intentions at hand, do not trust them that easily, they claim they are selling wallet.dat, that has Bitcoin in them, an asset that's over a 25k right now, why not take the Bitcoin for themselves?

The thing is, they are ready to sell you the wallet day in a .Rar or . Zip file extension format, guess what? They are infected with malware and trojans that will spy on you or probably tale over your PC without you knowing what you are up against, you will be robbed twice in a roll.

First, you paid for the wallet.dat, and secondly, they now have access to your PC.

I have that wallet here I bought it for fun just to see what it looked like, opened it in Notepad and it's "something" LOL,just all jibberish and I didn't go any further with as it's probably a fake anyway,it was cheap so I just bought it out of curiuosity and I didn't waste my time trying to load it up to bicoin core, thought it was interesting story here and could be true,19400 bitcoins when the wallet was made were $1000 dollars, almost $1000 to the penny that day,who knows,we will never know.I played with these wallets during covid lock up for something to do,ALL were fake when bought on the internet, there are no real ones out there, maybe there was years ago but not anymore.
Op went back to his country, and judging by no movement of that address, he probably arrived at the scene of someone jumping on the ex, and they probably fought and he probably died and took the password with him to the afterlife, well lets hope that he can spend the coins for some virgins in heaven, if they accept bitcoins there though.🤣  lol.
lol i'm still alive i'm surprised that a person or people can find my wallet in such a short time
now i just have to move the btc after i get the file and then i can turn the page and end this story

Someone is trying to lie here  Cheesy

Fortunately for us, every post is archived; This is what you said at first before editing the post

In 2014, Bitcoin's average price was $300-$400, sometime it even reached $700- $800

Let's say we consider the lower price $300, are you trying to say you sold the laptop at a flea market with (19,400 X 300) = $5,820,000 worth of BTC in it?

@Bitcoin Arena, you did a great job showing the OP's true face. He must have cheated many innocent people who dreamt of getting rich quickly. It's surprising how people can make up such stories to deceive those who don't know much about cryptocurrencies. We must educate those innocent people about such scams so that they can be protected from scammers like this.

past deception. this method often comes to my telegram, I always ignore it because to be honest I don't know how to look for it but my friend said it was just a trick, because no one will give btc for free
We shouldn't be move by mere tricks in the market, some are designed to deceived traders into giving out access of their accounts while some will make jokingly results of you. Unimaginably because bitcoin can't be free, not that large quantities. I would advised to leave anything that you don't understand and focused on a more legit way to make significant earnings from bitcoin, either through trading or investing to get more. You're 100% correct, no one will give you bitcoin for free, rather it's definitely you're going to work for it before you earn it, there's no free bitcoin elsewhere.
If those wallet files were real, they would have never sold them.

Every single case you see on the internet is either malware that is intended to steal your coins or is simply an empty wallet file manually modified to look like it contains keys to popular addresses with large balances.

If you would find it, it will be the hugest miracle
Hugest miracle is you breathing, do not underestimate the miracles around you. The OP is either dead or is trying to find the wallet, both are unlikely, he probably found a password from a hash and he thinks it's the password for that wallet.

If by any chance someone really lost that wallet, I am willing to help recovering it for 10% finders fee.😉

@wilsder
I do not enter the veracity of the story ...
but I ask myself, after all this time, without having any kind of back up, how do you remember exactly this address?
1PeizMg76Cf96nUQrYg8xuoZWLQozU5zGW
you have completely forgotten that you have bitcoins or make any back up and do you remember the address?
You may not have understood his words well.
He is currently looking for the owner of the wallet.dat account dated 2010. And if someone finds him there with the address given by him, he will reward him.and He have absolutely his 2010 account password. Due to which he can still use the old account.

if I look at the chronology of your writing, it looks like you have lost your wallet.dat file. what causes the wallet.dat file to not be with you? you lost your wallet.dat file in 2010 where maybe the price of bitcoin at that time was not worth it at all, because bitcoin was only worth in july 2010 at a price of $ 0.09. so that at that time you didn't really keep your wallet.dat file, because it wasn't valuable at all and now you just realized that bitcoin is very high in price.

is it possible that your laptop has been thrown away or maybe lost? now you are looking for it. but the value you offer is not only 1 bitcoin from what you have.
it is certain that those who have your wallet.dat file will not want to give other than the amount that should be given 50:50.
Hopefully what you are looking for can be given back with a fair portion of the prize, of course.
I had the same thing back in the day, it was with my old laptop that broke, but thankfully I didn't had much in it, it wasn't even bitcoin, it was litecoin and had like some faucet money in it so I am not worried about it, at max that's like maybe 1 litecoin that is gone, probably not as much.

But, I learned my lessons there, and got away cheap from it, if you are using your laptop or computer or whatever to do something like this, and store it there, then you need to back it up to somewhere, I do not know where you should do that but I know that you should do it for sure. This would allow people to have few places and if one goes, then the other still would work.

This, exactly this.

If you are foolish enough to believe in something like that then you are going to get hacked 100%. We will see you on this forum again, except you will be complaining about how you lost all your Bitcoins/Altcoins.

I really do not understand why people waste their time chasing uncatchable dreams. If something is too good to be true, then it most likely is.

Do not download any suspicious data, especially if it is promising you some sort of reward or similiar things.

That must be one he'll of an interesting sale of a laptop on a flea market. Such an entrepreneur you are @OP. I wonder exactly how much you must have sold the laptop for and what pressing need or irritation can result in conceiving such an irrational idea. Perhaps, the price was like Elon Musks buying of twitter... To say the least, OP, your claims points to the fact that, your some user that have been involved in crypto from 2010 (right from its genesis phase) and getting to sell your laptop containing over BTC19,400 in 2014 means, your over 3-4years experience in crypto and as such, should be fully aware of the value of this commodity.

Just how would it be that, you still went ahead to sell! That's in the event that we take your story seriously anyway! Lost and gone!

Good find! Hehe and besides who will sold his laptop on a flea market while he is holding huge amount of Bitcoin that time. He doesn’t need to sold anything if you have more than a million dollar on your crypto asset. And I doubt someone holding the .dat file of the wallet address will give it to him by just knowing he knew the password. It will just makes thing hard for the OP to get it because the value it contains is worth a fortune if someone manage to brute force the password.

good luck finding the password
