76ers - Nets game is very predictable but I can't say the same thing for Nuggets - GSW game. 76ers will win this game obviously unless Nets make a big surprise here. 76ers are one of the best teams of this season now and they are on a very great run now. And for the other game, GSW might be seen as the stronger team but they still have a decent probability to lose this too. Because Curry and Thompson is still not giving the performance their supporters want these days. And Nuggets might benefit from this.

The Nuggets are doing better than expected this year in my opinion.  While they may lose to the Warriors, they have bright days ahead.  Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr are said to be getting healthy and back on the court soon.  That will make them one of the better teams in the league.  The state of the team today is pretty bad though.  In addition to Murray and Porter, also out with injuries are Aaron Gordon, Bones Hyland, Zeke Nnaji, Jeff Green, and Will Barton.  You have to wonder who they do have healthy...  With Joker on the floor there's always a chance to win, but I think betting Golden State to win is probably a good call although I haven't seen the odds yet so probably not worth the reward...

Golden state only favored by 2 right now.  On Denver floor and no draymond I can't figure out how they slow down jokic.  He will get everyone wide open looks.  I'm going against the grain and taking Denver here.  Just can't see looney holding down jokic.  Could be wildly wrong but hey ho that's the game.  Either way can't wait to watch both.

I don't know how you can say this is easily predictable.  I actually have money the other way on the Nets.  Yeah the Nets underprerformed this year but that's due to the constant absence of kyrie and Durant.  With both of them playing this is about dead even to me.  Wouldn't be surprised kyrie doesn't throw up 30-35 points here.  The only game on during that time and the world will be watching.  Dude loves these games.  Call him what you want but one of the toughest covers and no one on Philly can cover him, Harden doesn't like to play d.  And Noone can cover kd on the outside, if they pull embid out to the 3 point line the paint will be open.  And then seth...lots of mismatches here and actually think Nets control this from tip to tip.  Only way Philly wins is if they dominate the foul shot category here.  Popcorn ready this one is gonna be good.

Would you mind telling us if you actually made a bet on the Sixers - Nets game? Moneyline or handicap? You sound so confident about the team who is going to win so it's only logical to think you would really bet on them.

I know Kevin Durrant and Kyrie Irving will be playing so no assurance whatsoever that they will lose.

Lakers lost again, this time to Rockets on OT. They are showing the whole world that they do not even deserve to be in play in tournament let alone be in playoffs. I do not know what happened to that team. They got westbrook and a few older players to help, and even got some younger guys like Reaves and Monk helping right now. But they are losing against everyone these days. Next stop could only be losing to Orlando, don't know if they have any games left to play in Orlando but if they lose to them, then it is really this roster over.

After this year, they really need to work hard to find a way to send westbrook away, don't know who they can get, but westbrook is not a player they should be keeping at all. He needs to go and they need to get someone else. Even Rondo was much better there, and he gets paid so much little compared to westbrook.

This was destined to fail.  Combining a ton of older players together has never worked.  And throwing reeves and the like isn't going to cut it.  They need to shed age and start from there.  And I agree I'd hate yo see them in the playing game and make it to play the Suns or someone who will embarrass them in a series.  But they probably will make it, since 11th and below in the league just don't cut it.

The LA Lakers continued their bad course in the league with the Houston Rockets game. LeBron James outstanding performance also does not bring success to the LA team. The Nuggets team reflects their successful games in the last matches on the field and they caught a good series.

I wouldn't say that LeBron had an outstanding performance against the Rockets. Yes, he made a triple-double, but he also made five turnovers and scored only 1 of 9 three-pointers. In addition, LeBron could have won this match if he had scored a layup in the last seconds of the 4th quarter.

It doesn't make sense for Ben to be sitting on the bench in his return to Philadelphia after the trade. Just go there when you can play and silence the crowd with every point you make. I prefer to see how Irving and Harden trade blows and not some jeering to a player not on the court.

Tonight is definitely a great night for this season of the NBA. 76ers are hosting Nets and Nuggets are having a home game as well against Warriors. 76ers are absolutely the favourite team to defeat Nets here. Nets are still in a miserable condition in general. They are still not a complete team now and it will continue to cost them a lot. 76ers are way ahead of them and their performance in the recent times has been highly impressive. And I'm curious about the Harden - KD duel too. And Nuggets - Warriors is hard to predict. Nuggets are a dangerous team for Warriors. They already played against each other three times and Nuggets won all of them. Let's see if GSW are ending it or not.

Going to be an interesting night for basketball.  The 76ers playing the Nets is a spectacle you might have to tune in to watch.  Luckily it will be broadcast on TNT for everyone to have the chance to see.  Ben Simmons returning to Philly is going to be a nightmare for him I'm sure.  The fans will certainly be letting him hear it, and I think that's the point.  Ben's agent, Rich Paul, alluded to them filling a grievance with the NBA over a toxic work environment.  They plan to have Ben sitting on the sidelines getting insults in order to dig up evidence to back their claim.  I'm sure there will be no shortage of examples of why Ben didn't feel safe in the environment.  It will be interesting to see if he ends up getting his salary back and what sort of precedent this will set for the future.  I'm pretty sure that NBA owners will be kicking fans out left and right if Ben does get paid.  NBA games just got a little less fun for the fans and a little better for players who listen to them.

IMO they can't pay em.  That will only tilt the scale towards the players even more.  They already collude to who they want to play with.  If they get to sit out whenever they don't want to work and still collect 10s of millions it will only lead to more things.  I could only wish to work in the hostile environment he was working in.  It's an insult to people that actually do.

Its useless to have a triple double performance if the rest of the tram is dragging you down and game is extended to an OT. If Lakers just maintain there Lead from 3rd quarter to 4th quarter then they will not lose on an overtime match. Lebron is not suitable to play the center role if no one filling his position for scoring. Lakers has a very bad forward and bench players which doesn’t contribute enough points on this game when they are needed the most. I’m really sorry for LBJ to see like this. It feels like he will already leave the team or change complete roster for the next season.

Rockets beat Lakers unexpectedly and Alperen Şengün broke his career high by 21 points and 14 rebounds. Jalen Green put 32 and Josh Christopher 21. This young Rockets team look promising. If they get a good player from draft then rebuilding may pay-off well.
LeBron made another triple double and Westbrook put 30 but this unexpected loss might be a problem for their play-off chances. They should win as many matches as possible. Only six games left, I guess they need at least four wins. They have potential to do that but it won't be easy.
Well, Lakers also performed bad, especially on the defence. But Houston also did really good, I agree with the young team's promising future. Green and Christopher, who are 20 years old, and the 19-year-old Sengun look indeed very promising about the Rockets' future. They performed quite good as rookies. Lebron and Melo defended Sengun and Sengun did not bad.

Lebron's shooting was not so good, even though his triple double. If couple of more shots were in, things could be different for the Lakers. Nevertheless, Rockets were surprisingly fought good and deserved the win. Hard times ahead for Lakers.

After watching the Rockets a couple of games I like watching them.  They play loose and if they grab one more stud in the draft this year they can be good real fast.  Grab a couple good vet leaders in free agency and they could be right in the mix in the West.  Jalen finally looks like it's coming together for him after a slow start to the season.
A lot of hype when Jalen comes in the NBA and there are some NBA analyst who says that he could be the rookie of the year, but he was injured in the beginning so it's very unfortunately that he is out of the race. Nevertheless his team mate Christian Wood might get the ROTY. As for the Lakers, Westbrook has a good game and Lebron too, but it wasn't enough against as they fell short.

Chicago Bulls finally break their five game losing streak, though they ended up beating the Detroit Pistons who aren’t very good, so not like it as a signature win but it was still nice to see them finally snap that streak. Hopefully they can string a few together to try and boost their playoff seeding as we head in to the stretch here.
They almost lose that game again if they were not able to have a strong comeback win in the 4th quarter.

DeRozan was huge in this game, he contributed 36 big points, and at the same time, Vucevic and Lavine also added 21 and 25 points respectively.
Maybe this could be the start of their winning streak.  Smiley

What's important is they win and break their losing streak. Being down big time is just a flow of the game, but a good team always comes back as they know that the end is what matters the most, and they got the W they are looking for.

If Bulls continue to lose games, that would still not make them lose their chance in the playoffs because they positioned themselves already in a comfortable rank, just like the Warriors, why they are not criticized when they also have a long losing streak before their latest win.

That's some stats for Nikola Jokic securing a win for the Denver Nuggets.
35 minutes. 38 points. 18 rebounds.  Shocked 7 assists. This dude is trying to lock the MVP award for him.
Foul trouble, that's the Kings' issue when defending the MVP candidate. Alex Len is not too careful at how he guards him and they don't have a backup center. Lyles tried but not enough to stop the monster. Fox chased the lead but he lacks time even if he can do it all. 32 points for the fastest guy in the league.
Jokic is literally carrying his team and with how he is playing, I'm thinking that he deserves the MVP more than Embiid.
Embiid has a higher PPG but in terms of efficiency and other stats such as Rebounds and FG %, Jokic has better numbers than him. I think the MVP race this season will be between Jokic and Embiid.

A near triple double again for him. I also hope that he will win this year's MVP so he can get a back-to-back MVP's which I think he deserves right? Smiley

Yes, and it will be a close fight for the MVP race again, I doubt that there will be no unanimous MVP because it will be close between him and Joel Embiid. But I do agree that it we weight the totally of the statistics, Jokic ha a good number overall. And then he is carrying the team with himself alone, as compare to Joel who has Harden. So for me, he deserves to win back to back, just saying.
That also as well will make the chances of him winning the MVP title again increases.
The fact that he is the only one carrying the team with no all-star player beside him and they are the 6th spot is just amazing already. Also seeing the record of both 76ers and Nuggets as of this moment, the Nuggets are 2 losses only behind the 76ers.

With regards to unanimous MVP, I don't think that it will happen or it will happen again but maybe in the next years but not this year. When Steph got the unanimous MVP, its pretty obvious at that time because that is the time where the Warriors are just sweeping teams after teams and he is performing at an all-star level that season. Now many players are competing from it but I'm betting for Jokic to win with the title as long as his performance will retain like how he is playing right now or as long as he will not get injured.
