for me even harden got a lots of help coming from his team mates he still deserved the MVP for this season as we seen all the hard works and his dedication to win in each games they played, aside from that he also learn to step up in terms of passing and defense but as we all knew that the season still long to assess but looking forward for harden to keep improving and deserve the win.

MVP race is better now. Are you on Harden's side or Westbrook's side? Which is better? Making your team Top3 West or breaking triple-double records with triple-double averages? I'm opening new poll, please vote and write your thoughts. I also added Durant, Lebron and Leonard but I don't think they have a chance.
I think Westbrook's performance is better, considering his team is weaker than Harden's Houston. Averaging a triple-double is a very hard achievement. He also do it with a play-off team already.
Oklahoma City is in 7th seed with 25-18 record. Houston Rockets is in 3rd seed with 32-12 record.

For MVP race, stats are the most important rather than the great role even a player bring his team into the top. James Harden has a good backup so I can't considered that guy as the one lifting the Rockets into the top. Unlike in the case of Russel Westbrook where we all know that he is mainly the guy who are doing all around role in Oklahoma City Thunder. And with his great streak of performance, his teammate are being carried away with him that's why they can stand even against the strong opponent.

I will choose Westbrook for now. Honestly, I can't actually decide who will be the MVP at the season end since there are still long road to be that needs to be passed.

We all know who's the real MVP and that's Lebron James, let's all forget about that and vote some of these ball huggers who will never get close to carrying a team to the NBA Finals alone (Westbrook and Durant almost made it last year...).

In my opinion Harden has more help in Houston than Westbrook in OKC, so for that alone I can see Westbrook with the slight advantage over the Beard. I really though OKC would be out of the question in terms of a playoff spot, but the West had been very week so far. They can even challenge some top seeds if they managed to incorporate a couple of players before the trade deadline.

If I will ask for today about that, I will go for Russel Westbrook. Yes currently he is behind by Harden but only within close points. And there are still lots of remaining games to be played and if his Beastbrook mode will maintained surely he will get the MVP title this season.

Why I choose him over Harden? Westbrook is the main cager of the OKC today and all plays including clutch one are being handed to him at all times. In short, no other options. Harden on the other side have a bunch of teammates that can also perform the way he does so the role are being distributed to the whole Rockers roster.

P.S Im only pointing about that stats. If in terms of team stats, no doubt that Rockers is more dominant than the Thunders and have much chances to be as conference finals contender in the West.

In the night another triple double for Harden, its thirteenth, in season (40 points, 10 assists, 12 rebounds), but his percentages were very low (scored 12 of 30) and Houston lost the third match of the last four!
The beard played well in their game today he's a great player I have no doubt but sadly they loss again hoping for their win against the bucks. I've lost the parlay because of this  Cry

The game was close. It can went either way. Wes Matthew's 3's was the big difference. Butler play good tonight however, they did a good job of pressuring on Chicago, making them make tough shots,

Jimmy Butler had 24 points and I still think he is a genuine NBA superstar. This is just one game.
It's one game but if you look at the past games of the Chicago Bulls, it's not impressive anymore. Bulls had a good start but with the health issues of Wade, Rondo, and Butler, it slightly lessen the chemistry factor that is needed to win. As as see, the big superstar in the team is Butler but he cannot handle it by himself, he needs the support of wade and Rondo, especially their bench.

Now that you mentioned bench support, yes, I agree with you, Butler needs the support he can get specially the 2 you talked about. No doubt, he is the team no. 1 star player, but if he didn't get any support or the team's bench is not consistent, them it would be difficult for them to win.

But I still believe the Butler's Chicago Team will be a force to reckon in the East, they just needed to be consistent and stay healthy.

Removed some quoted post.

Im not pointing to the characteristics of Butler being a superstar. We all know he is really the main man of the Bulls today. Just pointed out back in my previous post that even Butler is present in the floor, it will not going to be an easy win for them even the opponent is Dallas Mavericks like the one poster above said ( I bolded them at the quote Smiley ).

Both teams are unpredictable and doing great in their last 2 games before meeting up a while ago. I just saw that it will be a close game and chanced for Dalls to steal thesince Dallas are back in shape in that couple of game they played so I put some risk on betting to them plus the fact that the odds given for ML is really worth to try.

Is it my view but are the Rockets suffering right now? I saw them play last night in the fourth last night and they weren't landing any of their shots and none of their three's were going in.
The other night I was watching their game too and noticed that Harden was just not landing any of his key plays like he normally does.
Is it just me but are the Rockets cooling their jets now?
They are back at home tonight right? So I would like to say them to win but at under 220.5 points cause they scored 211 total last night and they played the Bucks before and can't see it going over 216 unless they go into over time.
What do you think of this prediction?

Dallas has never won three games this season. Dallas has won the last three games between the two teams.

Half of the games Deron Williams and Dirk Nowitzki was injured, Dallas started very bad this season but things changed. Nowitzki is back stronger and they started to win games. Dallas is 13-27 now. Tonight's game Chicago is favorite but don't underestimate Dallas. In Dallas Bogut is officially out for the game. Chicago Bulls -5.5 @ 1.84 looks good but Nowitzki's performance would be decisive.

Both teams are coming with a two game winning streak after three consecutive loss. Almost the same in terms of their overall stats in those two games they able to win. In their first meeting this season last December, Mavericks defeated the Bulls with 25 points lead margin @ 107-82. Dirk Nowitzki is out of the game that time while Dwayne Wade on the other hand was not present in the Bulls lineup.

In MAVS' lasts 2 games, the veteran Dirk Nowitzki really puts up some pump in his performance so this is a big advantage for the team as he will played in tonight's game. Wade is out for the Bulls.

I will go for Dallas Mavericks @ 2.96.

I'll pick Chicago. Homecourt advantage plus Butler is back healthy and their lineup is deep as compared to Mavericks. Dallas is pretty banged (Dirk not playing?) up I guess so Chicago will take advantage of it.

I'll pick Chicago as well. Bulls have been good at home whereas Mavs seems to be struggling a little. Dirk Nowitzki isn't injured and will be playing.  Only concerning in the match up is to the bulls with Nikola Mitroic out due to illness. Shouldnt really change the outcome of the game. With Butler back in the lineup is should be easy win for Bulls.

What do you think of Jimmy Butler, a high rated superstar than will make things go easier against the MAVS? You just said that it will be an EASY game for the Bulls.

Anyways looks like you all have been busted. Fortunately my bet win and even if not, that is going to be not an easy game for the Bulls.

Dallas Mavericks - 99 Chicago Bulls - 98

Butler was already back in the line up in their games against the Memphis, in fact he made a good play in the fourth quarter which give them a win in the end. I don't understand why the Bulls love to showcase their skills in the road but does not play well at home. This team is very unpredictable now, for sure there's plenty of gamblers who loses in this game.

Mavs lead by 13 points now with 8:40 mins remaining in the 3rd qtr. I prematch thought that the Bulls would win at home but Bulls are not being able to stop Mavs attack at all. They are unable to read the Mavs plays and either end up fouling or give away an open shot at the basket. Bulls really gotta step it up if they plan to win this.
Game is not over yet, the Bulls are fighting back to win this game, it's a close game now and the Mavs are leading with 1 point only with less than 2 minutes. I hope the Bulls will not let their fans down again, they should prove they are a good team and they can win games home convincingly.
Mavs wins with 1 point they managed to hold the lead until the buzzer sometimes its better to place bets with unfavored teams to win like what happen with houston against the heat unexpected wins and ML is really in good odd.
Not all the time I guess, it depends on the situation and there's a right spot where an underdog or a favorites will most likely to win. This game has made the Bulls favored due to their good performance against the Memphis Grizzlies and that ignite the hype to attract the public to take -4.5 bulls which is playing at home.

Total Brook Lopez/DeMar DeRozan (49.5) Under @ 1.85
Lopez's ppg is 20.1, DeRozan's ppg is 28.1, total makes 48. They need to perform better than their averages. Toronto and Brooklyn played against each other 4 days ago. DeRozan scored his average, 28, Lopez also scored his average, 20. Lowry and Bogdanovic will use the ball, too. I believe this is a close under call. I'm expecting 42-48 total.
The nets have stepped up I guess they are tired of losing so much and they are up by the half on the raps

Glad I didn't choose a half time for Toronto because those never seem to be easy to predict.
Just look at the Houston game. They are tied at 53 each at the half.
I don't know if it will be under as Lopez is getting lucky with deflecting his shots off his knuckles tonight. Cheesy

This is another lost season for the Nets and their focus will be on the development of young players and maybe acquisition of free agents come next season. They just lost this one again against Toronto after playing close. Corey Joseph stepped up in the absence of Kyle Lowry and led the way for the Raptors with a season-high (I think) 33 points.
