Joking aside, the best option for you would be to create a fast, honest, trustworthy altcoin trading company (exchange) and take the company public. Dont trade with USD so authorities cant touch you (you are not a money company, its just worthless coins right? well since they are not "regulated" they are not money).

I am talking etrade, tdameritrade quality site with fast transfers and tons of traffic. Spend 100k on marketing, 50k on fast servers and 50k on programmers.

Definitely don't invest in "ASICs people will move on from Scrypt to SHA-2 or SHA-3 (seen Vert?) just like they did with BTC. SHA-256 mining is pretty much worthless and abandoned except by those who are bagholders and never made their money back on their useless ASIC that dont do anything other than SHA-256 at a very very low rate.

Thanks me when you are 25 and a billionaire.

If you have 1M USD, I would not invest $200k in 1 place. That's 20% of your money in 1 place.
PM me for a diversified suggestion.

PM for what, the person said post your idea lol

Remember the gain litecoin ast year?  Wait 2 years and if it's still alive, buy the coin.

Coins that come to mind?  Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Peercoin. Wait a year and see if worldcoin and these other 2013 coins survives.

Buy 50K in NET it is about to halve its block in 29 days. You will certainly make a good 50% return and then you can sell and do other things. NET was not premined nor instamined. Has great community supporting it. Its not a flybynight MOON coin.

.5 BTC reward if anyone can post an investment avenue that will net me 100% in one year.

Where should I put my money to make the highest ROI?

Here are the things I'm currently considering:
  • Contracting out a company in India/Serbia to produce scrypt ASICS.
  • Helping out Alpa-Technologies by partnering up and expediting production.
  • Start a massive scrypt farm in a warehouse.
  • Investing with Butterfly Labs.
  • Investing everything back into NXT.
  • Starting a new crypto exchange offshore, relocating offshore as well.
  • Starting a high return crypto hedge fund. (I started my business at 16 with only 800 USD and here I am at 19 with 1 Million in total assets.)

Would anyone here take advantage of a crypto hedge fund?

Buy scrypt ASICs.

Don't know if you know but there are already scrypt acis out there, like this one http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/01/27/scrypt-mining-asics-spotted-in-the-wild-introducing-dualminer-usb-miner/ if you decide to build one buy parts directly from Chinese factories, that way you can save a lot, or even see if they would be willing to make it for you and attach your logo (would not recommend this because they would also make it available for rest for the same price or maybe a little higher)
Just to be clear there is no sure way to double your money without some risk. Wanted to ask you, have you heard of Forex trade, get yourself a good Forex agent and you can earn some serious cash.

Btw I don't know if this was you who sent me 0.05 or this other guy who owns me, if it was you thanks a lot for it.

In tears laughing my ass off at emule, I have a 300k sell order racked at .00001, buying a new nissan 370z  Cool. Keep on selling, the lucky guy that bought your 1 million will buy an island one day because of your stupidity.

$1 million in net worth and you are buying that crappy $30k car?

I know people who make $300-400 an hour that drive cheap cars. Some people just don't care about cars.

You know Buffet from Omaha? Smiley

I chose the 370z because Stillen makes a sweet supercharger package for it.

I tipped everyone in this thread that contributed, amounts commensurate with creativity/profit potential.

A total of .5 BTC has been sent out.

Don't let the name fool you. It's Proof of Stake is very rapid.

Worried about the beta-coefficient or similar metrics from large purchases? Worried about convexity, volume, and liquidity issues? Escrowed transactions can be made off-exchange if necessary.

I started my business at 16 with only 800 USD and here I am at 19 with 1 Million in total assets.
And yet here you are asking others for advice. Why would anyone who's so astute with their money do such a thing?

If you're telling the truth then you should know what to do already. Read. Learn. Invest as wisely as you think you can. Don't listen to the speculation of others; speculate for yourself. Any time anyone says they know a guaranteed return, be suspicious.

If you've got a decent GPU, get mining. Even if it's not the best, the process will help you understand. Without such an understanding you're liable to get caught up in pump and dump scams. If you don't have a decent GPU, invest at least a little of that $200K in some hardware; you may not see ROI for a while but what you'll learn about cryptocurrencies will be invaluable.

Read the bitcoin whitepaper. Read as many other competing coins' whitepapers as you can stomach. Decide how to invest based on your knowledge, not on the advice of others.

You might want to check out Vertcoin, new asic and multipool resistant coin, could be a haven for script miners to migrate to when script asics come out this year creating a more decentralised and secure network.  A good medium - long term option (1+ year).

Why don't you pay some competent web developers to build a decent exchange? It would come way under that budget, and be very profitable once its operational.

This is true, if you can also market it and prove to people it's good. Look at our current offerings. There's a big lack of trust, not to mention the fact that most of them are low quality as it is.
