The price seams to be going up currently, but still i expect to see a lot of flash crashes this year, all leading to the date of block halving, and
then the magic will happen once again, and we will see prices of over 500$ per coin for sure. All this p&d show is just to shake off weak hands.

The price rise from $380 to $450 is not a pump and the drop is not a dump. That is just reaction to the block size debate.

The halving effect should double the price. But the actual price rise depends on many other factors such as adoption.

There shouldn't be any real crash until the next pump ends. That should be somewhere late spring, as we will be close enough to the halving to have effect on the price action.
Until then, I don't expect the price to move too much, thus I don't expect the crash either.

Bitcoin will rise for sure, its fake dump so losers sell their coins for cheap and whales buy them before they pump it

I think there is no dump recently. The price fluctuate around $390 for some time. Today, the price is over $400. It is still normal.

I think bitcoin will actually rise, much like gold. Take a look at the gold price and the stock markets right now. Gold made a $50 jump in a day, when the markets plummeted! Interesting...

gold will always rise when stock markets crash, i am looking forward as to the what the bitcoin price will be seeing all the crash yesterday. i am still trying to understand the price variables ,what i am aware is that few groups hold the key to move the market up,which is not good for an investment.

When the prica drops, people are calling it a crash and when it goes up, it is a pump. People who are screaming this really don't know what they are talking about.

Probably most of them dont even have the bags to hold nor to sell.

I could careless what the price is as long as I have some bitcoin to earn and exchange it for fiat

It's pretty stable once the drop a few weeks back settled itself. Still up a lot from 6 months ago

I think the price will stay around $400 for some time. When we have the block size increase, the price will rise.

I agree there is a lot of trolling here. But the price will 'crash'  back to 300 dollars eventually.
I really got not doubt this will happen, therefore I sold most of my coins already.

Is this also a trolling. I think even if the price go below $300, it will be a very brief period. It will recover soon.

Bitcoin is just too volatile!

Too volatile for trading, or too volatile for holding?

Traders tend to complain when the price is range-bound or flat-lines. They like volatility, because they can buy the dips and short the peaks.

Holders - like me, though I do trade a little - tend to focus much more on the fundamentals, and, since they're in it for the medium- to long-term, they're not worried about volatility in the short-term.

And if its volatility does worry you, remember:

Quote
"I can't sleep," answered the nervous one.
"Why not?" asked the friend.
"I am carrying so much cotton that I can't sleep thinking about it. It is wearing me out.
What can I do?"
"Sell down to the sleeping point," answered the friend.
