What's your parlay bet on the upcoming do or die matches on Monday?

Suns & Bucks for me then Warriors vs Bucks in the NBA finals.  Wink

Now it gets confusing to pick who will be on the Finals.
Boston Celtics does surprising things and winning against the Bucks in their home proves that once again. It's not that the Bucks are lacking a defensive effort, it's there but Tatum is just better offensively just like how Giannis dominated them.

I will pass a parlay for team betting, I'd rather pick singles with good money on the line. Suns and Bucks too.

Well, you can make that decision if you like, but if you will bet on the ML, you will only get a little return if you go with your favorite team to win. It's very confusing, you are right, but in my case, I wouldn't take an odds lower than 1.88.

What a game by Boston Celtics now, it looks like we are going to see a game 7 in this series,  Grin.

It's not over yet, it was just in the 3rd quarter, but they have built a good lead and I don't know if Giannis or Jrue Holiday can carry the team again in the 4th. If they did they we will have another massive comeback from them.

I did not think that the Boston Celtics would win this game, now we will have watched a good and exciting series. Boston Celtics may have the advantage in the last game.
We've been talking about how excellent the Bucks played throughout the year, but now they can be eliminated.
In the last match, everything will be different and I think we will watch a tougher match Smiley
The Celtics would've won Game 5 if they aren't allowing the Bucks offensive rebounds. If you will look at some highlights, you will see 4-5 Celtics players watching the ball as they rebound and this is a perfect opportunity for the Bucks to get offensive rebounds. 17 offensive rebounds? That is their mistake on that game and its good that they bounced back in Game 6 and they forced a Game 7 and right now, they have a bit of an advantage because of its their home.

I will still go with the Celtics with this one. Giannis scored 44 points and 20 rebounds but there isn't that much help offensively from other players or maybe lets also add the fact that he only shot 14/30 with 2/3 in 3pt. area. For me that's inefficient knowing that Giannis mostly shoots inside the paint. Help from other players offensively is needed if they want to steal one in the road and win against the Celtics or else they will lose. Don't focus on Giannis too much offensively and give chance to other players to shoot. The Bucks has many three-point shooters. Allen, Holiday, Matthews, Connaughton and even Portis.

Here we go to game 7, this series is very unpredictable. just like in game 6, Giannis could end the series because they have the home court advantage but it didn't happen, they were dominated by the Celtics, so let's see if they can make a surprise in game 7. Bucks won 2 already on the road, they are a team that should not be underestimated.

Sportsmanship and respect. That's what I always want to see whenever a series ends. Draymond talking to Ja Morant, maybe giving some tips and wishing him good health. Jordan Poole and Jaren Jackson Jr. were ex-teammates in their high school and even became roommates saying their peace after all the heat that came out in the last quarter of the game.
Klay Thompson may be the best player in the books but I think it's Andrew Wiggins who did most of the exhausting defensive maneuvers to change the pace of the game to the Warriors' side.

I thought Celtics will choke again like what happened in game 5 when Bucks cuts it to four in Q4 but Tatum really stepped up to keep the lead up. Although his teammates couldn't contribute well in the scoring, they did well to defend.

Another 40+ points from Giannis but he's too tired to do anything in the final five minutes. Imagine scoring almost half of the total team's score (44 out of 95) Grin

Yeah, I remember last game, in a blink of an eye, the Bucks take the lead and won the game. But the good thing is that the Celtics learn from that mistakes and Tatum come true in clutch. As for the Bucks, it was Giannis but it was evident that he can't play like this every game. He need someone to back him up and in this game, no one. Holiday? nah, this kind of situation is very evident that they really need Middleton.

He seems exhausted but the good thing about him is that he is consistent throughout the series. It's just that there's a need for a push on his teammates. NBA fans get what they want, a decisive Game 7 series where there's no room for any mistakes on both teams.

Regardless if it's home or away, these teams will surely explode to get the ticket to the Conference Finals.

I'm expecting a close game on Game 7.

If Embiid hadn't been injured, he probably would have played more aggressively, and the Heat would have been much harder to beat the 76ers. As for Harden, his performance in this playoffs wasn't impressive at all, and it looks like Embiid is disappointed in him. At least Embiid's comments during the last interview are no longer as enthusiastic as it was during Harden's trade.

That might be the case if Joel Embiid is just 100% healthy. It doesn't mean the Sixers will win the series but at least they can give Miami Heat a close competition on who will enter the Conference Finals. About James Harden, really expect some questions about his playoffs performance because people used to see him as consistent in having good playoffs stats even before.

Feel bad for Embiid. He always put his heart into every game and really serious about winning. One of the emotional players I have seen in an event of a painful loss. I think it's time now for Embiid to erase that loyalty as I'm sure he won't get any championship on Sixers.

Joel Embiid is the only one there who has the "Trust the process" mindset and I don't see anyone else having the same thinking.

I'm really shocked to see that Miami Heat finished the job already by 4-2 last night. I was feeling very confident about a win for Philadelphia 76ers but they lost the game 99-90. I was pretty sure about Embiid to make a big difference actually but he couldn't. And this was very important at this point. Maybe they could have won this game if he performed better. He got only 20 points. And of course, Harden's effort was poor too by 11 points only. Congrats to Heat!
Harden was a big factor on that loss, last game on their home court, Harden scored 30 points IIRC, and that 11 points is unacceptable for a star player.

I was expecting the seventh game in the Heat - 76ers series but it didn't happen. Heat got an unexcepted win and finished the series 4-2. 76ers should have been able to compete with them much better after Embiid recovered from his injury. But even he couldn't help his team compete at a better level with Heat. This was a disappointing series for me unfortunately. But 76ers still seem to be promising and they might do better next season.

Honestly Heat is "a bit" lucky for this series. I do not mean to say that they would lose the series if Embiid was available all games and healthy, who knows maybe Heat would have won even with that, but at the same time it is not clear if they would be the one to come out on top of Embiid was available and 100% ready.
You can look at their head-to-head in 2021 to 2022 regular season for better comparison.

This is not about Heat's "luck" but about Sixer's lack of depth. I bet Miami could win or force the Sixers to a game 7 without Buttler on their line up.

You can also attribute Sixer's loss to their chemistry and to their coach. They are playing the blame game after they lost the series. I don't know who is correct but that's a messy locker room.

Quote
It's still cool though, they were great 2 years ago and reached finals
Almost the same team that just defeated the Sixers.

It's still cool though, they were great 2 years ago and reached finals only to lose to Lakers, and they are still going strong. Look at Lakers meanwhile, they are out of playoffs, so this consistency means a lot, doesn't mean you will win the ring, but at least you have a better chance if you keep trying. People mocked Raptors for losing to Cavs every year, but they got a ring in the end one way or another.

Strus contributed 20 points, this guy is a huge contributor on that win, and he was struggling in the last 2 road games, so he is a surprised.

A couple of teams facing elimination game 6's today.  The Bucks have the Celtics with their backs against the wall at 3-2 and the Warriors have the Grizzlies fighting to stay alive at 3-2.  Both games will be on ESPN tonight for easy watching.  Smiley

I'm honestly surprised that the Celtics and the Grizzlies have been able to stay alive this long.  Maybe more surprised that the Grizzlies managed to win without Ja Morant in the lineup.  That's insane considering how well the Warriors have been playing.  The Celtics I think are a better matchup for the Bucks, especially the way Taytum has been playing, but I still think that Giannis is too much for them (When Middleton?).  I do think the Miami Heat defense will be difficult on Giannis it the Bucks do get to the next round.  The way they were triple teaming Embiid is going to be a problem for Giannis I think.

Dallas will be back at Sun's home court and it's true that both teams didn't win any road game. That's the reason why the

Series ended up in a final one game final, win or rest for the whole season. It will be fate that will allow
any team between the two to move forward and play for another series for the WCF.

We can't really predict, it's a matter of how the players and the system from both coaches to implement and win the
game.
It actually is kind of exciting. Last year 2 pairs of teams also made it to game 7. 76ers vs Hawks and Nets vs Bucks. It was surprising as the Hawks won that series in 76ers home and the same with Bucks who won it in Nets home.

I watched carefully how the Mavs are trying to confuse the Suns. Two guard attackers Doncic and Brunson and the rest will set it up for an outside shot. While the Suns do the same with CP3 and Booker, better, they have Ayton who is dominating the paint. But this may also be their weakness as Jason Kidd used Powell for only 17 minutes which means he trusted the smaller guys to do something about Ayton who played 30 minutes.
It could become a battle of player rotation.
