Stephen Curry didn't have a good game and stayed at only three points last night. He didn't play too much and also maybe he was rested in this game I don't know.
Did you only look at the score? He wasn't rested. He was injured in the first half after he and Marcus Smart went for a loose ball.

Steph Curry will be out indefinitely after that left foot injury but some speculate that he could be back next month.

If hope is no longer with Kyrie, better to bring Curry and Simmons to help Durant.

Durant and other Nets players shouldn't rely on Simmons' help. There are rumors that Ben hopes to play only a couple of games in this regular season, although I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play at all. Even if Ben decides to return during the playoffs, it will be pointless because he won't have time to adapt after such a long break.

Curry is still out if I'm not mistaken, and Simmons seems to be day to day before he can actually play. I'm speculating that he will play before the regular season end, and it could be in their home court just to see how Ben is. If he shows some good sign then definitely he will be a big help come play off time to at least contribute unless the Nets doesn't have any plans for him this season.

That's his decision though, and the Nets have accepted it up to now. But we don't know what will the future bring for them, if he will have to be traded or not because he is being paid to help the team but currently there is none except for games that he can play and then can't be like this till next season. Durant need someone to back him up specially if they wanted to bring a championship to the Nets franchise.

I'm not sure if other teams would be okay with the situation that a player will not be able to play in all the games, so if he will get traded, most likely not in the favor of the Nets. The only solution to that is either he gets vaccinated or the Brooklyn NY would allow players that are unvaccinated to play. However, we know it's not that easy to change the law of a state because it's for everyone, and not for a certain person only.

800+ daily cases average in New York in the past 7 days. Likely the restriction might be lifted soon. But of course, the law won't adjust for Kyrie Irving. The Nets are unstoppable if Irving is there. They surely are having a bit of thinking that what a waste of talent where Irving can't show it on their home games.

Once playoffs come, every game is important. Too bad that when Irving is highly needed, he won't be present.

Nets already move forward on that and take the risks.

I agree, it is quite difficult to be the champion this season. I want Nets and Durant to be champions.
Durant and Irving talked about getting vaccinated, but Durant also supported his friend on this and expressed that he respected his decisions.
If covid is over next season, Irving can continue to be the star of the team without any problems Smiley

Stephen Curry didn't have a good game and stayed at only three points last night. He didn't play too much and also maybe he was rested in this game I don't know. But when he is like this, Golden State Warriors are having important problems on winning games. We saw its example against Boston Celtics last night. They lost to Celtics by 110-88. These teams were already really close to each other in terms of statistics. And bookmakers gave very close winning odds to them too. Celtics were really worth trying one's luck.

Usually happen though, the player being traded played good games against his former team and this proved it again.

I was able to watch the game this the second half, and for sure Spencer was really aggressive and was just driving into the basket against the rookie that was guarding him, So another good win for the Mavs.

It was an ugly lost for the Warriors.
That wasn't really a bad trade for anyone though. I mean I would get it if Simmons somehow gets better and plays better against Sixers because he obviously hates them.

But at the same time, Dwinwiddie was a player who Nets really liked, let him play when they weren't fighting for anything (not like they do now lol) and when Irving-Harden-Durant trio got there, they realized a player like Spencer would have to be let go so that he could play more minutes, he would have been wasted there and his potential would be gone. So he basically just got traded in order to find more minutes somewhere he would be needed more and that is good for both the teams and the player.

I watched a great game. Nets stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving made league history in the Nets-Magic match. The Nets stars became the first teammates to score over 50 points in consecutive matches. I think the duo will continue their outstanding performance in other matches as well.

But you have to see that Kyrie is not going to play a game in their homecourt because of his anti-vaxx stance. So they won't play together in the games left in the regular games and as far I can remember there are only 3 games left for Kyrie to play. It was really down to wire finished against the Mavs though, it seems that Spencer now is a perfect fit or complement to Luka, and Brunson too playing very well, but he will be a free agent and for sure Mavs may want him to stay.

He had a lot of problems because of the opposition to vaccination, I wish he didn't have such a thought. We've seen a lot of negative news, both with teammates and with the media.
Too bad he's only going to play 3 more games, the Nets really need this player. He won't be able to help the team in the games they need the most, I hope they can win the rest of the games

This issue with Kyrie is no longer workable, he's not an open to change his decision and Nets management don't have
any power to force him into his position.

With or without Kyrie, the season is still on, and what the management can do is to maximize all the available players to
work together and try winning those remaining games to stay and play to the next round.

The most interesting and superb game of the night was absolutely Orlando Magic - Brooklyn Nets. Because it was a very special game for Kyrie Irving. He scored 60 points. And this was a career-high statistics for Irving as well. He is a really unpredictable player and I admire his performance. And as far as I have heard, he is going to start playing in home games too soon. I hope that my source is reliable and we can see him in all of the games. Nets really need him too if they want to play big for the title.

Part time Kyrie has became very efficient and a high scoring machine. Nets will definitely be unstoppable If Kyrie plays like this every game.
Well, we all hope Kyrie will have to play all of the games in the playoffs If they want to win the championship.
Pretty they'll be the best team in the East once everyone in the roster plays in the playoffs.

I don't have any doubts about Kyrie either, he already proved many times that he's a must have player who contribute big scores even without any assists from his team mates and the fact that he is so difficult to guard makes him a much needed in the Nets in every game they have.

There's only two options so that Irving can play home games, first is he will get vaccine so that he will be eligible to play everywhere the team plays especially in the playoffs where his presence in the court will be a threat to any team they face and second is that he will wait until the city of New York lifts its Covid-19 vaccine mandate that said that he can't participate on any games held within the city.

Not getting vaccinated is Irving's decision because of his beliefs and etc, the Nets can't also do something about it to make Irving go and get some shots because it was not written on his contract as well. So, even if the Nets highly needs Irving at home, all he can do is to watch his team play and possibly getting defeated in the playoff season.

KD cannot really carry the team alone and it's not a secret anymore that he definitely needs Irving to help him bring the team in the championship. If this goes on, they will continue to lose against the top teams like what happened to them today against the Mavericks.

I don't have any doubt that Mavs will seek for Brunson to stay with them; he continues to be there when Luka needs someone to back him

in terms of scoring, Brunson makes some good shots and gives Luka some lift to keep moving. Spencer also has a good contribution, playing

inside a familiar place and a familiar crowd, though they win this game but Nets shows that it's not an easy one for the Mavs, Dragic help

KD, but not enough for the team to win the game at home.

Durant and Kyrie are both great players especially Durant but if they will not allow Kyrie to play, then there is no chance that they will become the top contender for the playoffs. Durant can't carry the whole team to be honest, he needs Kyrie to win a championship like what LeBron needs to win.
The problem with Kyrie getting the second most shots is that he won't be able to play in most games when the playoffs come. I mean New York maybe did get the mandate ended? I am not sure and even in that case he is still not playing because of the private place rules, he literally got some fine for being in the locker room let alone play last New York game right? All in all we are talking about a big deal for him to miss games during playoffs.

Durant and Kyrie could be great, only if Kyrie gets the vax and plays all games, if not then Durant won't be able to carry his team if he keeps being alone and no superstars around him helping him out.

New York's vaccine mandate has already been lifted last March 7 but that doesn't mean that Kyrie Irving is eligible to play in New York, instead he was only allowed to spectate the game while his team are playing on their home because his case was different. In-case you're wondering here's why:
Quote
Why won't Irving be able to play in the games?
Because, according to Adams' statement, "all other vaccine mandates in New York City will remain in place at this time as they are, and have been, vital to protecting New Yorkers." This includes the city's vaccine requirement for private businesses, which has been in effect since Dec. 27.

If you do in-person work for a New York City-based business, you must be vaccinated.

Cavs - 76ers last night was really great. I was hoping to see a competitive game and I got what I wanted definitely. 76ers won by an only four point gap. And in this, Cavs' great effort in the third quarter played a big role. I mean it increased the competition level. For 76ers, Embiid and Harden had a solid game for sure and that was one of the biggest factors that they won. Both of them got double-doubles. Embiid had 35 points and 17 rebounds. And Harden had 21 points and 11 assists. When even one of them scores this much high, their win probability increases a lot.

It was an amazing comeback by the Cavs in the 2nd half, especially during the 3rd quarter.

They managed to take the lead after the buzzer, lucky for those Sixers fans who are watching and betting during the live game
the odd is really favoring them while the Cavs playing an impressive game in front of their home crowd. Unfortunately, Embiid
Harden and Maxey plus Harris are not willing to give up. They excel again in the last quarter and take the lead back then
win the game.

I am half joking but his free time at home court games really gave him an advantage? He only played 19 games. The dude was absolutely crazy last night. 8 of 12 three pointers and 20 of 31 field goals in total. 41 points on the first half. He was magnificent. The betting for away games and home games for Nets is totally different.

He made history with that.
https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/news/kyrie-irving-career-high-franchise-record-most-60-point-games-nba-history/qbcpzq5m6pdahu6cg6obor8f

Irving is really a tough player to guard, he can shoot anywhere and you can't guard him due to his craftiness.
With this kind of impressive performance, Nets would not be a hard time of climbing to the standing, the only problem is Irving si can't play in home games.

Is this still due to unvaccinated restrictions? I read recently that the reason he was not available on Nets games is because Irving is not allowed to play on the particular state due to unvaccinated policy, This is absurd since the players is in quarantine and there always a Rapid test kit to test whether he is positive or not. I knew this because I lose one of my bets for betting to Nets while I don’t have any info that he can’t play in the game for that policy.

By the way Durant and Irving is very strong duo and one of the best in this season. I excited to see them fight Suns or GSWand see if they still perform like this.

Yes, you got that right. New York is kind of strict about that matter, since that he's not getting vaccine shots then he still can't play on home games even if he's been quarantined and making swabs, that won't suffice. Because of that, Irving's decisions can affect the team specially if they are playing home games. I hope he will get himself vaccinated on playoffs so that he can help the Nets more.

Thank you for the update.
Kevin Durant is right. People are going in and out different facilities now and most are unvaccinated. First reason, after 6 months it should wear off and take a booster. I doubt everyone took it because of the pain it creates after you take the shot. Most of the time a 2 day no movement, fever, and body ache. Who likes that?
I think the point of KD is they are playing with him in different States but no one is infected. Same locker room, sitting side by side in the bench and even hugging with other players.
But the reason for the other party not letting him play might be to avoid people doing the same thing as him. If they just let him go, it might spark chaos.

And now they are beaten by Maverick by just 2 points since Kyrie Irving is out of the game. Clearly the result will be different if Irving play in todays match. My parlay got broken because I thought that they are playing outside New York. This fckin vaccination policy is bullshit as fck because it consistently ruining the players freedom to play the game. I didn't know that Irving will be out on this match since I'm just choosing bet on the sportsbook page while the odds is still the same metrics as if Irving is playing. What a misleading odds IMHO especially for lazy bettors like me that didn't check the court that they will play.

Indeed this is a huge burden to their key player and might this will affect to their whole rooster as Kyrie really give a huge impact to his team. The game will be different if they are complete on that game, but kodus to Doncic and almost a triple double performance to him they really fun to watch on this game.
Yes, because we've seen that before already that Durant alone could not win.
Durant maybe the best player in the team but without Kyrie, most likely the Nets will not advance in the Finals.
To make it short, Nets will be in trouble everytime Kyrie is absent, most especially in the playoffs.

About Luka, I'm not surprise with his performance because that's his usual.

In other hand there's nothing they can do towards this restriction as kyrie decide for his self not to get vaccinated and this is part of consequences of the action what he do also on what he believes.

These are the latest news regarding the issue.
