I completely agree with you. Many Altcoin will rise in price several times, at least x2 will be. I will give an example: NEO Stratis Bancor Xrp Xem 
i hope so, we all just need to be positive about this and trust our chosen altcoins to play well this 2018, and of course we should play smart too.

It will, yes, and it's happening now. Whenever we see a surge of new money coming in, it is visible in bitcoin price first, then they start to diversify. 2018 will definitely be year of the alts, but could well see big bitcoin rise as well as we see more mainstream interest.
Why you expect this? With such extream rise of bitcoin (and Ethereum next) less and less people will invest in altcoins (especially huge amount), more and more will prefer just hold btc/eth and get easy profit.
This is valid only until Bitcoin is rapidly rising, but this cannot go on at this pace for long, and then you will have the wealth getting more homogenously distributed also among other altcoins.
