As long as the Bulls will end up in the top 4, they will enjoy the home-court advantage and that would really help them.
Currently, they are at the number 4 but the competition is very tight.

https://www.espn.com/nba/standings

Anything can happen in that ranking as seen above.

Celtics is chasing behind and with the kind of games they are performing right now, it's not by far

that they can bring the bulls down and take that good spot. Bulls need to start winning games again like how they
bring down the Cavs today.

DeRozan needs to be more aggressive while his other co-stars are not inside, it's a good competition though coming
from the east it's getting more exciting before the playoffs.

I'm sure that Westbrick is already aware of his performance as a Lakers because he has been criticize a lot by fans and the basketball public. It even involved her wife in the discussion. He is trying to do his best that's why Lebron needs to elevate and carry the team on his shoulder again with another 50 point performance just to stay above right now. Sooner or alter WB will be traded by the Lakers.

Westbrook is showing the worst performance of his career, and it's clear he doesn't fit the Lakers. There is even news that the coaching staff tried to insist on his trade before the deadline. Honestly, I think Westbrook will leave the Lakers during the offseason, but it's worth noting that he has a player option in his contract. It means that he might re-sign the contract with the Lakers for next season.

Nobody talking about LeBron James putting up 50 points for the second time in a week? This one was a pretty efficient shooting game as he went 18 of 25 from the field in the win. Unfortunately, he had to carry the team himself because Westbrook only got 5 points on 2 of 11 shots from the field. You hate to see it. I really hope Russ gets things figured out before the season ends and it looks like they could use AD back as soon as possible if they want to make the post season. Good win tonight though over Kuz and company.

I feel bad for LeBron, he plays great despite his age but the rest of the team is pretty weak. A 50-point performance is a huge success, and LeBron does it all the time. But as long as Westbrook plays, I think he is hurting the team, he needs to leave the team as soon as possible.
He must be aware that it doesn't do much

Yeah lebron will be lebron the rest of the team is weak AF.  Melo is nice for 15 minutes off the bench but if Reaves and Monk play as much as they do they are in trouble the rest of the way.  And russ well this actually might be his last stop.  He looks clumsy out there.
when we say Lebron James what comes up to our mind is that a man or a player who have a good record and have a skills also to carry his team to a victory but we must know that he is a human he can feel tired also and all he needs right now is a player that a good and can carry his team too so that lebron has an assistant.

I think at 37 years old LeBron was hoping he wouldn't have to carry this team.  That's why they surrounded him with hall of famers.  Unfortunately, coach Vogel isn't putting players in at the right times and I think he's a big problem.  The other problems being that AD is constantly injured, Westbrook is having the worst season of his career, and the entire team is extremely old for an NBA team.  It seems that instead of getting the best of all possibilities, they're getting the worse.  I really hoped a coaching change at the all star break would give them some new energy, but they decided to stick wtih Vogel.  Now it looks like they'll be swapping Westbrook and AD in the offseason for DeRozan and Wall.  I doubt that will solve any problems and the team isn't getting any younger.  A shame.

The point is, Lakers should not be carry by anyone, by a single one, by a veteran.

It's not just about Russel Westbrook that always a bad night but he and Lebron is not the only players in the Lakers that needs to step up. Anthony Davis is nowhere to be expected too to give Lakers a boost since already injury-proned even at young age.

Lebron's other teammates should also do their best. If someone is having a worst night, they should try to cover it.
To be fair, they paid so much to get Westbrook that they do not have any players left that could help them out. I mean if they kept last years roster, and added like Rondo and Melo to that (maybe get rid of dennis if you have to) then they would have been much better. That would have allowed them to have rondo, kuzma, caruso, melo, kcp and that is much better than having just westbrook. Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those people that hate westbrook, and this is not about how much he really costs.

It is about the fact that 5 or so great players, turned into one superstar and 4 horrible players for Lakers. Even if westbrook was great, that means whenever he is out, there are 4 players missing from the team. I would assume that if they didn't do that, and did what I said, then they could have been a lot better with this roster since they wouldn't have to be carried at least.

The LA Lakers continued their bad course in the league with the Houston Rockets game. LeBron James outstanding performance also does not bring success to the LA team. The Nuggets team reflects their successful games in the last matches on the field and they caught a good series.

Yes, the Lakers this season took a very different route and looks like we can't see them in the playoffs this season. LBJ's talent and performance is still good but now that he is aging, he can't really bring the team to the Finals alone. They should take an early rest and figure out what would they do next season because investing and having WB is definitely not good for them.

Lebron James show to us what he got right now but I think it too that he can not carry his team alone and he needs a buddy or let say teammates 1 or 2 who can assist him or can carry a team too and them they will get the victory but for now I doubt if they can still play for the playoffs and have a chance to claim the Trophy.
I think lakers must have another star player to assist lebron in order to champ again.

On point, LeBron can't really do the chores alone now because he can only help set the table rather than doing all of it. He really need some mate to help him because even if AD is healthy, they are still barely winning some games and we know that is not enough to get a ring and a trophy. The Lakers have done many mistakes this season, they really need to invest another set of fresh feet because it's already proven that having a team of full of former superstars won't make it.

Heat - Cavaliers was one of the decent games of the night. And just as I was expecting, Heat won by a 117-105 result. Heat were already highly favourite side to reach the victory in this game. Adebayo made a great double-double too. He had 30 points and 17 rebounds which were really impressive statistics. Heat are still keeping their lead in the Eastern Conference and they are going to be one of the teams that are going to be followed closely in the playoff rounds. And I wonder how far they will manage to go.

With the way Bulls are playing, I guess the only team that maybe can give them a good fight is the Sixers or Bucks. But they have a good 3-5 games lead, unless they falter near the end of the regular season, they could have sealed as the top seed in the East again. Although they don't have like a franchise players like other team, still the team is very cohesive with the addition of Tucker and Lowry and then Herro becoming one of the best shooter we have right now and could be the six man of the year.

They are quietly winning the game, they are all franchise players as they are considering one another as co-equal with how they

are performing, that's the good thing with the Heat they are trusting each other and they always have each others back. No so called

superstar but a team that working alongside with each other and continue to impress the fans.

but as we see the Lakers are struggling, for sure the best decision is to trade him, or Davis, but it's unlikely to happen.

LeBron James is the one carrying the Lakers and the best decision is to trade him?

Lakers are nothing for several seasons after Kobe's retirement, even prior to his retirement. They rebuild with pure young cores but didn't work out for years. When LeBron comes, that's the only time Lakers become a playoffs contender again (except on the 1st season that they missed the playoffs as LeBron sits out for long because of injury). The following year, they got the NBA bubble Champion.

At his age, still putting up 50 points. Not good in general since the Lakers just showing that all of them are inconsistent.

One thing is for sure to me, trading LeBron won't save the current Lakers' a**.

Sorry my bad, I think you misunderstood my post. I was referring to Westbrook in that reply, and this was the statemetn I was replying upon.

But as long as Westbrook plays, I think he is hurting the team, he needs to leave the team as soon as possible.

Of course, the Lakers will not trade him, he is the most efficient in his team now despite the oldest, probably.
Further, Lebron has not been traded yet in his entire basketball career.

Lebron won't be traded but if he sees no improvement in the team, he might ask to get traded so he can continue his legacy. Of maybe he will just wait because he will be restricted by 2023 offseason.

Quote
When will LeBron James be a free agent?
After signing a two-year $85.7 million dollar contract extension in 2020, James is under contract with the Lakers through the 2022-23 season. James will be an unrestricted free agent in the 2023 offseason.

If the Lakers could not give Lebron have a shot at a championship, for sure he will not retire in Lakers uniform.

Dallas is back on their winning track.

They beat the Houston Rockets with a score of 113 - 100, which is led by Luka Doncic as usual, he tallied 30 points and 14 rebounds, another double-double performance by him. Happy for the result as I was able to put my bet on the Mavericks and they cover the spread.

Tomorrow, I'll be betting again, I like the Bucks -1 against the Warriors.

They are the favorite to win against the Rockets though, so there is no big surprises here.

Luka is the heart and soul of the team, so if he plays good most likely they are going to win games. And it's good that he has some help as well, because the last time they've lost he is the only one who got double digit in scoring, if my memory serves me right.

I'm not surprised they win against the Rockets, the team they beat are at the bottom of the standing I believe and Mavericks are a playoff team.
They just did bounce back from a bad performance against the Knicks and you are right, they are back in the winning track and they'll surely have a chance to build a winning streak again.

Tomorrow, I'll be betting again, I like the Bucks -1 against the Warriors.
This is a tough match up to decide but I'm going with the home team.
