We are halve way 2016 now and to be honest this year was pretty boring. The price was stable for a to long time and because of that many people decided to leave, that is why people keep talking about Bitcoin being dead.
Nah bitcoin will go to the moon from now on.
I think bitcoin will not reach to the moon so easily, it will need some time to reach there, as price rise is very slow but the good thing is its rising at a moment.
What price level do you consider to "the moon" as you are saying? For me personally "the moon" is reached when we touch $5000-$10000 but definitely not much below that.

What we need is a nice big dump followed by a nice big pump, like happened in last summer.
Or else it will go like this for months. 2 steps ahead, 1 step back. As long as its going ahead overal, it is not much of a problem yet it is sure boring.

Price will go higher in this year for sure, and it will be the better year in compare to the past so this year will bring some high hopes for its users.

Yeah this year is the best for bitcoin more events like block halving and more store are accepting bitcoin as payment also one of the good news steam are now accepting bitcoin as payment.. more adoption in bitcoin result it will be popular in the future..

The hype has started dying down, USD exchanges are dominated by Chinese onesinvestments are getting back to 2013 levels and the supposedly interesting bitcoin-related projects of 2015 didn't have a positive impact to adoption or the market.

As we're entering the second half of May, I think that the OP deserves an update. Anyone wanna help me find more evidence that 2016 has so far been boring for bitcoin? I think I'll be adding the Craig Wright/Satoshi stories, but need ideas about more.
Well since 2009 there was only speculation about Satoshi. The Craig Wright story itself makes 2016 more exciting then 2014 an 2015 combined, wouldn't you say?
Then now we got the halving and a price of 450 dollar, which is also very exciting?

Apart from the thin air, there is nothing to provide support for a rally. the last pump attempt in November 2015 ended as quickly as it started and we hardly touched $500.
Going to the ath, means a three fold increase from where we are now. do you really think it is realistic?

Just because it might be boring compared to the craziness of 2013 or 2014 doesn't mean that it won't be a bad year. The stability of the price actually makes it more attractive as currency and might make people adopt it more.
Also, it's much easier to get BTC now than it was 2 or 3 years ago. As long as this trend continues, it'll be a good year for Bitcoin.
