Give me a name of a big man you want to sign. I mean, i cant think of any good big man right now in free agency. I know he's not that good but he can fill up some spot on the roster for now. That's why I think they should sign Yi Jianlian.

It's just that Lakers have no option this time but signing him is not a good move, they could get someone better than him which are more aggressive and entertaining to watch, but if there is no option then let us watch this upcoming regular season how this guy perform.

Agree here. Lakers can conduct such big trades with other team if there's no good center in the free agency list. That's how Lakers is and not just putting some money on that player. But well if they will got that CN player for cheap then it's fine.

He should be paid cheap because the way he plays is not really that deserving of a bigger play. And I can see that once Mozgov will be available from injury Lakers will begin more fun to watch, a solid team with the young squad and a promising superstars.

Mozgov could be fun to watch but accordingly he suffers from injury and they need another big man to replace him while he is sideline. Lakers have already another big man that could step up but what I want to witness in this season is the combo for clarkson and russelle as I am pretty sure they will explode since kobe is out.

I am not expecting the Lakers to make the playoffs in the next two seasons, unless they are able to acquire top caliber free agents by the end of the upcoming season. Young as they are, they lack the leadership, a big void wanting with the departure of Kobe Bryant. They look like a team full of band aid players (not for rebuilding) and doesn't really seem to have a real identity.

I think mozgov is not overpaid as that is just normal, every team needs a big man in the line up and if you would take notice, majority of the first pick are big man because they are in demand in the industry. I just hope mozgov could play in the season as he is also fun to watch.

Yi is like a king in China right now.. No.1 baller in China with the Highest salary.. Unless the offer is really appealing i.e higher pay with starting position and solid 30min, He will not come to NBA at this age and stage of career.

Yi is at the peek of his career and it is gamble for lakers to get him since theres no reliable center is on free agency right now and also hes career in nba are not really good and he dont have playing time either, well lets look for now what he can contribute on lakers maybe he will be a great addition or maybe he will also be a great failure to them.

Seems like the New York Knicks are going to vastly improve on their campaign this coming season. They now boast of a team capable of contending for at least a playoff spot in the East. Having D. Rose, Melo, Noah, Courtney Lee, Brandon Jennings, and last season's rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis is enough to make heads turn and consider them a solid team. Now under Jeff Hornacek's coaching, I wonder how deep can they go into the playoffs with a lot of young teams also making improvements.

I see how he play. Compare to the other center, he is not a threat. I dont think it give them an impact. He played great at CBA. But i think NBA is a different level compare to CBA. A lot of centers now are very strong and can shoot at three point area. Also he is not that young compare to other younger and stronger centers. I dont think he can compete with them.
