I'm one of the ten people who voted for the Nets when Irving was still playing. I didn't think it would be easy wins over the Bucks but it surely made it tough for the Nets with him out injured.

I voted Clippers for the Western conference finals. There are more guys stepping up with Kahwi's absence and that's a plus. Suns will have difficulty stopping PG, Jackson, Morris, and Mann. Clippers are better in defense than Suns I think.

Poll Question: Bucks - Nets?
Bucks - 3 (23.1%)
Nets - 10 (76.9%)
Total Voters: 13

Majority of voters thought Nets to advance but Bucks made it. We can go on voting by Conference Finals now.

Who is your favorite in Western Conference, Los Angeles Clippers or Phoenix Suns?

Hi guys, here is my bet for today:

Phoenix Suns - LA Clippers - x1,57: My bet

In my humble opinion, the Phoenix have absolutely all chances of winning the Game 1 of the series against the Clippers. There are enough reasons: Phoenix had 6 days to rest and prepare for the prospective opponent. Moreover, the fact that the Clippers could become their rivals was already becoming clear after the Game 5. Although Mann played excellently in the Game 6, I think that the same game is unlikely to be shown again. Therefore, I will not say for the entire series, where the Clippers can still show themselves, but Game 1 should be for the Phoenix today.

So you believe that they will win even without CP3 in game 1?

Yes, they are good and they have the home-court advantage, but the Clippers had been playing really well.
I hope the suns will not come out rusty in game 1, that usually happen for teams that have a long rest.

5 days is not the longest vacation, but it is very profitable to rest a little and prepare well for your opponent. I have nothing against the Clippers (an objective assessment only), in Game 6 I was stunned when I saw how many 3pts were shot by Mann, but here we must not forget that this could be a one-time success for him. Therefore, I will not guess, everything will become clear very soon.

If the first two series is the basis, I am betting it will be another 2-0 lead by the Suns. And JEFE92 is right, Suns are well rested vs the clippers who have just a day rest and needs to adjust to Suns game play. That is a large factor to consider. But I disagree that Mann is just a one-time success. The man is very active on the floor but this time he is getting feed with the ball. Without Kawhi, I think he will step up again on the next games.

I'm not saying that Mann will no longer show himself in any way. I was stunned when 3-pointers one by one flew into the Jazz rim. First of all I don't want him blown away against the Phoenix

...durant did his best to carry the team it's just not enough.
Respect to the man and he could have won it for the Nets without overtime with that almost 3-point shot. People bashing him for that air ball but I don't blame him. He was already tired in OT playing all minutes of the game.

...

Game 1 for Clippers and Suns is tough to predict but I bet it's going to be a fast paced game.

Game 1 is very exciting to watch, but it's too early in my timezone, it's 3:30 AM, I am not sure I will be able to watch this, I might just watch the replay and still enjoy it. Paul George has to be consistent if he wants the Clippers to have a good chance against the Suns, they are the most successful team this season as they climb from a shitty team to a legit team.

It's all on Paul George leadership now, but they are more successful playing as a team and find the hot hands to lift them.

Good thing as even without Kawhai they managed to climb up this part, they are now on the  WCF finals. Adjustment with moving the ball and keeping the same level of their defense will give them a better chance to compete with the hot duo's of CP3 and Devin Booker.

Both teams are good in 3 point shooting, but in terms of ball movement I think the Suns had a better one, however, if Paul will not man the PG, I guess things will be different as he is the one who contributed a lot for the success of the team when he was not traded with the team, the Suns are not a playoff team, now that he came, they become not just a playoff team but a championship team.

Durant another monster game, he almost won the game with that 3 2.

Now we are going into OT, I'm feeling that the Nets will blow this up. Bucks looks very tired so let's see if they are going to choke. Holiday and Middleton and Giannis will have to double their effort here.

If not for the miss free throws though, Bucks could have won the game already.

On the contrary, it was the Nets who choke on the OT as they only scored 2 points.

It's evident that a one man team of Durant can't do it alone. And then we have Bucks acquisition of Holiday and PJ Tucker who has help a lot in offense and defense to get them the win. Giannis with a consistent game in this series, it's just he was overshadowed by Durant. Nevertheless they got the win and that's what matters now as they will go on the ECF.
Again Middleton have a great performance and Lopez, this is what I'm saying the last time that if these two players will have a good game, they are going to beat the nets, because Middleton have great moments before in winning a game, and Lopez use his length in game 7 with those crucial blocks
but durant did his best to carry the team it's just not enough.

Clippers without Kawhi and having tough match against match will surely having a hard time against Suns. I know that Paul George is good player that can carry his team mate but I loss faith on him after he suffer a major injury before. Suns player is young and on fire plus Chris Paul which is a consistent veteran play maker. Suns has the best shot on this season.

The Suns have the advantage, because unfortunately Kawhi Leonard was injured
I wouldn't say that the Suns have an advantage, considering that the Clippers have already proven they can win without Leonard. Regarding Paul, there aren't new updates about his current condition. So we can only assume that he will be able to play in game 3 or 4 of WCF.

Bucks beat the odds on the home team winning the majority of game 7. But they have to take an extra regulation and Durant was too tired just by looking at his body language with he take that airball.

Things really changed for the Nets when Irving was down, it's not for them this season, hopefully, next season they'll all be healthy. Also, we did not see the contribution of the 3 point shooters of the Nets like Harris, he seemed to be struggling starting game 3 of the series.

Quote
But as he has said, his foot is too long that it could have been the difference as if that is a 3 then they would have won already and ending Bucks run. I reckon that Sixers will win the game against the Hawks to set Bucks vs Sixers for the ECF championship.

This should be a fun series to watch, it's an even match up and I'm sure the only advantage on both are their home court advantage on every game.

What a game Nets - Bucks was! We've seen a great fight between Durant (48 pts, 9 reb, 6 ast) and Giannis (40 pts, 13 reb, 5 ast). Bucks were the winner of this series after overtime, 115-111. Durant did everything he could. He played extra for sure. If Harden was a little better than this, they could have won also. After this result, it looks like we are gonna have a really interesting final series.
There's a lot of what ifs on the Nets, Durant was healthy but it's unfortunate that Irving and Harden is not 100%, no excuse but it could turn the series around if they are in the floor. So congratulations to Giannis and the Bucks as they advance. I think either or Atlanta or Philly, they will be the heavy favorite now to win the title.

The last game of Philadelphia - Atlanta series is today. It has been really hell of a series. In my opinion, 76ers will manage to promote to the conference finals and be the opponent of Bucks.

I'm "anesthetized", i can't believe the nets lost. They were favorite for the title along with the Lakers.
But the victory was to the Bucks' credit.

I think this season will go down in history, a lot of players got injured, in regular season and playoffs.
Also, Lakers and Nets who were favorites for the title were eliminated.

My question is, will CP3 be able to play in game 4 or maybe in game 3???
