Projects are dead for one reason - there are many and few promising ones. For everything else, I will say that the blockchain is not so easy to destroy, and coins may disappear and appear and change. There are no prerequisites that even the top 20 coins will disappear.

The year of 2018 was difficult but not only for ethereum it was a difficult year for every single coin out there, even bitcoin got huge troubles trying to maintain its price and if that happened to the leader of the market then no coin had a chance to escape the crash but this year promises to be a little different so look for opportunities to make profits.

Just because ETH has lost so much value (85%-90%) we can declare them as "dead". It's just another obstacles that I'm sure it can overcome in the next couple of months or years.

It has regained and recovered to three digits again, a good sign that investors are willing to invest so I doubt ETH can simply go away. If you have bought it as $80 then you're already in the positive profits by now because it has peaked around $150 at the moment.

We must be able to see ethereum now in the crypto market, let their opinions drop ethereum. The value of ethereum in the market is quite good, and the holders still maintain it, and I still believe that ethereum still has better development. I don't want to listen to people who are panicking but I still survive because eth is indeed worth keeping from a coin that has no value.

He didn't know the most important thing about crypto is patience and during the price is dumpers is opportunity to buy coin for long term hold.

I think it is not only about price, but ICOs that not really good after it done, any problem like list on market or maybe take a long time to reach it's price again, but big main market already make it harder.

sometimes the dead are living longer than you think. for me, ethereum does not look dead and i am firmly convinced that this coin will continue to be used a lot. this will lead to the price also hopefully rising again sometime. but icos seem to be more damaged than ethereum itself. whether the ico market will recover is difficult to predict.

That is partially true. Many ICOs are biting the dust regularly, but the worthwhile ones with authentic MVP stand strong. Also it depends on the project. no it is not dead but is in a coma, if it dies then ico and etherum have not produced and have no price. now it might be falling dramatically and it's hard to go up so people call it dead. I am sure that ico scam will be reduced later if everything is normal again.

ICOs and Ethereum are dying. Yeah it's not dead because we can still buy it at mostly all exchanges. ETH has still market demands that are now increasing as the price had starting to crawl up. Is it now dead? Nope I don't think that ETH will just give-up that easily.

That's right and if I think ICO and ethereum will never die quickly because the thing that enliven the crypto world is the ICO project that provides free gifts to users

Even if the price will go even lower and the ico market and ethereum will not die. The fact that ethereum and ico already exist before the price from both of coins were going to the moon last year. It will stay in here forever.

Ethereum has its 2.0 coming out soon which is really big and there are still good crypto projects like EVOAI, which creates a better crypto market in general, in ICO phase. This one in particular is only in ICO phase because all crypto markets are at a low with respect to fiat.
