The action of the last two weeks makes it clear that it won't be a boring year. It took a bit longer to warm up, but now we are getting the things moving, and moving quickly...
I thought 2016 would be a boring year for the bitcion and the price would rise slowly to $1000. Now the target is $2000.

The hype has started dying down, USD exchanges are dominated by Chinese onesinvestments are getting back to 2013 levels and the supposedly interesting bitcoin-related projects of 2015 didn't have a positive impact to adoption or the market.
no 2016 won't be boring year for bitcoins and actually it will be one of best years for bitcoins because of many things, steam accepts bitcoins now, openbazaar works to this day
and of course halving in July this year, price now is 600$ because many people want's to buy bitcoins and sell them after halving so i am sure that soon price will be larger than 1000$

after seeing the bitcoin price increases that occurred, I think this year will not be a boring year, it may be very many new people who will know bitcoin and make this year a year of bitcoin
2016 is a great year for Bitcoin, personally i realize in this year, a number of increasing the people who using the bitcoins and also bitcoin has progress in global society. One thing is a block event and that is Halving. Halving is coming after 4 years ago, and that is really good news for Bitcoins users.
as long as there is a high volatility it's always good for traders. The Bitcoin halving should bring tons of vola this year. It will be exciting!
so far i have not been disappointed with the amount of volatility. especially when the price got up from around $450 to now $550. plenty of good money making opportunities if you use your brains.

I think there is good thing happen in this year like steam accepting bitcoin, false accusation of satoshi nakamoto, and halving event but i can say this year is not boring year since their are soom good event happen maybe it can be reference for investor and business sector to accept bitcoin and maybe let see for this coming year 2017 maybe we can see some big explosion of bitcoin history.
Exactly, I haven't notice any drop in bitcoin related news this year.
And in my opinion even if there would be less news this year, halving on its own is enough to make this very interesting year.
Always is boring when price is stabilized. But after last few days we could saw how price can surprise us. Many of us expected some rise, but not such big rise.

As long as there is enough volatility in the market which will allow me as trader to make nice profits, the year for me is far from boring.
Profit is all that counts. Low profits is a bad/boring year, good profits a great year of course. That's how I look at it.

I do not think it will be a boring year, we got the halving in our eye sight and the fact is also that we have a good future a head with the fact that we are gaining more users every day.
I don't think this year is a boring year ,we all know that this year is a jumpstart because the rise of bitcoin block starts to go up as we don't expected as soon as this june and still waiting for the end at july ,but it is not the end because after that it can make other to be much interested and recognize bitcoin ,so it will also take some effect on the price till december.

The block halving is less than two months away from now. After that we'll still have like 5 months where the price can literally go into any direction. Without much that will happen, the price will most likely move within a certain range which I believe to be $500 with maybe a peak to $550 somewhere at the end of the year.
