It seems that the game was going there but it didn't, a lot of turnovers and missed free throws for the Suns.

Anyway, congratulations to TWolves for sweeping the Suns that are going to pay hundreds of millions close to half to their three superstars for this result.

That's the risk of forming a Superteam, because when a team choose to build a Superteam, it's expected that they'll be in the championship but a first round exit, is a big disappointment. Giving up Ayton was a big mistake, he was a very dominant big man so they really miss a production on that area.

Also, the team has no real point guard, so the ball movement is really a problem. It's fine that CP3 was traded but the big man, I think it should have not happen. Also, Beal seemed not the same anymore, his injury have change his confidence, he is just like Klay Thompson now.
We have seen superteams that didn't succeed and disappointed their team management. There's certainly a big problem with these superteams nowadays.

That's why building from scratch is a good thing that some teams are doing like the Kings, Nuggets, Bucks although they've added some help through Lillard eventually.

I also agree that having no big man with the Suns is a big mistake.

This Suns vs Timberwolves game has been pretty close with plenty of lead changes. All the superstars are having great games. This one is fun to watch. Durant and KAT especially are having great games.

We watched a series that many people were waiting for. In the end, no one was surprised, everyone was saying that the Phoenix Suns had no chance against Minnesota. Actually, I thought the Suns would win at least 1 game, but they couldn't and we see a score of 4-0.
KAT played very well, the Minnesota team played a good team game. So the results were as expected Smiley

Before the series of this two teams started, it was a 50-50 chances for either team based on the betting odds that was release, in fact the Suns are even a slight favorite, probably due to their experience, you know, Durant and Booker, that's huge. However, when the Wolves take all the home games, that changes how people sees this series, especially when the Wolves beat the Suns in game 3, and they actually sweep this team which is a superteam.

Beal though, this year hasn't done anything to the Suns and for sure they are weighing their options but it seems Beal's contract is tight. Durant try to show us the old version of him, but ANT just dominated him in this series no doubt about that.

So Wolves are not a overrated team, Gobert and KAT in the middle is very hard for any team to content and then ANT, who is being mentioned now with the same breath as Michael Jordan. But let's see, this is just the first round, it's good that they will have a good rest while waiting for their potential opponent.

Beal is just really the problem of the team, he had some injury issues that made him out on some fo the games and when he is playing, his numbers are also not impressive. As we can see on his average this season, it dropped from 23.2 (wizards) to 18.2 (current team).

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/bealbr01.html

But like you mentioned, it's just a first round, we will see the next round if they'll be able to advance against the defending champion.

Yeah, very close.

Remaining time is 7:38 minutes in the 4th quarter and Edwards has got 20+ points and still a lot of time remaining. While Booker got 42 points.

This could be an OT later.

I was hoping for an OT but Suns could not convert their shots, the defense of Timberwolves is so good. Now, this team who exited will still be the same team next season, I wonder how the management would feel after investing a lot of money for the big 3 that they could not get a first round pick. They are getting old, and they lack players especially the 2nd unit who could help Durant and Booker, I don't know how they'll work that out next season but they have to.

A sweep!
Phoenix Suns is already out of the playoffs. Timberwolves is going to get into the semis and they're likely to face Denver Nuggets once they're done with the Lakers.
What a turn of event for the Coach of Timberwolves when Conley has jumped on him and hit him with his knee. While it's like a few minutes left on the game, their coach Chris Finch is injured but I hope that he does recover and it's nothing serious at all and they still have time to take a rest.
And with all of this seasons roster changes, KD with the Suns together with Booker and Beal as said to be a superteam, it seems that the Timbewolves is more of the superteam that we're all not expecting to come into this far. But what's next for KD? Is he going to make some transfer request and he'd sign back to the OKC as it's more of an interesting than the Suns for this playoffs.
They cannot just answer to the power of the Wolves. Defense and offense, in both ends the Wolves are dominating.
Well, I do like how optimistic the others are with the Phoenix Suns. Some do say that chemistry doesn't work in the first year a team is built. There are proofs of that including Lebron James going to the Miami Heat. They didn't win the first year he came there. Lebron is again in the LA Lakers, they had a hard time finding the right pair for him but when Davis came they got a championship in the bubble.
I do agree with all of this as chemistry is a big part of the team sport but I bet the Suns management is also looking for other players that would best help their new trio. I don't see it now, they need defensive players because it had been their weakness and that was witnessed in this playoffs.

They lose a defensive anchor when Suns throw Ayton away to other team and that's their biggest mistake done on their franchise. If they could able to make the big man stay then provably that they would get more impressive result this season. Their problem is who will be the dominant player among those 3 stars in team that's why they really have a problem with that and we see the result when they are totally get dominated by Wolves which is they are been dominated by the twin tower of that team.

I think its fine that they don't have a real point guard since their stars is capable to handle the ball but what they need is defensive or rebounder type of player since this could give them more rebounds which could possibly converted into score by their shooters.

It's better than the game ended that way so they will not expect anymore. Suns were able to limit ANT early but he exploded in the 2nd half where it's winning time. I don't see the Suns being hunger anymore, they don't play with great chemistry and it was really their defense which is a big problem.

Booker scored 49 and Durant had 33, but it's not enough because one of the big 3 Bradley Beal only score 9 points. Sorry to say but IMO, he has become a liability of the team, no wonder he got traded from his old team. So next season maybe one of the big 3 will be traded.

Losing in 4-1 record is better than losing in 4-0. They will still lose anyway because no teams  yet in the history of the NBA have come back from a 0-3 deficit. Yes, Durant and Booker really put up a good numbers but if we look at the full scoreboards, it's pretty evident that the bench have a very few contribution.

In fact, if we look again, only 2 players are in double digit for the Suns while the Timberwolves have 4. That's the evidence that the Suns are not moving the ball well or not playing like a team, so they can't really win.

Watched a few of the games so far tonight. Decent games. Was surprised seeing the Clippers take out the Mavs, and tying up the series. Definitely interested in how that series is going to end up. Then watched the Knicks and Sixers games a bit. Still kinda hard to believe the Knicks have been doing so well, especially getting a 2 seed. Will be interesting to see how these other games play out.

Playoff Paul George and Harden's Houston version show up in this game. It was George who carry them in the first half and then Harden's becoming a scoring like he was still in his Houston's day against the Warriors in the playoff.

So this series is evenly match as this point, and it's really hard to see who is going to win the series.

Kawhi is out, but still PG and Harden are good to match what Luka and Irving can do. They silence the Maverick crowd with this big win.

Not that I believe Lakers would win the series, I think the series has been long over for a long time now and next game will be at Denver, with that famous altitude, and I believe that Denver will end up winning that game.
There is no way to control the entire series but happy to see Lakers at least get that win instead of having a big egg on their standings with Denver Nuggets for each playoffs they face each other.

It is so hard to stop Murray and Jokic together, and they are doing so well now.
Still an underrated tandem that many of the NBA fans don't recognize. But as they say, this series is like to end with a 4-1.
Yes, they proved that they are the series winner from game number to game number 3.
Even Knicks versus 76ers, there's a 3-1 in the series. Especially the next game of Denver versus Lakers is in the home of Denver, such an advantage for game 5 or do or die game.

Clippers - Mavericks match is very competitive. If the Clippers win this game, the series will be 2-2, but if the Mavs manage to win at home, they will bring the series to 3-1 and pretty much finish the job. This could be the breaking match of the series. That's why it's very normal for both teams to put their hearts into the field. The Clippers, who score with George and Harden while Kawhi is out, also receive contributions from Westbrook. In the Mavericks, Kyrie and Doncic score a lot, but the rest of the team shoots very poorly.

Clippers won the game and got a break in Dallas. Now its 2-2 and i think we might see all 7 games in the duel. Dallas was able to comeback in the match but in the end they couldnt win the match. Harden played an amazing finish of the game and probobly won the Clippers the match with some clutch points.

Huge comeback by Dallas but still fail in the end. That was a 31 point lead by the Clippers they gave up, that might have hunt them if they loss in that game. Now the series is tied, and it's all because of Kawhi Leonard, LOL.. he didn't play on the games the Clippers had won, game 1 and 4, so it's an important decision if coach Lue will play him in game 5 if he is available. I believe if the Cliippers wants to win, they should stick with the current line up, they don't need a less than 100% Leonard in the game. I know Dallas will make an adjustment in game 5, so homecourt is not anymore an advantage here as either team had won a road game in this 4 games that was concluded.
