^ Ya, the 3 point shooting performance from the Miami Heat was something else tonight. Boston didn’t have much of a chance against a shooting barrage like that. It isn’t very often you see a team shoot over 50% from three point range. If that’s what it’s going to take for them to win the next game, that’s a tall order…

Yes, the number of three-point attempts and makes by the Heat in this game is impressive. On the one hand, I'm surprised that the Heat without Butler were able to tie the series against the Celtics. On the other hand, even before the playoffs, there was speculation that the Heat could be a nasty surprise for their playoff opponents, and the result of this game confirms it.

Lakers 0-2 vs Denver, Miami 1-1 vs Celtics.

What's happening here? I think Lebron has to get in touch with Coach Spo and ask him one more time to join the Miami Heat for him to get a ring. Who expected that win by Miami in game 2? No one.. That's how good coach Spo was, if Lebron stayed with Miami, there's a big chance that he'll get more rings but he thought he doesn't trust the coach anymore after giving him 2 championships.

I can say now that currently, it's coach Spo is the best coach in the NBA.

Thunders leading by double digits at the end of the first half? Do you think it's going to be as close as game 1? I personally doubt the Pelicans have anyone that will change the course of this game. Ingram is having another bad night so far while McCollum looked to be struggling as well. The Thunders will likely blow them out completely in the third quarter.

I won't say that they've choke, yeah, they build a early lead and it was eaten slowly by the Nuggets. But they were able to stay in the game, albeit, AD was in foul trouble. But Lebron did try to rally the team, but it's wasn't meant for them as Murray had the last say. If they lost like in the 4th quarter and then the Nuggets won big then yeah you can call it choke.

But it was tied and they could have go to OT and maybe the outcome could be different. Now, it's need to survived and win game 3 to stay in this series, otherwise as I have said, it could be 4-1 for the Nuggets.
Analyzing that game, I'm seeing a lot of blame to Lebron and Darvin Ham. This only shows the love of the fans to Lakers and they want to see them move on to the semis.

A lose is a lose and Nuggets was just too good and composed with it. They've been into these kinds of situations and also with the Lakers but we can see on how AD is a valuable guy to the team.

He's made a lot of points but when he's got into foul trouble, we've seen them that they've become like limited.

4-1 is also what I am seeing a lot of people saying.
I think man for man, it could be a split 50/50 between the two teams. But in the end, the Lakers failed to protect their lead and execute their plays. There are even moments that James look frustrated, but he still managed to go and the game was closed. That is the heart of the champion, Nuggets shows composure and we have seen that championship DNA in them in this two games as the Lakers will take the lead and then they make a huge comeback and then this winning shot by Murray. 4-1? Maybe, it will all depend on the next game at Lakers homecourt. Darvin Ham should show his strength here as a coach as a exit in this playoff could also mean that he will have to find another coaching job somewhere.

I'm also seeing that possibility, if the Lakers failed again this season chances that coach Ham will be replaced, they've got everything that they need to support LeBron and AD but still they unable to move forward, though I don't want to conclude as the series still alive, Lakers just need to win, they almost snatch that win but they collapse in the last few minutes of the game and with the determination from Nuggets they manage to overrun the Lakers and complete the rally to win the game.

The Miami Heat just pulled the biggest upset since the start of the playoffs. I wonder what will be the mental effect of this defeat to Tatum and Brown. I thought Boston will win both home games and might lose 1 or 2 in Miami. But here we are again, Miami stealing a road game. The tough Miami mentality might once again make a huge upset by beating Boston in their series.

Breaking down the game, it's really effective when Miami scattered their offense and not just focus on Herro. Adebayo should continue pushing like this and not limit his offense even when the defense is tight. Boston might remain favorites even at Miami, especially without Butler.

Those raining 3's again is the best weapon of Miami, we are witnessing them again using this offensive arsenal, it's tough to adjust when the ball is rotating so well plus the defense is really giving Boston a hard night, though still far in concluding the possible outcome but now for sure it added excitement especially for the Heat's fans, let see what adjustment will be for Boston and what counter adjustment for Miami playing at home.

It was raining at the TD Garden but it's the Heat dropping treys. Taking 43 shots from deep and making 23 of them is pretty good. Another thing to note in Heat's series tying win is that Caleb Martin finally showing up.

I didn't think they could steal one game to be honest so I didn't even bother to check the ML odds and spread. Did you get lucky with your bets?

Malik Monk losing to Naz Reid for the 6th man of the year,

It's probably because Monk

> didn't make the full game, I mean he got injured
> Sacramento didn't make it to the playoffs

But in terms of numbers and then the impact to his team, I will give it to Monk.

Reid though is doing good and putting numbers as well specially in the 3 point area wherein he is shooting 41%++.

Malik Monk losing to Naz Reid for the 6th man of the year,

https://twitter.com/NBAPR/status/1783266894952218706

It was a close voting though, if only those who voted for Powell or Bobby Portis go to Monk, he could have won it already.

Stats of Monk was insane coming from the bench,

• Most PTS off the bench
• Most AST off the bench
• Most 20-point games off the bench
• Most 25-point games off the bench
• Most Clutch PTS, FGM, 3PM off the bench

I think the Celtics probably take this series over the Heat easily and tonight should be another step towards that. Nothing too surprising expected there. The New Orleans game should be a little more interesting, as that team should be rested finally after the play-in tournament. No Zion and an angry BI makes it a tough road ahead for them though.

The Celtics have great chance, especially if the Miami Heat don't change their game. And if Jimmy Butler plays the Miami Heat might secure at least one win. I also believe the Celtics will win this series, unlike what happened to the Miami Heat last season that they upset the East number 1 seed. Right now, the Celtics still have the highest odds of becoming the champions this NBA season. Still reasonable odd IMO.
If there is still no Jimmy for their game 2, this is for sure another game for the Celtics. That's always been the agitator whenever they face in the playoffs.
As for the odds, that's obvious because there's lesser confidence that the Heat will win this game but still, if you're a fan of theirs and you've got some reasons to bet on them then let's all just watch and say good luck to the Heat.

Even with Jimmy I think the game would go to Boston. Miami just doesn’t have enough to beat them this year. With the game kicking off now on TNT, I’m expecting we see the Celtics take a 2-0 series lead and begin thinking about their next matchup, which I suspect will be against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

We should wait until game 3 is over, that's the best chance the Lakers could win because they are at home and they have the crowd to support them. I'm also betting on the legacy of Lebron because it doesn't look good if Lebron got swept again by the Nuggets which he is a hall of famer and even in the discussion on being a GOAT. I know the momentum is on the Nuggets but in the last 2 games, they Lakers had control at the start they just failed in the end which is something they have to figure out how to improve.
LeBron has proven many times throughout his career that he is one of the best players in the history of the NBA. So, even if the Lakers lose the upcoming game, it won't change anything regarding LeBron's greatness on the court. Just keep in mind the fact that no matter how great and versatile a player is, he can never win a championship by himself.
This is definitely the saddest part. People are overreacting and suddenly saying that Lebron isn't the greatest, and sure I can understand not putting him at number one, which I would put him at this point easily, he has been number one plenty of times before for me, but lets assume that you don't put him there, everyone MUST put him at their top three, this dude has 40k-11k-11k and 5 titles and 20 seasons of all star and many MVP's (some he got robbed) and he is doing insanely well.

I have to say that at nearly 40 years old, he could lose, that's normal and with a team that has only AD helping him, it is not a shocker that they are losing to the champions, why would that be weird, Nuggets and Jokci is at their peak prime right now.

Agreed top 3 I can agree on.  For me it's jordon, kobe (don't argue with me), and then lebeon.  I know he's old but killer instinct of the GOAT would have driven that ball and at least gotten fouled.  A 3 pointer even though it was open is not his strong suit especially at the end of the game.  Nobody can stop a wide open drive from him.  That's the difference kobe and jordan male you pay on that game sealing play.

Crazy game 2 between the Lakers and the Nuggets. Everyone thought the Lakers are gonna steal the game 2 as they lead 20 pts at some pt in the 3rd quarter, but the Nuggets didn't give up, was able to establish momentum in the 4th. Though they did not take the lead, but Murray just made a buzzer beater to beat the Lakers by 2 pts.
Man, it looks like the Lakers really stand no chance against the Nuggets. They have not won against them for 2 years straight now lol.
Davis was almost perfect in the 1st half but totally disappeared in the 2nd half.
It looks the Lakers' chance to win this series is by miracle lol.

That game is so crazy, it made me scream so much in the house that I did not eat for the entire day LOL. It is just very frustrating to see them lose in the worst possible way. If it was a close game, it would be fine for me, but they choked! They had a 20-point lead in the 3rd quarter, but after that, everything went downhill. They're questioning the officiating, saying that the game is fine, but still, they should've adjusted to the game and didn't let the calls affect them. After getting the 20-point lead, they get complacent and comfortable; they try to play slow always and want to burn the clock that much; also, there are some plays where it is always isolation and ends up a missed shot, and Nuggets will start the fast break and get the point. At this point, I really believe that coaching is one aspect that the Lakers front office should look into. It's always like that: the Lakers have a great first half, then lose it all in the second.

That's the real definition of what happened ot the lakers in game 2, "THEY CHOKED".....

I was already expecting they'll be able to steal one game on the road because of their great game, that 20 point lead slowly diminish because they didn't make the right adjustment when the Nuggets did. this is getting similar to what happened to them last season, but I'm hoping somehow I'm wrong because I don't want to see Lebron unhappy with the Lakers that might make him decide to leave this team. I guess I would go all in in game 3.

I think I lose faith in them winning a series against the Nuggets. They might steal one game at home as they might have figured out something or it's just the Nuggets played bad in the 3rd quarter. I also think the Lakers should've replaced their coach already, I am surprised he stayed this long considering how good his team was but only his decisions always messed up. Darvin Ham had a lot of bad timeout decisions and bad rotations, he don't even know how to utilize his individual player's potential.
I don't know why they stopped getting AD more ISO plays and getting more involved offensively in the 4th quarter when he was red hot in the first half, but yeah they just choked so hard. Everyone else disappeared when it matters the most they're missing shots.
I was right when I thought the Lakers may still lose the game at some point in the 3rd quarter when they got a 18pt lead, because the Lakers are known to be a bad closer especially against a top caliber team like the Nuggets.
