I don't think that the bookies are wrong putting the Nets as underdog.

Next game will be at Bucks home court and probably that is the reason they are the favorite to win the next game. So let's see if Giannis will perform better, what I mean is that he is doing good in this series, scoring 30+ but he is over shadowed by Durant. And as the season is on the line, he needs to step up here and forced game 7.

Without Kyrie and Harden still not 100%, placing Nets as underdog is fair enough, considering also that they are visiting team and we all witness how Bucks take game 4 from them.

Though if KD play the same intensity bringing everything in his shoulder, the chance still high for them to win, and like what you have said Giannis needs to step up if he wants to push this series into do or die game, Him and Middleton should help each other to keep their distance near from the Nets.

Expect Durant and Giannis to have another monstrous games, player props might good to consider from this game if you are unsure which team to back up.

Irving is still out in game 6.

Harden and Durant are still playing, but let's hope Harden will improve his offense in game 6 so they can finish the series.
This is good for nets bettors as they are the underdog again, put a bet on ML, and enjoy a good winning.

It should not be a problem for the Nets, they won last game without Irving, so I believe they can do it again. Nets don't need a big 3 to beat the Bucks, with Durant's supreme basketball talent, he will be able to bring the team to a win as long as he gets some support from his teammates.

Bookies are wrong to list them as +5.5 points underdog.

Bookies will never be wrong because no one knows the outcome of the game, they can even put +10 nets in this game, and we will still see people betting on it. We just have our own opinion so we find it wrong, maybe the right term to use is that the team is either overvalued or undervalued in the betting lines.

... I'm most concern on Joel, it seems that he has aggravated that knee again in the 3rd when he try to go for a block on Trae or Lou's attempt.
That's a possible reason why he stopped attempting to block inside the paint. Trae dropped a lot of points in the 4th while he watches. I thought he was just extremely tired from working a lot in three quarters.

I didn't notice that, he just looked like he was tired because he was the one who is providing a lot in the offense and made good defense as well. Also, the hack on Simmons seems to work a bit on the Hawks, he is really a liability when it comes to free-throw shooting, reason why he was taken out sometimes and that's where the Hawks attack the paint.

There is a good chance Jazz could make a comeback this series as well, I know that Clippers went ahead thanks to this game but they are missing Kawhi, and that means PG has to play like this every game and I doubt that he can, he hasn't been able to play like this for a long time, this was just one game, maybe he is actually good when Kawhi is not around and that's his thing, be the star or be nothing, but I still think Jazz has a good chance to win it.

Hawks on the other hand is a weird situation, I can't say sixers will comeback and win, there is a good chance they may not end up winning as well, Hawks is a team none of us seen them at conference finals, a Nets vs Hawks conference finals will be a weird one but I will still take it, since I do not have a dog in the fight it doesn't matter if it is sixers or hawks but I certainly believe they will be underdogs in that series as well.

Leonard's injury looks serious because his status now is "out indefinitely", and according to the news, it was an ACL injury and he might be out long term. We never know if he will come back in the next round or the WCF, but without him, I think the Clippers will suffer against the healthy Suns.

That's very unfortunate news for the Clipper's fan out there. Without Leonard, I doubt if they can win this series against the Jazz, and if ever they do win, they might be sweep by the Suns IMO. The odds for game6 are already out and the Clippers are the slight underdog which means that bookies are anticipating a Jazz win especially that Mike Conley is expected to be back in that game.
We've seen how long KD took to recover from his injury. It maybe not the same but the time frame in recovering in this kind of injuries whether its Achilles or ACL is very long and possible it will take a season if its severe. Just see what happened to Klay since he suffered an ACL.

His chances of returning in WCF if they will win is very slim knowing that it is an ACL and putting more pressure on it might affect not only his team but his career in general as well. If the Clippers will win into this series, they might face the Suns without CP3 because he is still in a quarantine facility and we don't know how long will he stay there.

Now with regards to Conley coming back in Game 6, the Jazz have an upper hand here but the momentum is still in the Clippers and knowing that they are playing in their home their chances of winning might increase. If the Clippers will win in this series, it will be an easier fight for the Suns to the NBA Finals.

It's unfortunate that major injuries have definitely altered this entire playoffs almost.  Seems more now than I can remember.  Knicks never really had injuries but could have used some injuries to bench most of their starters lol.

Those odds will modify after next games because 76ers will beat Hawks in 7 games.

For me , this season of NBA play-offs is barely watchable because of the injuries of the players and remember when LeBron said to NBA that this type of schedule will affect a lot of great players and will create lots of injuries. Here we are now, with most important players in NBA this season have been injured and what is even more sadly is that some of the players will miss the chance to bring their team to a final or even help them win it...

So yea , for me the favorite cannot be pronounce yet as all of them have their chance. What is next ? Trae young to get injured ? KD ? Who we gonna watch then ?
He actually said it again.

They all didn’t wanna listen to me about the start of the season. I knew exactly what would happen. I only wanted to protect the well being of the players which ultimately is the PRODUCT & BENEFIT of OUR GAME! These injuries isn’t just “PART OF THE GAME”. It’s the lack of PURE
It's true and I don't think NBA didn't expect that.
They might know it would happen but they just ignored it. IIRC, they even went to the extent of posting facts that injuries this year and last year were lower during the bubble. The hell are they talking about.
They want to finish the game with speed so they can start early this year. It became greed or the investors and owners are pushing the commissioner to rush things out so they could recover from all the losses last season.

Yeah they get 2 cracks at putting down the jazz with the next one coming at home.  If they do make it past I don't think they have enough to get by the suns even without cp3.  For me this playoffs is all Nets right now.  Durant is the best player maybe in the league and if he can just keep one of Kyrie or Beard on the court they will take home the chip.

^^ PG13 is just on the shadow of Leonard in this series, but I would say that he is consistent, not just offensively, but in defense as all.

I love how Reggie Jackson, Mann and Batum are doing as well. They are also playing good defense at the same time hitting clutch three point. Wonder thought why Rajon Rondo is not giving enough minutes on the court, is he nursing some injury or something?

What lacking again for the Jazz is their inside offense, they relied so much on their 3 point shooting and they got tired in the end. Their 3 point shooting in that game was only 37% or 20-54, and that's below their average I believe, while the Clippers only made 40 attempts because they are driving the ball inside and they are moving the ball very well.

If they can't beat the Clippers without Leonard, then I guess this series is over in 6 already.

I believe that this NBA season belongs to the west team.
Maybe you mean East?

Whoever win in the East will face monster team like Phila, Nets and Bucks which is very strong with there current roster. Clippers without Kawhi is just another team on East. I highly doubt that PG13 can continue this game phase until finals though.

Jazz vs Clippers series and Suns are west teams, while Nets vs Bucks and Philly vs Hawks, they have teams in the East.
According to the betting odds, the East is the favorite to win in the NBA finals, so you are right.

Rockets are good in this season
Why? Because of the 3 first round picks?
Paul George has been criticised for his performance against the Mavs, even calling him Pandemic George. So it's just a matter of time before he really step up, just sad that it somewhat needed for Kawhi to get injured. Morris Sr and Reggie Jackson also was in the zone, hitting 3's to dosed Utah rally in the fourth quarter.

But in any case, they hold off a strong Utah Jazz in their homecourt, but the series is not over yet although Clippers is just a game within.
No, that's not true. He already stepped up his game from Game 2 to Game 5 (now) with the Jazz. Kawhi was still playing at that time and he was the wingman who contributed a lot for the Clippers. It's just that, he got all the attention today because Kawhi was out.
Consistency will be the only problem. I hope he doesn't go far to being overconfident and can still rely with his team like Jackson and Morris Sr.
They also made it this far because of those two while Batum helps them on the defensive end.
