We can't really tell if 2018 is a good year for altcoins. Not all altcoins will perform well that's for sure. We can only hope for those top altcoins to continue performing on the top spot. But in general we can never tell if altcoins will perform good this year there are a lot details to look at and prove to the users that an altcoin is really performing. It also depends on the level of popularity of each coin. The more popular the coin is the more investors will invest in them making them successful.
Definitely. Bitcoin has 35% dominance on average now. While just a few month ago this number, if I'm not mistaken, was higher than 50%.
If the bitcoin's rate is stable now it does not mean that it is dead and it place will be occupied by other altcoins. I think we should to allow time for bitcoin to show its growth in a while
Maybe for the top 5 altcoin because of the rapidly increasing last year.

In every year, there is an increase in altcoins. The more people will be interested in the crypto, the stronger will grow alternative coins. But it seems to me that they are very dependent on fluctuations in the price of bitcoin.

Yes 2018 is good year for altcoin most of my portfolio was in huge loss now I am having 10 times profit tan investment compare to whole portfolio . Even crypto currency market is growing market cap increasing each day.
During the past several days, altcoins are not performing so well.

Alt coins are having a good market even before it was just that people are in focus of bitcoin since it's the one that appreciate much in the previous year but since this year alts fluctuates more than bitcoin does the interest of people and investors are now towards alts investment. Just in case bitcoin will start pumping again I think people will go back to bitcoin and set aside again those alts

This year gonna be the year of the altcoins with real life usage. In future without working product it´s gonna be hard for coins to pump. Now every coin can get pumped without any reason. Even coins with no active developers are getting pumped. So the best thing you can do is very good research on the coin you want to invest and hodl.
The beginning of 2018 is exactly good for altcoins. BTC doesn't make sharp movements up or down and it's a very good ground for the growth of other coins. I like it because I can earn good money by trading.
Yes, so many people around the world decided to invest in altcoins actually since Bitcoin's price is very high. And I think that 2018 will bring a good level of success to many altcoins especially Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin and other ones having the price going up fastly nowadays.
I do not think as most of you guys. it has been only 10 days in 2018, yes we are in an altcoin rally but this will end in some time. I guess this rally will finish just by the end of january considering previous increases. and then bitcoin will start rallying.
2017 was great for altcoins too. maybe all altcoins gained more increase than bitcoin in the year 2017, maybe it will be similar this year but it will be with cycles no doubt

Well i believe that so many altcoins will do very well this year particularly ethereum and some other once. The for ethereum Token transactions in recent time has led to the significant increase in value of ethereum in recent time and will continue to increase as long as its demand continue. So many people have invested their money in ICO and there are expected to has a gas in other for them to sell their token. Look at Ripple it is second on the marketcap
I agree from the last weeks of 2017 where alts starting to pump and continue up to this moment. It's like some alts like ethereum and ripple is in the moon and continuously hitting the market while bitcoin value remain unchanged. I think if bitcoin will be having a problem with its increasing demand then these alts can go over. I can also see many investors looking into alts as an additional investment in line with bitcoin
