We are 2/3 of the season in NBA, and there are some consolidated situations.

In Western Conference:

-Golden State and Houston are fighting for first place, but I always see Golden State favored.
-San antonio should get to third place.
-Oklahoma and Minnesota will almost certainly qualify for the playoffs
-Portland, Denver, New Orleans, Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz: 5 teams for the last 3 places useful for playoffs. My favorites are Portland, Clippers and Utah Jazz

In Eastern Conference:

-Boston and Toronto are fighting for first place, Boston for me deserves the first place
-Cleveland will certainly qualify will probably come in third place
-Milwaukee,Washington, Indiana,Miami, Philadelphia, Detroit: 6 teams for the last 5 place useful for playoffs.

Those trades were imminent cause as you can see Isiah was not happy playing with James and Crowder never really took off when he arrived on the Cavaliers in the first place.
But Dwanye Wade getting traded was not seen. But he is getting old now and he goes back to the Heat.
He won't win a championship this year, yet again. Embarrassed

As for recap on what happened to Cleveland Cavaliers:

They send:
Channing Frye, Isaiah Thomas and first round pick to Los Angeles Lakers
Iman Shumpert and 2020 second-round pick (via Heat) to Sacramento Kings
Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose to Utah Jazz
Dwayne Wade to Miami heat

Who they got:
Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. from Los Angeles Lakers
Rodney Hood from Utah Jazz
George Hill from Sacramento Kings

Take note that this is a three team deal. And as of typing after Derrick Rose transfer to Utah Jazz, they plan to waived him and Minnesota Timberwolves wants a piece of Derrick Rose.

This is as far as my own knowledge on the recent trade deadline moments. Let's wait for full report I think later on.

The knight made a mad deal!

The cavaliers' determination to continue to compete for the title this season is obvious!

Worst of all, Thomas, last year's MVP contender, was traded everywhere this year!
Obviously Thomas was not a good fit for the cavaliers that is why they are making this action.
I hope that this would really work for the cavaliers as they need to keep winning so they can stay on the top like they did last season.
I believe the players traded to the other teams are real good players but when chemistry does not work, they need to make a solution to the problem.
This trade would benefit Isiah Thomas because obviously he is not fit to play along the king. He may find a home in the Lakers but the downside is, he is on the west. Good luck Thomas.

This is the big news around the association. I wonder who benefited from this 3-way team trade. This is just to show that Lebron James wants another run at the title but i don't like the action he made. Jerry Krause once said that Michael Jordan have not talk to him to acquire a certain player because he knows Michael Jordan can win that championship whoever his team mates are. Not like now where players are acting like they are in the front office. Lol.

Three days later the cavaliers will challenge the Boston celtics in the north shore garden.

Owen's deal at the start of the season now looks like a replacement for the lakers' two reserve players!

I don't know how the knight's management and Owen feel!
We will witness once they play, I am sure there will be a major adjustment that will happen and the players being traded
are not superstars so hopefully they will blend with the cavaliers because they are gonna be playing with a pride for the team that once become a champion.

I agree, Given the fact that the Cavs upon IT's arrival has already a lot of stars to start with.

Well, JC and Nance Jr. is a good addition to the Cavs both can deliver quite a performance, based on there previous games as Lakers.

Though it might be a good story for the JC and Nance, it might not be for IT. Thomas is an MVP contender last year and leads the Boston in their PO tourney. Thomas who is averaging 30 ppg last season and a consistent starter for the Boston and Cavs, will be a playing off the bench for Lakers. Well, there's a report that IT and Lakers are arguing because of the rotation. I hope that it the management could utilize what IT can provide. I'm not against Ball starting out but c'mon Ball over IT?

What just happened??
Cleveland literally traded thei entire roster. Not surprising if I see James getting traded as well hah lol
Just crazy.

Cleveland has decided to change almost all his roster probably because he needed a drastic change to try to reverse the course of this bad season.
Surely Lebron James will have affected many of these choices.
We'll see what happens but I think this season is now compromised for Cleveland.
Derrick Rose and Isaiah Thomas trades were really not surprising but Dwayne Wade departure back to Miami Heat was the major surprise since he is Lebron James best friend, their performance haven't been really great so i knew there was some major changes coming and that's exactly what happened.
Wade wanted to retire in Miami so i'm happy for it as i'm also a Wade and Heat fan. Let's see if Cavs can make a comeback with their recent moves. From top 2 last year now they aren't even in the top 10. That just shows how Irving is so important in their team.

I can't say if this is going to be an easy game for Golden State Warriors. As I've said, any team is capable of beating other teams but with GSW's performance there's a possibility that this will be an easy win for them but let's see if Dallas will allow this to happen.

Golden State Warriors are in top form. They have one of the most lethal combinations in the current season, in the form of Kevin Durant / Stephen Curry, with other players also backing up nicely. Dallas will find the going tough.
Even though the GSW are n top form, one shouldn't take Oklahoma City Thunder lightly at all, they have been doing pretty well against the Warriors this season and their recent victory over them shows that they have the guts to win the Championship this season.

That's why I'm not underestimating every team in the league. They are all reliable and making miracles each game, this game is one of the best for OKC now and feel bad for the GSW especially with the fans. Better luck next time. Although Warriors still have a decent standing after this lose.

Never underestimate the heart of a champion in the NBA.

The OKC may not be able to compete for the championship, but OKC is slowly getting better!

If Paul George and westbrook stay in next season, the thunder will be a championship contender!

OKC met the warriors, the vespers and durant's grudges!

Helpless warriors are defeated again!

The warriors want to defend their title not as easily as they thought at the beginning of the season!

Well this shows us that this isn't gong to be a walk in the park for gsw. Many teams are legitimately capable of dethroning the warriors, most are in the west. So i the think the west conference champions whoever it may be, will trounce the eastern champs on the way to the championship.
Too early to speculate. I'm done giving the same thoughts with what you are believing. What I'm thinking now that any team is capable of beating each other and I don't want to be confident to any of them now. They are all good when it comes to game plays and performances but it can't also be remove that there are times that they are throwing and not playing well.

Yeah. Both number 1 seed in Eastern and Western conference losses in the same day. And that is a homecourt advantage for Golden State Warriors.
Well, tomorrow Golden State Warriors will stay game home between the Dallas Mavericks this game will be an easy win for Golden State Warriors.

Thoughts?

And I guess they have different line up now, I can say that we have big 3 in Rockets, which are Harden, Paul, and Clint Capela.
I just hope they'll improve their defense a little because comes in the playoffs it's more physical, well I can say they were tested today by the defensive
team Miami Heat but they survive.
The rockets' defense has improved a lot.

Harden has completely changed his defense, and he is the eighth in the league.

In addition to the CP3 defense, the defense of the rockets has reached the top of the league.

Great for the playoffs!

They are the hottest team now, this season I can already tell that Harden has not clear competition as an MVP candidate and for the first time
he should win as an MVP. I hope he will continue to play like this and his team will dominate the west, anyway, regular season is different from playoffs.

Back in the playoffs, facing the rockets, they were defending harden!

It's different now. There's cp3 around harden. They can't strangle two people at the same time!

This is difficult for any team!
