Hopefully this all done now
in terms of this silent protest and the boycott will be out from the league.
Let's hope that it wouldn't be followed by any the same protest or issue that just happened. All is good and we're going to see a new set of games.

All at peace, well done to all of those who have expressed their protest and also to the NBA itself.

No protest can ever stop the NBA now, they have already agreed that they will finished the season.

It's the first day since the NBA resume after the protest, we can expect that the playoffs will continue without interruption.

In the games that has concluded today, Blazers and Magic are already out in the first round.

Games tomorrow.

Denver vs Jazz ( 2-3 ) if Jazz win, series is over.
Clippers vs Mavericks (3-2) If Clippers win, series is over.

Boston vs Raptors game 1 2nd round of the playoffs.

I like the Nuggets in this game.  I think the pressure for the jazz to close it out will be too much for them.  Got the nugs winning outright in this one so I might take the money line.  The over on this game looks good too.  Still have the nuggets winning this whole series

Wow, I believe you bet on the Nuggets to win the series?

Well, they can win, but Jazz but they are in disadvantage already, they need to win 2 games to advance in the second round but they can't do that if they will only rely on Jokic and Murray to carry the team, other players has to step us also like the Jazz have been doing, they are getting contribution from anyone, (Clarkson, Mitchell, Conley, and Gobert), you don't know who would explode among these players.

I believe even though the protests are not done just yet, I feel like this has made some sort of changes in the way NBA is approaching politics as a whole. We are talking about people who are actually taking the knee all together now, protesting the police brutality and all around registering to vote all together, they are now very very political and that is too important. We all know that NFL was too political as well, Kaep actually took the knee first and he was blacklisted, I agree that he wasn't the best player on earth but people who are worse than him actually got a contract whereas he didn't, he sued for this and even got a ton of money out of it as well.

So, right now NBA as a whole going to other direction that NFL took and from now on you can expect a lot more political stuff from NBA and I believe that is awesome.

Yeah, this is guaranteed.

Just in case another protest comes and there will be the concern again coming from the players. Before doing what they have to do.

They already know the answer and reaction of NBA.

That's indeed a good news considering it really made a headline for that temporary pause.

More like a precedented scenario, well, of course they got into both leaders of West and East. Lakers and Bucks has been humiliated by first game but look at that they still dominated it. LBJ was still undefeated in his playoff first round series.

After three days off, the 2020 NBA playoffs resume Saturday when the Milwaukee Bucks face the Orlando Magic.
Where does everything stand in the league now? And what's the latest on what will come next - both for this season and beyond?
Here's everything we know and don't know as games are set to start again: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29761983/what-know-know-nba-playoffs-restart
Well, the match between Bucks and Magic is done.

Very well done by Bucks.

118-104.

We have Bucks vs Heat for tomorrow.

Also the game between Houston and OKC and Lakers vs Blazers, moving now to the next stage of this playoffs. Hopefully this all done now
in terms of this silent protest and the boycott will be out from the league.
Westbrook did came game in game 5, though he struggle with his shooting but Harden was playing well so they dominated the OKC and this is a great win after losing 2 straight games. Hopefully Westbrook will be able to adjust in game 6.

Quote
There's incoming game between Clippers and Mavs, another great series to watch out, either it can be finished by Clips tomorrow or Mavs will try to extend it to final game 7.

Probably this series would also end soon as KP is out already in the playoffs.

What do you guys think of this,  Dallas did won 1 game without KP but can they extend the series to game 7?
They can but I think that will be the same as in Game 4 without KP on them, they win but that was too tight for them over that win. Luka is a great player an can carry a team there's always a possibility they can.

About Blazers, I don't want to ask questions as I believe series is already over now.
LeBron has never been defeated on a playoffs first round and I think that will still continue on it's streak.

Agree on both games.  Clippers led by Kawhi wasnt going to lose to luka.  Shame kp got hurt but even with him I think the clips are too powerful to have the mavs knock them off.

And as far as the lakers, there was never any real question if portland was going to knock them off.  Even with dame getting 40-50 points it still wouldn't matter, he can't carry the team by himself.  Lebron will move on as always

It is sad that KP will not play at all, I was hoping eventually KP would return and make the series a bit more competitive, the fact that he will not be playing with the team this year as a whole just unofficially gave the clippers the series already. Don't get me wrong even with him Clippers were the better team but when Doncic plays like a superstar he is and when PG13 just plays badly during playoffs, KP could make the difference between win or lose, even if not fully guaranteed, it is at least a possibility.

Now even with PG13 not playing well, Clippers is better than Mavs without KP, there was one game that was outlier but that happened only when PG played horribly and doncic played this awesome record breaking game from a sophomore. Lets see where this series will go but I think they will end it as soon as possible.

They are in a must win situation, and without Dame I doubt that they can upset the Lakers, so yeah it could be season over for them. And even if they got the win without Lilliard it is going to be a uphill climb for them. And for sure Lakers will want to win to have a good rest waiting for their next opponent.

After Dallas getting thrashed 154-111 I dont see them coming back from this embarrassment in their last game versus the Clippers. And with Paul George not even having a stellar night this Los Angeles team managed to just destroy them by more than 40 points. IN a playoffs game this goes to show you they dont have anymore fight in them.
With Lillard out for game 5 the portland trailblazers are done and dusted against a healthy and very strong Lakers side.
I watched both games right before the postponement of games starting happening and saw where both these teams mindset were and can't see that changing for these games commencing tonight.

Bad news for the Dallas Mavericks.

Kristaps Porzingis out for remainder of Mavs-Clippers series due to right knee injury

and for the Blazers

Lillard Out for Game 5 with Right Knee Injury

Looks like the series will end soon and Lakers and Clippers will advance in the 2nd round facing their respective opponents.

Lots of talk about canceling the season now. LeBron storming out of a meeting while the Lakers & Clippers both agree to cancel the season is bad news. I understand not wanting to continue providing an unappreciative community with your craft, but as a fan I’m extremely disappointed. They feel ownership isn’t doing enough to address problems in the community though and perhaps think that withholding their contribution to society is their only recourse.
Before, I thought that it's just for this day's game but it's crazy to think that the petition wants it for the whole season, that's just nuts.

From the updates that I've read, there will be a voting system and so far the majority wants to play. It is unofficial but I'm looking closely to the news.
Yeah! Apparently, it was these two LA team (Lakers and Clippers) who was against the idea of finishing the playoffs. Read more here. Dunno what differences they would make from cancelling the whole game into this issue except from voicing out again  Undecided. And it seems it will last even longer because almost all of them are in favor of this boycott stuff.

Of course they have the difference, it means they are voicing out to inform they are looking. They are NBA stars and they are informing everyone that they are not turning blind eye with all the happening. They are informing everyone that they are not just athletes but citizens too. Black people demanding for change and fairness.

Its more than just sports. If they are cancelling for the whole season maybe they are that disappointed with the happenings. It means the killings are just immeasurable for them to continue. And if you are more frustrated with the whole season getting cancelled than the killings and the message they want to be heard. I don't know what to say anymore. I wanted the season to continue too, but I prioritize their message to be heard.

And it doesn't deserve to be forgotten, it deserves to be remembered.

There is the difference that they can make from doing that and as you can see it has moved a lot of games and feelings of the NBA fans and even the management.

Moving back to game side, that's rally nice having WB back, additional offensive gun for Houston, game 5 is indeed important to
them as OKC already tied it up and making good blends of players inside. CP3 is doing what he's good with, plus all those role players
are contributing and doing their best to really compete and make it difficult for the Rockets.
