The Suns though will need to be consistent, they have one of the best scorer in KD and Booker, but it seems the something, like a good role players. Maybe they can make it to the playoff, but still there's no guarantee for them as the West is loaded.

Kings, after firing their head coach, seems to be doing good, perhaps it was a breathe of fresh air for them.

For the Warriors, Curry is getting older and so is Draymond, and the team is build differently when Klay left them, to be honest. When we thought that Buddy Hield could be a good addition to them, it's worst though.
We can't really blame Buddy Hield for that, Klay played with that team for so long, they really got used to each other, not only Klay memorized what the plays are, but also they memorized how they play together as well, so when he left, nobody would replace him, even a superstar, because it would take time to get used to each other, and to be fair Curry and Draymond do not have that much time left. So it is not Buddy issue, but more about how Warriors didn't want to max contract Klay, which was a mistake if you ask me.

I believe that we are going to see this changing soon though, they are getting more and more used to each other, this season could be bad, but next season could be a lot better for them without a doubt. At this point, they are not really going for a title, I do not think they could win one, it looks like a far fetch situation, they will probably just focus on doing as good as they can until Curry finally retires from basketball all together.

I’m really liking the Clippers now, especially with Leonard back. Even though he’s still on limited minutes, you can see his consistency in shooting especially that deadly mid-range game. Just hoping he stays injury-free, if Leonard stays healthy, I think the Clippers have a real chance to make it to the NBA Finals.

It made me reminisce about the old Suns with Steve Nash. He won twice the MVP but never had a championship. They are also an offensive team that relies mostly on Steve's assists.

Yep, the Suns were a very strong team when Nash was in his prime. However, they never had much luck in the playoffs, considering they reached the conference finals a few times but never made it to the finals.
Anyway, there is still a chance for Nash to win at least one ring, but only if he decides to resume and progress his coaching career.

Steve nash
Amare Stoudemire
Shawn Marion
Joe Johnson
Leandro Barbosa
BO Outlaw
Quentin Rchardson
and some benches..

They have a great team before and i really love watching the
steve to Amare. But still they did not get a ring, i really thought they can.

Suns need someone like marcus smart on their team.  Doesnt need to score to be an impact and can focus on defense.  Suns are built around scoring and it just doesnt work long term.  They will always be better than average but will have a difficult time in long series where teams can scheme defense against their shooters.

Currently, Defensive team is the one that leading the NBA when it comes to winning. Most of the team now has strong 3 points shooting capability after the GSW era use this strategy to dominate the league.

But right now having a strong offensive skills is already not enough to win the game if the opponent defense is strong that makes shooter missed while can still score at the same time.

Suns need to rebuild their Roster and start adding players with D rather than pure shooting that sometimes has low accuracy,

Hard to image the Suns need to rebuild when the have Booker and KD, but I think they rushed things to get them help with Beal who turned out to not be so great. Their last hope is to somehow offload Beal to the Lakers and pickup Jimmy Butler. Otherwise I think they might need to blow up the roster and start over.

I like this! Hopefully, they can get some good role players, and it would be even better if they have playoff experience. It’s a huge advantage to have someone who’s been there before as they tend to make smarter decisions in critical moments, especially if the team makes it to the playoffs.
I am actually excited. I just found it in a recent article by CBS.

I agree with this. The PJ Tucker type, the KCP type, or Bruce Brown. Those players don't care about their score as long as they can put some pressure on their opponents and they are paid better because of those specialties. The Suns is a pure offensive team and it only works if there's a good play set by the coach. All they can do is answer back all the offense thrown to them and if they miss, that becomes a problem.

It made me reminisce about the old Suns with Steve Nash. He won twice the MVP but never had a championship. They are also an offensive team that relies mostly on Steve's assists.

Anyway, the Clippers won again and they are now on their 4th winning streak. With Leonard back, it will be difficult to defeat this team again.

Great win by the Suns over the home team Detroit. I thought that they are going to lose this game as it is a very very close. But KD took over the 3rd and the 4th quarter and it looks like he is on the mission right now.

First game by Nick Richards who was acquired from the Hornets and he had a immediate impact on the game, with a huge debut finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds. While KD and Booker combine with 71 big points, as KD had 36 and then Booker with 35.

They are still way below in the standings though, with the Kings, them and then the Warriors supporting with a 21-20 record.

The Phoenix Suns is not doing good this month. Even they have a good roster and getting healthy they continue to lose, congrats on their W over Detroit though.

About the Kings they are doing great and im sure they will be playing the Play-offs while the Golden states is at risk.

If the performance of the GSW will continue and will not be better soon, they will end up 11-13th spot this year.

Detroit is back to the losing mode. They need that energy back when they are playing the last few weeks. They are still in the 8th spot but they must secure it in case they do play in the tournament and they will only need 1 win to advance in the playoffs. But I can say the frustration of their fans is a bit minimized, unlike last year when the fans were yelling to sell the team. Grin

The Suns won but the Pistons made it hard for them. Truly, Cunningham was the key to making the Pistons better again but they need more good roleplayers surrounding him because he is also a good passer. Let's see if the Pistons will move some before the trade deadline. According to rumors, they are a potential buyer before the deadline.

Not an easy win for the Suns unlike before when playing against Piston, now they are really playing good competition and like what you mentioned Cunningham needs additional role players who can adds up though Tobias also adding something but to continue winning games they need someone who can give them decent numbers both defense and offense, as of now they still have that place to move forward they just need to push more wins and play as competitive as possible to reached the playoffs..

Their loss cost me some money, I really thought they’d win and bounce back after their previous loss. Now they’re on a 2-game losing streak. But it’s all good since they’re not really expected to be a playoff team anyway. Their ranking is still pretty impressive, though. Maybe next time, I’ll back them again regardless of who they’re up against.

With Jokic back on Nuggets plus full line-up I guess Heat even with Jimmy Butler can’t handle Nuggets with their current roster. They even put Highsmith and Robinson as starter  on this year line-up while they failed to beat Nuggets before on much better line-up and on fire Jimmy Butler.

It’s a complete mismatch. However, it’s indeed good to see that Butler is using his remaining time on Heat by helping them since he is getting paid which might backfire him in the future in case he will be traded.

Butler is a professional. He said as much after the game in his postgame interview. He said even if he doesn’t get traded by the deadline, he is going to come out and play his best every night. At the end of the day the guy already has plenty of money. He’s playing for his legacy at this point and he wants to be out there doing his best.

Well that's great for showing professionalism to teams who trust him and he didn't show any jerk like attitude the same with other big star when they want to get traded to other team.

I guess Jimmy just want best for his career since he knows that he's not getting younger anymore. Provably its not about the money now and for sure he's chasing for a ring since its good to retire that he get this achievement since he became always relevant on the discussion if he retire a champion. No doubt he's so talented and lets see which team he could get those rings that he wanted.

Right, I think at this point in his career, he is thinking that he should be getting a ring at least. We all know that he has his chance already, not saying that he blew it, but it's not enough for the Heat that time to win against the Lakers or the Celtics.

So he has to go what he think is best for him and that is to go to a team that has better chance. And we all know that the can still add something to that time. Perhaps he will give himself like 2-3 years at least to for that dream. Otherwise, after that, Father time will have to catch up with him and his game are going to regress as some point.

Reports say that Jimmy Butler will be back to play with the Heat against the Nuggets.

It will be interesting to see how the team or how he will perform tonight as there was a lot of drama on Jimmy and he says that he is not enjoying his time with them. And so there could be some tensions in the dugout.

So let's see how it goes, they are facing a good team in the Nuggets and they are somewhat the underdog in their homecourt.

Denver Nuggets managed to win the game. Miami Heat is not very strong this year, it was good to see Butler supporting the team on the court again. But the Denver Nuggets played very well, Jokic and his friends came out willingly as if they were in a playoff game.

Butler contributed 18 points to the team in this match. His remaining statistics are not very good, someone who wanted to leave the team could only perform this much

At least he can still show those interested team that he still got it, and not the Butler that is way pass his prime already. So still a win win for him, come to play every night and shows his fans that he still can ball and then bring win to the Miami Heat and see how it goes for him.

So still being a professional, unlike other players like Harden when he wanted to get out of the Houston Rockets contract or when he is with the Nets and seeing that the team is going nowhere, decided to ditch them and not playing 100% all the time. So still a mystery to us where he will land to, for sure there are negotiations already being done and Pat Riley is more willing to trade Jimmy regardless of his recent performance.

One game cannot change anything and if Zion will be consistent to perform like that maybe they might think twice for trading him.

He just need to prove that he's not pure hype and Zion still a reliable superstar on their team.

They better keep Ingram and McCollum since they are good contributor for their team. Maybe what they need is to build solid role players. But let see what will happen to Pelicans this season if they would really do a big move and start on rebuilding their team again.

I think it has already been proven that he is pure hype. We never saw him have a really big game consistently unlike when Lebron and Carmelo were hyped during their rookie and sophomore years. Those two showed something that is hard to explain. At an early age, they already shook the NBA and the expectation was so damn high afterward.
I am not even watching the Pelicans anymore after injuries happened to that young guy. He has the talent and the skill, there's no doubt about that but all those injuries are his curse and that weight problem seems like a difficult thing for him.
Anyway, let's face it, they won't make the playoffs. 11 wins out of 43. We are now halfway and there's no spark coming out. They may have defeated the Jazz but they will not defeat strong teams. Perhaps they will need to recalibrate their team.

I agree to that, when both LeBron and Melo begin their respective careers they really shown up greatness I use to remember those years when Melo challenging Kobe it was a nice competition from a rookie, he's not backing down and really challenging the black Mamba and same deal with LeBron as he manage to carried his team to win the east side a rookie sensation who created his legacy during his first season inside NBA.

Zion's hype was done long time ago, like what you've said even they win some games and even Zion will play decently the chance to move forward is no longer possible, the next ound is nearing and those super teams are now working harder to get that chance to move to the playoffs winning against them will be a tough task to accomplished.
