It's so hilarious that you praise Bitcoin but don't accept it. I will purchase later since I'm not using PayPal and I have to load my prepaid credit card first. If you come from U.S. then I want to give you the advice that credit cards are not that popular outside America. Though nowadays many people here in Europe use them, you can not compare the amount of users to the U.S. in my opinion. Most people I know use mainly prepaid credit cards and if they do then most likely for flights and hotels. Or I am completely wrong with all of this and I just don't know enough people. Maybe you should add some other payment options like paysafecard or Ukash?
Hi theuckel, thank you for your comment. I fully understand and appreciate your criticism. I have already explained my restrictions around using Bitcoin as a payment processor due to printing partner Spreadshirt earlier in this thread. My shop checkout is directly integrated with their payment system which is why I am having difficulty fulfilling this request. I am trying my very best to encourage Spreadshirt to implement Bitcoin, and will keep persevering. Not just for selfish reasons, but because I see getting a multi-national company like Spreadshirt to adopt Bitcoin as a huge win for the Bitcoin community. I included a quote from the CEO regarding Bitcoin at the start of this thread stating he doesn't see the demand for it, but is open if enough people request it.
Unfortunately Bitcoin Payment is not available at the moment but recently the Philip Rooke CEO of Spreadshirt stated
Quote
"In the past the Internet has proven that new practices are often met with much criticism and opposition. But my job is to be closer to the needs of our customers. One day we may see many customers asking to use Bitcoins, and then we will adapt our practices and find a way to implement that method of payment."I'm doing my best to convince Spreadshirt that there is a demand for Bitcoin as a payment method, so if you feel as strongly about this as I do. I will need your support. So instead of pointing fingers, let’s take action. Let’s join forces and please feel free to let them know. I encourage all viewers of this thread to contact customer services at
https://www.spreadshirt.com/contact-C1336 and graciously express your interest for them to add Bicoin payment functionality.
I have tried my best to be as transparent about this issue with you as possible. I have accommodated your design requests, but for Bitcoin payment I need and hope you will join me on my quest on encouraging Spreadshirt to implement this. If anyone knows any good e-petition sites, or has any good ideas of how we can achieve this. Please reply and share them below.
I do not know where you are located in the world but Spreadshirt pride themselves on being a multi-national company and I believe their presence in Europe is much larger than their American/Canadian counterparts. Worldwide shipping, quality products, accessibility, top printing techniques and price we're just some of the many reasons why I choose them to partner with.
So I agree with you theuckel. As I stated before
I know some will only want to support the Bitcoin eco-system which I fully understand and support. However if you take the approach to boycott every business that has not adopted Bitcoin you might get very hungry next time you do your weekly food shop. We should not isolate businesses, we need to do the very opposite and encourage companies to adopt Bitcoin. I'm passionate about Bitcoin and what it represents. I feel t shirts are the perfect form of free advertising to the public and businesses displaying how strong the community is.
Not only will you turn heads wearing my Bitcoin clothing, I'm sure you will get many thumbs up and nods of approval. If we can win the hearts and minds of the public the war is won. Strength in numbers right?... Now where have I heard that before....
I will reiterate again, Let’s not just highlight the problems, Let’s take action and be the solution.
