I'm not too sure about Doge coin, I think the new year won't really affect doge coin prices, I think it's very strange to measure the value of an altcoin just because the new year, Doge has to innovate and cooperate with other companies, I think Doge must imitate Ripple and Stellar Lumens.

I like doge however very little on the grounds that the supply is boundless and I don't perceive any eventual fate of it despite the fact that the coin existed numerous years as of now.
You should seriously think carefully if you really want to invest in DOGE. Everyone knew the start point of DOGE even with a short pump or positive news, it won't go any farther than that.
I would advise to stay away from DOGE. It is a classic and has its rightful place in crypto history, however I think with all the new opportunities and advancements that have been made that DOGE coins best days are behind it.

The coin was created in December 2013 and it currently occupies the 43th position in the list of cryptocurrencies based on market cap. .Despite its recent gains, Dogecoin cannot currently be categorized as one of the best performers of 2017.So i think it would be better not to buy doge.

If you are going to buy dogecoin, only relying on year of dog, then investing is not yours thing.

The doggy coin seems to be growing steady,i find this post funny when the fengshui people will surely will hurt to this shitcoin,but yes i will buying doge just for fun it is 300% up right now.

Not a believer but maybe if you are planning to hold , but why not look and invest to much more promising coin? Alt coin is bullish right now as bitcoin stabalizes and playing around 14 - 17k , research and participate to different ICO that you find promising.
In 2018 I think that DOGE will rise substantially judging from its recent performance it may indeed be the year of the DOGE, I suggest you invest in it.
