Yes I also read about Paul George rumors but I don't know how authenticate is it.

"Warriors owner Joe Lacob “is going to try and find a way” to get George to Golden State."

These are some of the ways:
- They must give up some of their caliber players in order to acquired George.
- George must demand for it
- They have to build up a better package

But in this case, GSW management is the one who will pursue to get George. It's different if this guy is eager to joined GSW like what Kevin Durant did that he sacrifice his salary just to get to this team.

If this will happened super team will now become a super team more. Really a bad idea as it will destroys excitement.

Isn't George already traded to the Thunder?

It's not gonna happen, as if OKC would be willing to give him up with having good pieces for themselves.
PG was traded in Thunder and fans are happy about that already.
I don't think the warriors are still gonna look for another star that might only ruin the chemistry the team
successfully build.

I think Golden State Warriors still unstoppable next season. Maybe only 2 or 5 top NBA team as title contender for Curry and folks.
Anyone have created thread for 2017/2018 season yet?

This thread is already good for 2017-2018 as OP can just change the title or it's understandable that this thread is for NBA. We will see if the Golden State Warriors is still unstoppable, every season is not that the same from the past. It's either this is the regime of GSW but we will never know if they can play consistently.

Warriors would definitely have a hard time to defend their title. Why? A lot of teams did upgrade their lineups and most likely a contender team. Like Wolves, Philly, Celtics, and Houston. Though I still wanted to see Spurs to win this season. Unfortunately, they didn't upgrade much their line up. I hope that they could still have the intensity of a championship team. They must not put all the weight on Kawhi's shoulder but instead they must do more with or without him.

Yeah this season is going to be a tough one for them but if you are a certified Warriors fan and die hard for them, you will keep on cheering them. Every team has the right time to shine but with different roster change and upgrades this season is going to be a blast and one of the most exciting season in the history of NBA league.
As if the Warriors can't get any better, rumors have it that they are preparing to make a run for Paul George come free agency next season. If that comes to fruition, then it is like watching an All-Star game each time the Warriors play. Imagine having five high-caliber players starting for the same team? How the management of Golden State can make it happen is as good as anyone’s guess. I bet Paul George would want to be on a team as strong as that given how much he wants to win a championship.

I think signing PG isn't that essential. Warriors line up is already deep, They already had the well balanced line up KD, Steph, Iggy, Klay, dray and the rest of the 2nd team (iggy includes on the 2nd team). Warriors needs to free some slots to acquire PG, but he wouldn't fit on that team. Steph and KD are the stars and scorers of warriors, for sure PG wanted to make his own name on that team too. Which could result on lowering down the chemistry of the whole team. I guess, It's better for the warriors to not go after PG it would only cause chaos on the rotation of players. Especially that PG is SG/SF which is the position taken by KD and Klay.

I agree. I think acquiring PG is a overkill already. Unless someone from GSW like Klay or Igoudala wants to be trade as well but I doubt they will. GSW have already build a good chemistry between and adding a name player will do more harm than good. Too early to tell but I think the management is just using a pysche war this early to gauge how teams will react to their statement. LOL. For me, its beneficial to add him in their lineup they are already solid, very solid and they don't want to disrupt the chemistry that they have established already.

Yeah. You are right there. Acquiring Paul George is too much for them. The last chapionship team is enough because their chemistry is good. I will not accept it if i were Paul George because he will just play as a sixth man there. PG should sign for Thunder. He could be a star there. This is unfair for weaker teams. Westbrook needs a partner. So Thunder must acquire him.

What? For real? Is this for sure that Paul George is just going to play on his current team just for a short time? So we've got a new Kevin Durant as this type of player sure has similarity with him. But I don't think he will still be considered, this is hybrid GSW is already stronger with their current roster.

I heard that rumors too. I'm a GSW fan but getting PG is way too much. Other team doesn't even match with their current line-up, even other team upgraded their line-up in the upcoming season, still no match with GSW. Then how come if PG will get in. It's like even the season haven't started yet, we already know who can get the ring. LMAO. Too much, i'd prefer PG in other team but if PG wanted a ring we can't interfere.
Now.would they have the salary cap to secure that kind of deal if ever it gets realized? Remember that steph was already offered such a lucrative deal and probably durant's is not far off from that. Its going to be a problem i think and gsw really don't need pg13 there.

Yes every season is different especially some teams added great player in their line up but isn't GSW known for being consistent, it was. This is the era of GSW, they will play consistent as long as no one in their key player will gone, both starting and bench.

The very special attribute have for GSW is they will make sure they can retain there players so that they can maximize the chemistry to their players and they have great selection on rookies since they will make sure that it can blend to their plays and theirs no doubt from next season that GSW is still the main problem of the other team to get the championship rings.

Definitely, every team wants to defend its title. Warriors should be 3x champion by now. I hope they will established like like Chicago Bulls back then. No one can really touch when Jordan is around, with Warriors, Steph and Durant leading the team. Its really nice that teams are upgrading their line up, but for me Warriors is above all teams now with their roster intact, chemistry of the players are still there and they are one with the Management. Goal is to win another trophy for this year for them.

For me warriors is a complete team with each different skills on there position. There main 5 is as igoudala the fifth men is a good combo for a championship. These are the lineup that the other team are trying to compete against. And from what i see this year has the most ridiculous trades. Cavs also are would make some weird trades but both this finalist teams are trying to have minimal trade. Even though they acquired rose, his contract is just 2 million so i guess its a win situation for the cavs.
The contract is very cheap, it's a win for the cavaliers if Derrick Rose will deliver the same play he did when he was a sensational player in Chicago Bulls.
He need to prove something, he is in a good team that is expected to dominate the East so he has to live with the standard of the team and help Lebron James take this team again to championship.

Only if he can delivers the same. For the past season D.Rose's injuries are hindering him to play in his full potential. As of now, D.Rose transferring to Cavs is indeed a win win situation for the both side. D. Rose contract is cheap as said and also, cavs could get more high potential players to fill up their line up.

Hate to say it but i dont see anyone beating Warriors. The West looks really strong this year. I feel bad for Lebron. no one wants to play with him

The New York Knickerbockers announced today that the team has signed forward Michael Beasley. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Beasley, 6-9, 235-pounds, holds career averages of 12.6 points and 4.7 rebounds over 23.5 minutes in 509 games (206 starts) over nine seasons with Miami, Minnesota, Phoenix, Houston and Milwaukee.
