That was tough to swallow. You are 0.1 seconds away from being crowned the ECF champion and going to the NBA Finals but then you're going to a game 7 instead hehe. The Heat usually responds well when their back is against the wall but it would still be hard to recover from that loss. I think this will be the game that they would look back the most if they lose again in Boston. Kinda reminds me of the Ray Allen dagger against the Spurs.

You are right.
In my opionion there is no way to recover from this. Can't have a bigger chance to seal the deal and now going back to Boston for a deciding game 7, Miami will go down.

My prediction, they will lose by at least 15 points.

History in the making. Coming back from 0:3 already has never been done, but doing it losing the first 2 games at home is especially hard. Boston will pull this off 100% now.

Does anyone know what the odds for this comeback were? Since it never happened they must have been huge.

Boston took it with a controversial buzzer beater, due to time changed before last attack
nervous match, Miami had chance to finish it all, but they didn't and their chances in seventh match are close to zero

congrats to White for anticipation in last attack, from delivering the ball to shooter to jump and shot with a buzzer

That should be the mentality indeed. Avoiding another loss and the added pressure of traveling to Boston for a Game 7 would be crucial for the Heat. It's important for them to stay focused and give it their all in Game 6. Jimmy Butler has often been the X-factor for the team, and if he performs at his usual level and Miami's 3-point shooting remains consistent, it could lead to an exciting and victorious game in Miami. Let's hope for a fantastic performance from the Heat, and perhaps we'll see balloons drop in celebration.
Beating the Celtics should be done on this game 6 because if not, well that's a sad game 7 for them, potentially. And that's when the Celtics are going to celebrate and that's a big boost for their morale after that 0-3 deficit.
I actually don't expect Miami to beat the Boston Celtics in game 6 because I have high hopes for the Boston Celtics to get further wins in games 6 and 7 to get a good series.
Well see it tonight, it's just several hours away and we'll see if who's going to make it on game 6.
The 6th match has been completed and sure enough the Boston Celtics managed to win again, we will witness the 7th match which will determine who will be the winner.

Maybe some people will support Miami to win, but if you look at matches 4 and 5, Boston can beat Miami again in games 6 and 7.
After all I bet a bit on the Celtics.
As you can see, many people like Heat to win and they've got the support of the crowd thanks to ESPN's analytics that have proven them wrong at the beginning. But now, that stat is increasing close to its prediction every time the Heat lose.
Good luck with your bet man.
I admit Miami had a lot of supporters for them to win but the fact has emerged that in game 4 5 and 6 the Celtics have beaten them.
Maybe in game 7 the Celtics will win again and have a legitimate win in this series.
Speaking of which the 3 bets I've made on the Celtics have always paid off and they've been amazing.

Thanks to Bam, His single role for that play is to defend the hoop by getting the defensive rebound yet he just watching near the free throw line without any intention to get the rebound. You can clearly see the reply that he is just watching instead of repositioning for the rebound.

White will never have a chance to made that shot if Bam is doing his job. He is not doing more rebound lately which is why Miami is so weak on defense and extra possession. This confirmed that Boston will gonna win this series next game.

Game 7 baby! Grin

This has been one of the most entertaining series of all time. Worth all sleepless nights.
Whenever we play here in our place, and it's a very close one like what happened in Game 6, our coach always says to us to always look the player that's inbounding the ball because he's the most dangerous player at that sequence. Well, that's what happened in Game 6.

I really thought that the Heat got it with Butler's breath-taking three free throw shots, but the hero has been arise in the name of Derrick White. A hero has been went to south beach to try, and fulfill the history that hasn't been broken yet - the first team to win the series after having a 0-3 deficit. He's inbounding the ball at that time, and he made that game-winning shot. The whole Heat is stunned at that moment. Players, Coaches, fans who would've thought that they will see the Heat going to the NBA Finals already, even Pat Riley I guess are stunned because of what happened. I just remember again what they are always saying. Always defend your opponents until the final buzzer sounds because anything can happen before that.

One of the best Game 6's that I've watched in the playoffs since I started to watch. The feeling that I already thought that the Heat are the 2nd 8th seeded team to clinch the Finals, but it was spoiled by Derrick White. Anyway, I will say that Butler and Adebayo's shooting was awful tonight. 9/37 from the field? It's just good that they had 14 threes so that they can keep the game close. Those 4 undrafted players really stepped up big time. One adjustment that I saw is the Heat manage to slow down the Celtics in the threes because they only shot 7/35 from the field. They have a chance to win it. It's just that White really spoiled it. Cheesy

Game 7 a few days from now, and we might see one of the longest records in history that has never been broken since to be broken. I can still remember what Brown, and Smart said in an interview. "Don't give us one." Well, now they're one win away from going to the NBA Finals, and making history.

Wow what a game winning shot by White to force it on home for a game 7, there's a chance now to record a history if they won it. What a run by Miami too to cut it and make a lead in the final quarter, that was really awesome and this is really an exciting game 6. I think it will be more intense in this coming game 7.

Crazy ending indeed, I thought that the Heat has this in the bag as they come back from a huge deficit in the last 3 minutes as Jimmy Butler takes over the game and then hit those crucial free throws to give them a 1 point lead with .3 ticks left.

But the unforseen happen, Derrick White becomes the hero, with that tip in after Smart missed a 3 point shot.

So they are going back to Boston, and the chances of Heat blowing up 3-0 lead and winning the series is getting slimmer.

Teary-eyed Derrick White after the game-winning tip-in to give the Boston Celtics a chance to make history in Boston.

That was some game. I really thought Jimmy Butler would not step up his game but I am wrong, he did step up in the 4th quarter and even had the chance to win the game by a 3 point play fouled by Horford, he shot all three giving the Miami Heat the lead.
Max Struss forgot to defend back the inbounder and that left White alone deep in the rim to make the tip-in without anyone contesting it.
It left his hand at the exact time before it expires, so the basket is good. I love this Game 6 more.
Game 7, in Boston, will Jimmy and Bam step up early, or will it be the same scenario? We will see.

The Heat better start driving to the hoop more and looking for some fouls. They're going to need players in foul trouble late so they can get some easy baskets. Ban and Butler have under 10 points each which is extremely disappointing. Almost the end of the 3rd qtr and Heat down 10.

Boston is so good on defending the basket. Watch carefully how they form a defense once Jimmy or Adebayo driving in. They have 3 man surging in to the person who will drive since they knew how awful the 3points shot of Miami.

Mediocre Bam is also making a lot of error and zero contribution at all. Boston already knew how to handle Bam and Butler on this series which is the main offense of Heat. Even Tatum is not scoring, Other player like Smart, Brown and White step up with a great accuracy while Heat other player like Vincent and Struss are not making anything to contribute. Boston will definitely reverse sweep them if Bam and Jimmy  keeps playing like this. They really need to get a contact.

End of first half, Boston lead 57-53. It used to be a 11 point lead early when Tatum went hot with his signature offense in the first and second quarter. But the Heat comes back with their own run in the second quarter to close the game.

There were anxious moments wherein Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo fell on the floor trying to tip in the ball and Bam fell on Jimmy's knee. However, they both got up. Jimmy though needs to assert himself and score in the next 24 minutes so that they can close the series already.

It will be over for the Miami Heat if they will wait until Game 7 will happen because that game will be played in Celtics house, which mean that the home team will have the much-needed advantage and I know that the Heat doesn't want that, so they better play wisely later because the Celtics have already proved in front of their face that they can control and dominate the game if the Heat will lose their rhythm. So, it's gotta be fine as wine or else the Boston will take it towards their house.
I hope that they won't allow it to reach game 7 but it will be a different story that's untold if it reaches there. On this matter, it's still 50/50 for them even the game is just game 6 later on.

Game 7 is more with Celtics and that home court advantage will be a big factor but they've beaten the Celtics twice on their home court though.

While on this game 6, hopefully that the Heat will make it as an advantage and they'll go all out of it. I'm not a Heat fan but I just like them to win and beat that statistics shown to them that they're only 3% reaching the finals.

Looking to put a bet on the Celtics with under 208.5pts for a combo so to make it even juicier then usual @3.25x odds.
Because you know once they had that momentum swing in their last two matches, it was game-on again!
They just might be able to pull off the impossible that had never happened in the NBA before.
That is a team coming up from being down 3-0 to win a series.
Was looking at the odds for a straight outright winners market for being champions and they are very nice @3.80x odds.
While Heat are @6.50x and lastely the favorites Nuggets @1.55x odds.

I do not think that this two losses meant as much as people think it did. First 2 games was at Celtics, heat won that, then 1 game at Miami, so only games Celtics won was 1 heat shocker, and one home win which was expected. So I assume that now that it is back to Miami, I assume Miami will get this win without trouble. I know that a lot of people are looking into this situation like it is going to be fun and Celtics may win this one and maybe they will do as well as they hope for, but that isn't going to happen.

I hope that it will be a decent one but I am not entirely sure about that. Lets see how tonight will go, if Miami wins then there is nothing to talk about it is on to the finals, but if Celtics win, then it is going to be a very tough game for Miami.

We will see. It could be that Miami Heat played regularly their remaining games after making a surprising 3-0 lead. Miami Heat on paper cannot beat the Boston Celtics. They need to play 101% to beat the league's favorite.

Gabe Vincent has to play in game 6. He is 1 of Miami's contributor and his absence in game 5 hurt their chances of winning. This game might be the last chance of Miami to reach the finals once again. They should go all in this time and never give the Celtics another chance, especially when the last deciding game is at Boston. Besides, there is no team that was able to recover from a 0-3 deficit. It would be a shame to Miami, coach Spo and Butler to be the only team that allowed it. It will touch their pride although on paper their team really has exceeded expectations already as the odds never thought they will be here in the eastern finals.

Hard to play in a pressure game but Heat should think that they are not ahead of the series but instead, consider the next game as a do-or-die game for them.

Yes, it all boils down on Jimmy's performance in this game, for the Miami Heat to clinch or go to Boston Garden to fight a game 7, but it's going to be very hard to do that.

So pressure for Jimmy right now, but we will see if he will responded by like having a 50 point performance to seal the win for them. For me it's a hard matchup for the Boston, so Butler might explode again in this game.

Bam as well for me will be the other player that needs to step up and if they don't want to lose this finals.

As a knick fan I'm partial here.  Root for Miami who knocked them out or Boston which as a ny fan I can't stand.  So I'm rooting for Boston tonight so I can see a tense game 7 amd then even though I think Boston would win a game 7 in theor house will be rooting for Miami.  Either way tonight's game is gonna be unreal.  Love playoff basketball.

I think this streak has gone too long, it's time for the Miami Heat to win the game and end the streak. Boston Celtics have held up well, but Miami's playoff performance is very difficult to reach and I think Miami will beat their opponent in such a critical match.
It is not something we will see all the time for a series that could end in game 4 to extend like this. If Boston wins another game, they will play the last game highly motivated

This will be the only chance remaining for the Miami Heat to finish the whole series because if it will reach Game 7, the Boston Celtics will have it and will put the team on that map for making a history. But just like what you have said, the Celtics had their wins and at this stage, what they did was already unexpected after having that kind of deficit and I don't believe as well that the Heats didn't learned their lesson after being defeated for two straight games.

Nothing is a guarantee but I agree this is Miami's game 7.  If they go back to the garden that might be too much pressure to overcome.  Honestly at this point Boston has no pressure on them, as wierd as it sounds because if they lost this series at this point people would have already expected it.  Anyone down 3-0 is playing with house money.  I need to see a game 7 in Boston so I'm rooting for the Celtics tonight.
