It looks good on first glance, with the buy price very close to market rate. I'll definitely consider this one, though like the rest, there are lots of bad reviews around... not sure if it's worth the risk.

Exactly. Maybe Xapo?
Thanks for the recommendation.  Do you have a Xapo card, and do you know how close their Bitcoin buy price is to the market rate?
I don't have Xapo Card, but I compared the exchange rates different cards and the exchange rate Xapo seemed to me better than others. And the service fees they also better. Compare please. What do you think about this?

Wirex offer a free virtual debit card at the moment, so you could sign up for that.

However, loading with Bitcoin currently has a 3% exchange rate penalty, so if that's no problem, it could be a good option.

Edit: I'd recommend avoiding Wirex - they're either incompetent or malevolent (see my later post on this thread).

I've been looking to get a Bitcoin debit card, and had decided to try Wirex, but after downloading the app and looking to add Bitcoin funds, prices they offer for Bitcoin appear to be around 3% worse than official BTC / Fiat exchange rate.
Is this 3% lower than market price offered for Bitcoin normal for Wirex? I wish they'd state that on their website if so.
Are there any cards that offer market rate for Bitcoin to Fiat conversion, and have a transparent fee structure?
Exactly. Maybe Xapo?

Need some advice

A debit card, not interested in the plastic , I only need it for small purchases on the internet (membership fees).
As I don't want to use it forever , more like a use and ditch it I 'm looking for something with low activation fees.

I have zero interest in atm fees anything like that.
And also I don't care about verification I have no problems with it.

But I don't want to pay 45$ to load 30$.

Hello! Can you advise any USD Bitcoin that have decent(blockchain rate) top up usd/bitcoin rate?
Why when you advise advcash, spectrocoin or coinsbank you do not write that their bitcoin rate is usually 3% lower then blockchain rate?
Thanks!

I'd go with Coinsbank but if you close your account it will cost you somethin like 200 usd Shocked

Would be nice to see Bitfenix debit card in the list. Contemplating between that and wirex at this moment.

bitstamp ones were discontinued quite soon after the release, no?

Alright thanks I am using the e-coin website so I am fine now... but still can't use the WireX app due to phone verification not sending the code (to a real phone number with Bell I've had for years), and the wirex website loads the green bar no more than %75 when trying to login.

Try to verify your phone number by login on app.wirexapp.com. And remember the website platform is still NOT AVAILABLE on that URL.

Hey, I am trying to register but the process has been so bad. First on desktop the Register button wouldn't work (the green bar stopped at about %75), then the email activation link didn't work (second did), now phone verification never sent me a text. Please look at my email to your support email and text me a verification code I want to use my virtual card tomorrow if I can signup by then.

Hello and Thanks for writing. I understand your confusion. Please let me explain: Due to rebranding process, The website platform it's still on the E-Coin Website. The URL on app.wirexapp.com is NOT AVAILABLE YET for login, and will only work for verifying your phone number.

Please go to www.e-coin.io and try register there. Once you do that, you can access to your Wirex account either on the E-Coin Website, or the Wirex Mobile App. Also, please remember if you request your FIRST VIRTUAL CARD on the Wirex Mobile app, it will be completely free.
