Is it serious? I know we need adoption and for that to happen we have to bring more people to the crypto world, but there take advantage of the misfortunes that happen to divulge bitcoin, it becomes something kind of without ethics. This is what many politicians do. I also do not think this will be of great help in the disclosure of bitcoin

and this is an excellent opportunity for him to show that he's using his connections for a good cause.
I wonder what the average banlieue resident feels about it, let alone French countryside dweller who'd rather see the whole of Paris carpet bombed. At least it looks like it's posing money rather than government money that's going to pay for it.
If the British equivalent burnt down I wouldn't give the slightest shit and would not be impressed if tax money was poured into it while our grannies are on the streets sucking off truck drivers for food.

They don't care about real problems. All they care is about awareness - their name is now again on all newspapers - and probably about their own competition with their own rules.
In case of Binance for sure. It's the ideal way for them to get some mainstream media exposure while this is being covered throughout the whole world.
CZ definitely knows how to market Binance in the best possible way, which also applies to how they used the anti CSW sentiment to gain goodwill from the community, and that's something they definitely needed after all the IEO's that a lot of people lost a lot of money with.
If this continues, the donations will soon surpass the $1 billion mark. Another thing that massively contributed is how the French president is very close with the super elite there, and this is an excellent opportunity for him to show that he's using his connections for a good cause.

We have to look at what incentives Binance will get from sponsoring or helping restore Notre Dame. Right, they are doing it so that they could be in the headlines of a major newspaper. Good marketing ploy? Yeah, so let's see how crypto enthusiast will react to this. CZ is really pushing the boundaries, as per article:

I don't get why a string of billionaires are laying out for this when they could be solving some real problems.
They don't care about real problems. All they care is about awareness - their name is now again on all newspapers - and probably about their own competition with their own rules.
