Domantas doesn't play for the US; he plays for Lithuania, a European team. Another notable player that played for that team is Jonas Valanciunas of the Pelicans, but yeah, having a Sabonis-type player on the US team is really a great help for the team. But I think most of the players included are deserving of being there. It is a combination of young and seasoned veterans, as well as a mixture of offense and defense, so I think this team is complete and ready to avenge the US in the Olympics. A player that I am questioning here is Embiid. I know that he is 30 and, of course, he also wants to win a gold medal in his career since it is a good accolade for him, but playing for the US? I mean, he's from Cameroon, so he should be representing that country. But with him living in the US for half of his life and having his son as an American citizen, I think it is fair to say that he is good at playing for the US.

I don’t like AD to be on this line-up since Embiid is already enough. Only the chemistry will decide if this team will work or flop since other international team has a lot of training together compared to this US team that has a limited time to workout for their chemistry.

Embiid is enough? I don't think so. I hope you have realized that the only legitimate Center on this line up is only Embiid and Davis. If you say Bam Adebayo, well he is undersized for a Center position, he will not match the European players who plays at the Center position. If you say Embiid is enough, who's gonna occupy the Center position in the 2nd unit?
Now, as for the team chemistry, I don't think they'll have a major problem about it. I mean these players are an elite players who has the talent to understand how the game works and how it's supposed to work, they have played each other for several years, reviewing tapes after tapes to try to read their moves and the way they play. They are the superstars in each team, they knew the style of play they play on the court.
Also, how do we know if the other international teams have spent more time in trainings that the US do? When these international players who also has their own league they played.

I love this confidence from Anthony Edwards and I agree with him. He’s 100% the best young talent in the NBA right now and if he can keep his head on straight and continue trying to get better, I don’t see how anyone could be better.

"I'll be the best player in the NBA in about two to three years."

- Anthony Edwards
It's possible, I just hope that he won't get that career destroying injury just as what happened to the many aspiring greatest players but then, lost it all when they've contained it. And speaking of him, congratulations to him for being part of the Team USA.

Team USA has released their roster for the upcoming 2024 Olympics.

LeBron James
Stephen Curry
Kevin Durant
Joel Embiid
Devin Booker
Jayson Tatum
Anthony Davis
Tyrese Haliburton
Anthony Edwards
Jrue Holiday
Bam Adebayo
Kawhi Leonard

Who do you think should have been there?

These members are too good enough for the team US and maybe we can see a good play in this time. Cause other countries have a good team as well like Serbia, France , and Canada these teams are  very good as well but my prediction in this are if the team US will loss then they will behind not exceed in 25 points but I think team US will fight for the finals.  As we all know the capabilities of the players this time. Even though they don't have enough chemistry but veterans moves is there.

This team is more than ready to avenge team US. Even if you only choose 6 players with their respective roles and add decent bench players that doesn’t have a star power is already enough to dominate the olympics since too much star might overwhelm each other that might be the reason to limit their full potential.

I don’t like AD to be on this line-up since Embiid is already enough. Only the chemistry will decide if this team will work or flop since other international team has a lot of training together compared to this US team that has a limited time to workout for their chemistry.

Brunson maybe for Kawhi but I'm thinking, they will be lacking forwards if they will remove Kawhi that's why they gave the final spot to him.

TBH, I can't think of any US players that can replace any of those chosen because that's pretty stacked up already. The starting 5 is already good. My projected starting 5 would be James, Curry, Durant, Embiid and Edwards. Their second 5 is pretty stacked up as well. I don't think that other countries will defeat this roster of the US anymore. They're like "It's our turn already. It's been many years since we won our last gold." I don't think that any country can defeat this "Revenge" team as they call. Maybe the countries that can come close are Serbia, Canada, Lithuania, and France.

Just to add. When they won their last gold medal, the average gap between the US and their opponent in terms of points is around 30 PPG. I'm not saying that it will happen again, but there's a chance that this US team will defeat other countries with a gap of at least 10 PPG. That's how pretty stack this team are. I just hope that other countries are prepared for this one.

As for Paul George, I agree on this one but the roster's been lock and good luck to USA team to the Olympics.

Yeah, he deserved a spot as after his serious injury, got healed and has been playing still like his prime. PG13 could add more depth on the team USA but the current roster are strong enough to bring home the gold. They don't want to make the same mistake again like what happen during the FIBA world, now they are gonna send the NBA's best players (USA ONLY) to ensure a win.

as we can see on the betting odds, team USA is still the heavy favorite with -500 odds, follow by Serbia with +750, but there's a huge difference.

Still, I'm betting on the Miami Heat and I'm glad to take them as the underdog to win straight up.

I like that trust on your team, Miami has played a decent games even without Jimmy, so they're good, they might loss but they'll not gonna out their on the court without a fight. We know that "heat culture" , right? Coach Spo gonna dig all the potential of his players and bring that out on their last game in the season. Miami's gonna make the same journey last season while Jimmy is resting to heal that injury and be prepared for the playoffs.
Still, I don't like that they have always been in this position. Same as last year. But they did come out as the Eastern Conference champions. The only difference is, they don't have Lowry now, so I want someone to step up his game like Lowry did last year. Duncan Robinson didn't play in their last game but his status now is probable so I guess he will play later, they will need that.
I bet for the Chicago Bulls against the Atlanta Hawks but I will not do that same thing against Miami, yes, I am rooting for the Miami Heat in this game.

For the Western 8th spot.
Pelicans versus Kings. I feel the strength of the Kings against the Warriors game and Coach Brown was so good at his coaching style. I think I will be betting for the Kings on this game as Zion is out for that left hamstring strain. Injuries are part of the game but it's sad to see it happen at this crucial time of the season.

After the injury he suffered while playing for the Olympic team, he really should have a lifetime offer to be on this team. Zion would be a nice addition too but I think he’s too young and doesn’t have his priorities right yet.
While I know that Sabonis is a good player and no doubt with that but I don't think that he'll be eligible to play for the Team USA as he's played for Lithunia, CMIIW. As for Paul George, I agree on this one but the roster's been lock and good luck to USA team to the Olympics.

Even if Butler is not available they have reliable guys that can fill his absence they had Bam which can dominate inside and Jacquez jr which can give perform well if needed also their reliable shooter Robinson and Herro which can also punish their opponent team on perimeter then and the rest is reliable players so we cannot really say that they are done since their star is out. So for sure we can see them perform so good and they have a lot of experience on crucial games and they are dangerous opponent for that. We see them knocked off the hot Bucks before and they are still capable to do that on their opponent. I'm considering to placing some bet on Miami since it will add the fun watching important games with bet placed.

Well, if your trust is with Miami I'm going to agree that it will adds up the fun since it's really a big challenge playing in a crucial game without Jimmy, but like what you mentioned, Bam and the rest are also capable and always playing with high level of competitions when the challenge is really tough, plus, coach Spo's good system executing it will be test as they need to have that full confidence against DeRozan's bulls.

Let see if how both teams will perform and who among the two will move forward and play against the top seeded Boston.

Different though when you don't have the leader of your team in the floor. Yeah, there's Bam and Herro, but gonna be hard for them if the other side is 100% healthy and doesn't want to missed the opportunity to get in the playoff. But they are the slight favorite against the Bulls, so maybe the betting public still believes that the Heat is going to win. For the Kings vs Pelicans, the Kings is not the favorite because as reported, Zion is out, just a bad time for him to really get injured and he is the leader of the Pelicans and it's hard for him to watch at the sideline.

No Jimmy Buckets!  Undecided

Jimmy Butler officially ruled out of Friday's do-or-die Play-In game vs. Bulls

We're waiting for him this play-in and then he's got injured for the very first game. This MCL sprain on his right knee really, come on. We know how he changes and puts himself into beast mode every play-in/playoffs that they're going.

I guess that there's no more threat to the Celtics with this news. But with the Bulls, as they'll be the one for their next matchup, everyone is going to put money on the line for the Bulls.

They might I just wouldn't count out the Heat.  Not that Jimmy isn't the biggest part of that team but you never know in one and done games.  One cold streak by either team and you can lose.  Like the regular season when good teams lose to bottom feeders.  That's where 7 game series come in play.  Over time the best teams win but one and done I hate betting.

The postseason seems to have gotten off to a rough start for some teams. First, Zion is out due to injury, and now Butler is out for a few weeks. Speaking of the Heat, I'm still inclined to think that they can hardly do anything against other teams without Butler. Moreover, Rozier will also be out for the upcoming game versus the Bulls.

Too bad for the Miami Heat but I wouldn't underestimate their capability of winning as I've seen many times in the regular season that they are winning games even without Jimmy Butler.  This is the time for everyone to step up, no Jimmy so everyone should get involved and the ball should be moving well.

Still, I'm betting on the Miami Heat and I'm glad to take them as the underdog to win straight up.

he can be if he stay healthy, but sorry for him because as long as Jokic and Doncic are their which could average an easy double double, Edwards could not win an MVP even if he had so many impressive highlights. Jordan on his time, he doesn't  average like Luka or Jokic but clearly he was the best player.

his average this season.

PTS    TRB   AST
25.9   5.4  5.1

Luka
33.9   9.2  9.8

Jokic
26.4  12.4 9.0

not even close TBH.

Yeah, even if he wants to earn a bit from that. It's unwise to choose his own game for it, this happens in every sport but I guess that he had already accepted the fact that this might happen and it did.

With that lifetime earnings that he's got with the Raptors, he cannot get that with gambling because he's only betting for his own game and will do everything to just lose it.

$20K compared to the entire career earnings or his salary monthly.

Its really crazy decision and don't know what that guy think  when he do that. He can just easily earn big money in NBA but he just waste it for just for small profit and short time pleasure to have when he possibly win on his place bets. Now for sure that this guy will regret his decision since he can't earn big amount of money on other league. Also there are so many players around the world that dream to reach on NBA but he just waste his opportunity and now he receive a lifetime ban on this league.

For sure that player would regret his decision that he change his career to a $20k bet and this will be a huge warning to other player that they should not follow what this player did since this could ruin their career forever and be place on big shame because of stupid things he made.
He's ready to retire I guess. While most of the NBA players want to stay in the league and make more money and retire with a legacy, he didn't want it.

He wants quick money and then retires with a sad ending but it's a forced retirement because he can no longer play in the NBA. I also doubt it that he'd be hired back even for some back end jobs for the team that he's played with.

He had ruined his reputation with what he's done and it's true that he's going to regret it forever.
