everyone thought this way towards the end of 2017 well most, and usually when that happens the opposite happens and boy did it happen lol
That was not a very accurate prediction, I should say... As everyones sees now - it's just the awful year for the alts, prices are close to zero.
The year is not over yet. I think that this year would not be so bad in the end of it. We still have some time to recover and grow. I believe that the year will finish well and will have a room for some profit.
The year 2018 turned out to be very difficult for the crypto currency. I think that this year we will not see strong growth. Most likely the market will be in decline or lateral movement.

Hope never dies and it is still time for Alts rise again second half of the year. Main condition for that the bearish market has to change into bullish. If BTC will have a bull run again likely. Alts will follow him.
Altcoins in 2018 should grow at a huge pace. I have great hopes for this. As for bitcoin, I do not know what will happen, it's too unpredictable.
If Bitcoin stays relatively stable, this year will not be an Altcoin exploding year in my opinion. But hope Bitcoin will revive soon, and that the Altseason will also come.
I hope 2018 are the good years of bitcoin not just for bitcoin but for any crypto market, but right now bitcoin are suffer to much and there is so many bad news for bitcoin and thats just make bitcoin stuck and even falling downstream in the market.
If something like that will happen I am ready for this because I have already 100 of different tokens on my wallet hopefully all of the will go up in terms of there price and market capitalisation also.
Probably at the end of 2018 we'll see altcoin explode and it makes good news for everyone because everyone would be so happy when altcoin prices are going to be and of course it's a really good moment.

Agree that this year is exploding of altcoins but you need to really choose the best so that you will not regret in the end. There are many coins and everyone earning on that. They will save some coins for their future.
Yeah, it can be seen that the exploding altcoins are developed in 2018. There are so many ICOs that offer the tokens or coins with the different concpet. It makes also the changes of the price exactly. However, for now, it is a good development of crypto. For some coins as you said. they may be more promising to go in the next year.

I've followed many a project!and I see great progress and growth marker!I think that 2018 will be very prospects and favorable!!!! 
By the end of the year , there may be an increase in altcoins. I can't deny that . The potential is very high, the demand is also growing .
I also like hold some of these smaller coins. Like Substratum. but we should not forget, that these bigger potential growth always comes with a higher risk of total failure.
Absolutely, there are always great projects, showing crazy growings, even 100X. But that is not the typical, and you need a great knowledge, or / and luck to find one.
The smaller the coin, the more risky to hold. But with more potential gain. So yes, we can have great earnings with these cheap coins, but it is not that simple to pick the best, as it seems to be
