Heat with a narrow win. I thought the Cavs already had the momentum after taking the lead but Rozier came up big in the final two minutes.

He hit that step back 3, yeah this game is full of momentum swing, every quarter was different. But in the last 2 minutes, Cavs where leading by 4. Unfortunately, they foul him and Rozier converted the 4 point play and that dagger 3 for the lead. Another bad lost for the Cavs, it's winnable for them. But with the experience of Heat specially Jimmy Butler, they will still be the darkhorse this season and maybe just like the last, they pulled a upset and might go to the finals. But we will see, the East is somewhat predictable with Boston at the top.

I can't see Rockets making playoffs or even playing in play-in tournament since Alperen Sengun injured and out of the remaining season. This last 8-2 games is just free win. Most of the Teams last games against Rockets are not even making playoffs. But yes they have a chance to make Play-in Tournament since upon checking their remaining game most of Team they can easily win against it.

I also don't see the Rockets catching up as the Warriors have built enough gap for securing the 8th spot. I doubt the Warriors will suddenly crumble and lose their next 5 games.

Well, Tyrese Maxey had been phenomenal in his 3 consecutive games. Those 30 points per game will be crucial in this battle against the Phoenix Suns. But still, I might not consider betting on them because once the Phoenix Suns superstar trio finds their rhythm in the offensive end, it will be difficult to stop them. Plus, they have Nurkic who can be effective against the 76ers who don't really have a good inside defender.
I am thinking Nurkic might get 15+ points + 10+ rebounds in this game. Also, that's the key to why the Suns will make sure they win this one, they have been losing in their recent game so I can see them forcing this one.
Take note that Tobias Harris is also listed in a questionable status. I will be bettting for the Suns -10.5 here.

If they continue winning games and Warriors continue to struggle there's still chance that they can reached the play-in and yes it was way back Harden Era when they've last compete in the playoffs, they added new sets of players who contributed well though their rally might be not enough for the season but like what you said they are still composed of young generation stars and if they keep this squad and there's no changes that take place they can matured more and start moving forward for their chase to win again the title.

We are now close to the NBA playoffs and we are less than a month away, looks like they will gonna have a hard time doing that because the other teams in the number 7-10 spots are not giving any easy win to their opponent and that surely be the reasons for them to not climb no matter how hard they try this time. Unless some miracle happens that those teams will have losing streaks in the upcoming days and they on the other hand will win one after another and that surely makes them steal the spot and play in the play-in tournament instead of Lakers or GSW. If only their star player didn't get injured, this would be an easy job for them.

Was thinking the same. At a particular point I thought no way they make up the gap but after watching them implode during the Knicks game I just don't think they are that good of a team. I think that is because Embiid is still out with an injury right? He's missed a ton of games now and his team hasn't been doing all that great in his absence, so I will admit I also bet against the 76ers vs the Suns tonight. Not to mention that we are scheduled to get our first look at Isaiah Thomas in a Suns uniform tonight and I don't think they're going to want to let his debut get spoiled by a loss against a team without their star player. I'm looking forward to seeing what Isaiah can do now that he's being given another chance in the NBA and hope he does well. He was doing great in the G league.

I watched LeBron James and JJ Redick’s new podcast yesterday. It definitely shows off LeBron’s basketball IQ but I’m not sure how other NBA players will feel about LeBron calling out their ability to run plays and flip them without needing a coach to draw it out. With few games left for the season and with news that Vanderbilt, Vincent, and Wood are out for the remainder of the season, It will be a tough challenge for the Lakers to keep their record or go up in the standings since those players are some of the key players for the Lakers, especially Vando and Wood. The presence of both of them on the defensive end will surely be missed.

What the Lakers need to do is keep the pace, and of course, do not lose games. They hope to avoid any more injuries and win the play-in. The most critical aspect of this end-season stretch is who they are facing in the play-in. If it's the Warriors, maybe they do have a chance, but if it's the Kings, I don't know about that; AD is 0-10 against Sabonis. We don't know when that streak will be stopped, but as of the moment, it will continue.

There's nothing they can do here, not at the very short period of time going to the play-in tournament which I think is their best chances based on the current standing. They can make a strategy but the current roster of the Lakers are not good enough to compete against a championship team or a proven playoffs teams. I don't want to underestimate them, but we can do the simple math here, this Lakers signed AD and won a championship, now AD is injured, that could easily mean championship hopes are gone too.

Still, Antman did a great job here, and just like the commentator said, Coach Chris Finch should still be happy for the competitive spirit that was shown by his team. They are playing back-to-back games for crying out loud and they are still giving the reigning champions a difficult time. Then, they are undermanned.
McDaniels stepped up his game way high in this game. The last time I saw him play like that was against the Kings but I did expect him to play well, not just this much, which is why I added him to my props.

He seems like a very down to earth guy and very hardworker.

I'm not sure Rockets are doing the right thing though. He is extremely young and still missing some things from his game, like shooting. I realize it is very hard to find great centers and he seems like a future all star, but it might be too risky to give him this much in this stage of his career. Unrelated but Rockets are surprisingly doing good without him. After Sengun's injury, I thought season is almost over for Rockets. It will be a great success if they can make it to the play-ins.

Very competitive game for the wolves despite being undermanned. They manage to make it a close game despite Denver able to take control early. No 2 big men for the team, still they could almost get a win and could give another L for the Nuggets who loss to the Mavs from Irving's winning shot.

I agree that ANT is really good but honestly (no offense), this guy is not a clutch player, so probably 40% success rate only will be given to him based on my personal assessment.

Jokic really played it very well, no Gobert in the middle and so every opportunity they can get to have a switch and let a smaller Wolves guard him, it's automatic 2 points for him in the paint.

ANT just need to be clutch though, very emotional but he needs to cool down in the stretch. If he could only nail that 3, and force OT, the result might be different as it looks like they have the momentum already in that game. They just run out of time chasing the Nuggets in the last minute.
