Would I like to see Wiggins win a Finals MVP award?  Hell yes.  Does he deserve it over Steph?  No.
And I truly agree with that. I took the bet before the start of the Finals, it's also because of the fact that betting for Curry was not profitable at that time, (I think even now). So choosing another player that may have a chance next to him is Wiggins with x29.90. It's all about the money first.  Grin
I can actually pull out my bet and claim a 1.2 profit but I think I will let it stay and see it through until the end of the series.
He had been consistent so I am having high hopes he can get it. They should win the game first.
I think it depends on the outcome of the succeeding games.

here's the scenario, if this series will reach 7 games and Wiggins will be the top scorer in the next 2 games, I think Wiggins will get the reward. however, there's always a risk because Curry will not likely have a bad 3 straight games.

But we will have to see, the Warriors has gain the momentum already with back to back win and they are a good road team too so I wouldn't be surprised if they win a tough game 6 in the road will balloons going down.

I would love that. Yellow balloons flying in the Garden. I want to see how both Marcus Smart and Grant Williams faces and their reactions. They have too much green blood and pride in their veins.

Anyways. I expect Stephen Curry to bounce back after that low 16 point performance in game 5. Also Jayson Tatum after recording the highest total turnover is under pressure and he might play very well in game 6. This is just like a toss up game for me with GSW's momentum and the Celtics playing at home. But i'll be taking that +3.5 on GSW.

Nope, I won't be talking that +3.5, instead I will go with ML and probably Warriors winning by 6+. Most of the Warriors wins are 10+ points, so there's a chance that they will win and the odds is good for them.
I'm still undecided, but if we look at the numbers, both of the teams winning are over 10 points and we haven't seen a game that is close and decided by 1-3 points.

But then again, Boston hasn't lost twice in a row, but it that trend was broken last game. So maybe the numbers are going to be stack against and the game might be closer than we think.

Advantage is on the side of GSW so those flying yellow balloons is totally ready to drop as they already dictate the phase of this finals series.

Also for sure Curry already settled up and do more better performance on game 6 because his past performance is totally not good so for sure he will strive to go back on his feet since there's one trophy he need to get to get more achievements and sealed up his legacy.

I also want to see the Game 7 man. This final series shouldn't end up by a 4-2 win for Golden State Warriors. I believe Boston Celtics deserved as much as them to reach the championship. Their last time as the champions was in the 2007-2008 season. They haven't been the champions for thirteen seasons and it is going to fourteen if they lose this series. I think it must be time for them to make it. But this is going to be really hard for them as they will need to win two times in a row.

Right, who wouldn't want to see a old fashion game 7? And then Celtics is the favorite n game 6 at Boston Garden? Perhaps this could be the first time that we are going to see a team with 3 game 7 and all of them are in their favor. But we will have to see, the Warriors has gain the momentum already with back to back win and they are a good road team too so I wouldn't be surprised if they win a tough game 6 in the road will balloons going down.

If you are not gambling, then most likely you would want to see a game 7 as it's more entertaining, however, if you are betting on the Warriors to win the series, then for sure, you would want to see the NBA Finals ot be over in game 6. I believe that Celtics are good, but I think the pressure is on them now, and knowing how the Warriors are playing, they can win on the road to earn another championship.

Seriously, guys, I wanted to see game 7 between these two teams because so far they've been battling strong with each other. We don't see games like this more often in the future, whether you swift your opponent or you are the ones who get swift, that's just how the last NBA finals were but this time it is different they kept winning on each other and it is really good to see if the Boston Celtics will force game 7 to make it like the game of their life and whoever wins that game will be one of the legendary NBA players in the future.

I think the result of last night's game showed the champion.
Unfortunately for Boston Celtics the game is ended. It is very difficult for them to get back.
I support Boston Celtics in the finals, but unfortunately  I have to be realistic.
Boston is gonna have to win game 6 at home, but I also feel like the Warriors won the series with the win last night.

Maybe yes, but my guess is this will be the last game. Golden State will win this match and they will be champions.

Well GSW needs to close out this game in the road. But looking at the odds, its the Celtics that are highly favored. So this game is going wire to wire I believed, so it's not going to be very easy for either side and it might boils down to heart, as to which wanted it more.

Stephen Curry will be the mvp of the finals.(My opinion) Curry has a great contribution to the team, we saw that in Game 4.
The other players are playing very well, but Curry is different.

Yes, most likely he will be the MVP, his game 4 performance is one for the ages. Although he didn't have good numbers last game, but still he was able to contribute. But it was Wiggins and Thompson who did the most damage.

There are rumors that win or lose Curry will win the MVP if continues to play great for the remainder of the series.
An MVP coming from a lossing team happened only once in the NBA history.

Could Steph Curry sets another milestone of his career or take it all win the championship and the MVP this year?

When you have the trio that won the most finals games together in the history of NBA, you know that you are in big trouble. I mean not even Fischer-Kobe-Shaq trio won as many Finals games as Klay-Curry-Draymond trio did, and that hsould tell you something about it. At the end of the day Celtics stars Tatum and Brown are young, Smart is becoming a very crucial part of that team, and we can see them play a lot more and a lot better in the future. I can't guarantee any success, but they will never be bad as long as these three are healthy, they will always contend for the title for the foreseeable future.
Can't deny the fact that the Celtics also got those key players that they've got plus Horford to be said one of the experienced as part of their key players.

But against to the trio of Warriors that has brought them to many championships, well, I'd say that whenever these trio plus KD before really did well. Now that it's only them, they're able to make a great team on their roster.

And whenever someone's shooting isn't on great shape, they've got the bench players to catch and fill the gaps that they should be filling in.

Wiggins as a perfect replacement for KD, he's showing that eagerness to win and provide stats that the trio need.

From the first round up to now, Wiggins really stepping up both in defense and offense, a good addition to the rotations that give the splash

Bros the help, and in terms of defense, this guy also gives a tough day to whoever stars that being assigned to him. He has the speed and

the height that can play tough defense.

There is a little time left for the Game 5 to begin. The winner will have a big advantage for the championship obviously, yeah. It is really difficult to predict the winner of this game now. Warriors seemed better in the previous game but we will see if they will succeed in being consistent. Celtics will have to defend tighter to cause them to make mistakes otherwise it seems too difficult for them to stop especially Curry. If they even don't manage to stop him they should at least improve their successful shot percentage.
Niether box-one or tight man-to-man def for Curry as long he wont really be making out some good position on shooting 3's then they might have the chance.
When Curry starts to heat up then its really hard for him to be stopped. 2 point made will easily be just be patched or catched up if 3 would be successive
so there's no point on weakening their defense.

Warriors wont be dumb on not to counter possible isolation for Curry and to mind off that there's still Thompson and Poole which could also
shoot 3's on any angles.

Box and one for Curry will never work they will shred that with other outside shooters, and if they play 2 high on him they will eat up the Celtics with cutting through the paint.  I'd just let Curry get his and try to lock down Poole and klay to be honest.  Curry will get his so I wouldn't waste effort allowing the whole team to join in.  Male theor 4th and 5th options have to have a big game.

The result of this game seemed interesting to me actually. Stephen Curry didn't have a good game at all as he missed all of his nine three-pointer attempts. Thompson was there to do a good job and I liked especially Wiggins' performance though. His nice double-double made an important contribution to this win. Warriors have a very serious advantage in their hands now and Celtics have no choice other than winning next time. I think they will do this too and we will see the Game 7.

Of course that is not the case at all times, Warriors knows it very well, they lost from 3-1 up.

And adding to that, the Golden State Warriors surely understand the importance of winning the game tonight. There should be no room for any mistakes and every possession should be managed properly at all costs until the last buzzer sounds. Game 5 is somehow considered the deciding factor or turning point of the series.

Boston Celtics will do everything, as always, to take this game tonight for a chance to have that getting Larry O' Brien championship trophy at the TD Garden. It's been a while since the last championship takes place there. That's why I see them tonight as aggressive as they will be and will unleash their very best that looks like it's always their last game.

While on the Warriors, losing is not an option. It's a must-win for the Warriors or else, a big problem is waiting for them in Game 6 in front of the Celtics crowd.
Unfortunately, even though the Boston Celtics had mobilized all their strength, all their efforts were in vain because they lost by a fairly long distance score, the warriors were indeed very difficult to beat because they had a good playing strategy. So that from this match the Warriors finally won.

Not just a good playing strategy but they literally live in the Finals from the last 8 years, just skipped 2 playoffs because they got terrible injuries.
If the Celtics were a more mature team in the finals (which they obviously not because they have 0 experience in the finals) they could be in the winning position by now. That game 4 was the turning point for the Warriors.
I'm afraid this series will be finished in game 6.
Lack of experience is really significant and you can see  the differences and thats what make Warriors is ahead on some point which made them win this recent game but just like on others been saying that
we shouldnt really be that too confident because there's not much huge gap considering that Celtics do able to score out 2 games and Warriors only lead by 1. If ever they would able to tie it
on next game then Game 7 will be the most interesting part whether there's some new history would be made or would really be an another ring for Warriors.

In crucial moment experience really matter since the pressure is so huge in that moment that's why Warriors is ahead on them in that sequences, But we can't deny that Celtics still give a best fight because even if Warriors is almost dominating all of their game still they manage to have good runs and showing that they can defeat Warriors if they are just consistent in every quarter. If they lost this season maybe next they should facilitate more their gameplay and also for sure in next time around they became more better team.

I guess if ever the Celtics is going to lose to the Warriors, there's nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, they could hardened everyone, including the coaching staff. In this season, it was the Bucks (defending champs) and the Nets who are the favored to enter the finals and win. But after the all star break, Celtics enjoyed one of their best runs and now they are in the finals.

Boston Celtics are not even predicted to enter the NBA Finals by the majority but they did. These guys are professional and if they will lose the Finals, they won't feel be ashamed but rather disappointed as entering the NBA Finals is a difficult task to do and they need to work hard and smart from the scratch.

The team is composed of future NBA Superstars in the making. They just need to don't stop targeting the Championship every season. Anyways, before discussing the Celtics' future, the series is not over yet. There are still 2 games left and they need to survive Game 6 to enter the decisive match in Game 7.

Until no winner obviously, the Finals are not yet over.

I am not saying that there is a zero chance they would make it to finals again, but it would be very difficult, so why risk it when you can do it now? Just win 2 more games and you are done, then you can just relax, sit back, and enjoy the rest of your career.

Easier said and done. Do you think Boston Celtics are not doing their best to win and don't like to take the opportunity to become the NBA Champion this year?

It's easy to say that they have to JUST win 2 games and that's it, disregarding the fact that the Golden State is a tough team to beat. They are against a team that has several NBA titles already. I know it's not a reason at all why the Celtics should not win against this team but the ball is round and both teams are doing their best to win.

Let's wait for the result of the Finals. If ever the Celtics will lose the series, it doesn't mean they are not at their best.
