What a game for Los Angeles Lakers! They managed to take down Utah Jazz. I don't know about you but, I am a guy that uses more of my time surfing on the net and looking what's funny in social media. At one time, I saw that people are counting shots of LeBron that was blocked. I believe at that time, it was only 16? And at this game LeBron was blocked by Donovan Mitchelle with some anger. On an interview on their last game, the reporter asked LeBron James what was the problem with the first game? He just answered that there were no problems. And there you go, the second game says it all.

Although there are a lot of turnovers. They even managed to get a 22 point lead but it was down to 13 when LeBron stepped out his foot in the court. Almost a triple-double for him though. I hope that they can keep up this type of game. And Troy Daniels, wow he's a good addition to the Lakers with his three-point ability.

Bad decision for the Jazz to trade their players for Mike Conley, he is an aweful shooter now, he shoot 3-11 in this game and I think he shot a very bad percentage in the 1st game as well.

Its 2 games into the season, Conley is not a bad player.  People can have a coue bad games.  If it doesnt change by mid season then there might be something there.  They needed a point guard and mike gives them that.  There are players from every team that had a bad 1 or 2 games so far, it's an 82 game season no need to panic

You can't blame Jazz in trading for Mike Conley. The dude is a 15 pts+ a game and it's still the first game. Anything can happen in the next games.

However, I'm more in seeing Donovan Mitchell bringing the ball to the other side. In simple terms, being the point guard of the team. If you can try and observe him, he's more efficient if he'll take that position even more. The best example for this is when Rubio was absent on a playoff game vs the Rockets, that's the time where he takeover Rubio's position and that game was the only game they won of the series.

Have you ever thought that Trae Young is evolving this season? Is it just because of their current roster is stronger than last season?

On the other hand, I think Draymond was really affected by the sudden change in roster and rotation, he was like the source of hype before.
Just like the Lakers when they loss in their first game and we judge them but they come back strong  to win in their 2nd game and it was Lebron who took in charge of the scoring.

About the Warriors, they are a champion team and they have a pride, one loss is not enough to judge them this season although they loss Durant permanently and Thompson temporarily, I am pretty sure they will adjust and bounce back so check them out in their 2nd game.

Let's see if the GSW still has the caliber they once had before. Most of the team adjust to the way they play against the warriors but they seem to be relying still on their type of plays. I think GSW needs another play aside from living and dying on threes.

It's hard to change their style because its where they are successful many times already, they won championship several times because of their good 3 point shooting. The only problem now is they loss a very consistent 3 point shooter of Klay Thompson, (yeah, I know Durant is good also but let's exclude him in the discussion) but Klay's injury is not as serious as Durant and he is expected to be back in the line up this early next year so warriors needs to hold on, win some and loss some so they will not be so down in the ranking.

They still have Steph Curry to lead them, so definitely they can still contend for this season, although Clippers and Lakers are much a better team today. Steve Kerr has anchor the team to championships so for sure they can also adjust and make new plays based on the current roster.

It's just one lost, the better team wins in the end. Steph will be Steph no matter what, he had lead this team for many years and I'm sure he will continue to do so.

They will have plenty of time to analyze their first loss and their next game will be against the OKC which is not a good team this season as they lost PG and Westbrook, I think the Warriors will be able to have their first win against the OKC here, I also like to put my bet on it but the odds is not yet available, I am expecting the Warriors to be the favorites here.

KT will not be playing this season. It is time for Curry to prove his true worth or the warriors will tank this year.

Steph Curry is the heart and soul of the Golden States franchise. He has already proven himself as a worthy GSW franchise player of all time. His 3 rings says it all.

Anyway, I have to agree that Warriors will be close to tanking this year if they cant find a way to figure out how they will be able to play effectively without Klay.

One more thing that I noticed.
Seems like Russell is trying to be the star of the team. Although he is shooting quite well they must execute the play to avoid being predictable.
That is how GSW plays and it works for so many times. Rotating the ball and finding the man which is free then back to ISO.
Draymond needs to step up too. I dont know what he is changing in his style but it seems like he loss his touch.
Back then, it was almost a triple double for every game he plays including couple of blocks.

Though I dont want to judge them but some team are already stepping up and are giving their all every game.

D.Lo had an amazing season in Brooklyn and I think he's just want to continue his talent at the bay. Though he''s scoring quite well, but It would take much fg % for him to score that much. I think he's like under .400 fg%.

On the other hand, I think Draymond was really affected by the sudden change in roster and rotation, he was like the source of hype before.

Mike Conley again played like crap, his 3 pts shooting in these 2 games has been horrendous, 1-11, while he is solid shooter, 37.4% career average. But is still early in the season, i am sure that he will figure things out, he is quality player.
Indeed, he is a really good since he is one of the key players for Memphis way back then. But I'm not expecting what he did, the numbers he produced were too low. The quality of his performance here in Jazz diminished so bad maybe because he is not yet finished adjusting. However, if this will continue then he and his team is at risk.

Easy win by Lakers, Jazz didn't have chance. Mike Conley again played like crap, his 3 pts shooting in these 2 games has been horrendous, 1-11, while he is solid shooter, 37.4% career average. On top of that, Bojan Bogdanovic missed the game due light injury in the first game, so no wonder that it was comfortable win by Lakers.

It's tough for GSW to find the right combo since Klay is not just a offensive but also a big help of defending star player, Without him and Iggy GSW won't be able to effectively execute the saem old plays that they've got.

It's coach Kerr to find ways how he will rotate he's new selections, since KT ain't be there for them. Curry needs to maximize what He have
for this season and show the leadership that this team needed from hi,.

Can I know how long will Klay Thompson is out? It's very unlikely for him to play for this 2019-20 season as I've read in a article that Steve Kerr said it's really hopeless for Klay as he will have an undergoing surgery in July 2020.

KT will not be playing this season. It is time for Curry to prove his true worth or the warriors will tank this year.

Warriors played really well for their game today. I can imagine how they'll be still the tough team having Klay Thompson in the court, but that's not gonna happen yet as he out for this season. Both offense was tremendous performance, but as I've seen in this game that warriors defense was quite the weak spot today's game, they should capitalize it.
Curry has a lot of turnovers, I think D'Angelo didn't score in the second quarter and was able to get points in the third quarter, their defense is very poor, so that's one thing they need to improved at. Because if they don't teams are going to exploit that.

No need to question Curry though, he already proven his worth as a true leader, with or without Durant. He even allow Durant to shine during those time that he is on the team.

Steph has been the heart and soul of Golden State Warrior, no question about that. It's that there are new players around him today, they are the third youngest team in the lead so that says it all. They are fairly young so adjustments are needed by Steph and Kerr here.

I seen reports saying that Curry will have a year comparable to Harden's MVP award. The reasoning is that there's no more KD and the scoring load will be handle by him again, so he will lead this team no doubt about that.

Clippers blowned out warriors with a winning score of 141-121. It was D'Angelo Russle debut game that he made 20 points and 8 assists, not bad looking at all.

Warriors is literally lacking on defensive that gives clippers easy points, size matter at all and where talking Kawhi Leonard whos needs to guard each entire players in the court. Clippere dominated it again without PG and Chris Smoove. Roll Eyes

I stopped watching in the 4th quarter hehe.

Agreed on D'Angelo Russel. He will also take some work off Steph Curry's hands and supplement him during games.

Next Clippers game is versus the Hornets.

GSW losing to the Clippers with a big lead.

Hmmm this is something new. But I watched it carefully as I know how their offense and defense  works.
Their gameplay is a whack.
It is like the other player doesn't knew what the next step will be.
Screens are happening but help doesn't come.
I remember Curry always switching once a mismatch is on going. He is looking at his back trying to tell the other player to switch. I didn't see that.
The whole game is all about the offense. But just like other teams, let us give this Warriors a chance. They still might be in chaos for a lot of changes in their roster.
They have a good system and as long as the players are doing their respective role, we will eventually see the Warriors improve.
Curry scored 23 points but his strength which is the 3 point shooting was missing here because he only shot 2-11 which makes him the worst 3 point shooter in the team.

That should be the case later.
They might be watching the video of that game against the Clippers by now and looking at what they are missing.

I see mostly that it is defense which they lack. Offense is there and you can see the high scoring of both team. But Clippers going at 140 points? That says it all, there is no D.

Kerr might want to make amendments with the first team and the 2nd one to avoid bad switches.

So, if PG could comeback and make a big difference then it is great but when you have a team that is already an amazing team and already destroying whoever they face, it feels like any change would be very dangerous.

It will be dangerous if it's Carmelo Anthony lol, but it's Paul George, known to be a superstar that doesn't have an attitude that he should be the focus of the offense.

In his first season with OKC, he doesn't act like a main man even he can and allow Westbrook to work on his usual. During his second season, he still acts like that but this time, Westbrook instead allow him to be the main man at some of the cases. The same scenario will happen in Los Angeles Clippers, he will allow Kawhi to be the main man but it doesn't mean he will just be a second option and will do his best to help Kawhi and the whole LAC as much as he can.
