Russell has started this game off on a tear. He made his first 3 3-point shots and 5 of his first 6 from the field to get the Lakers and early lead. They blew it though giving up a huge run to the Warriors at the end of the first. The rest of the Lakers are going to have to step it up if they want to stay in this game. Russell gave them a nice start.
The Lakers had a big start, but despite that, the Warriors were able to take an early lead. However, the Lakers came back and did not give the Warriors another chance to lead. It looks like Game 3 will be for the Lakers, as there's no way the Warriors will be able to come back from an 18-point deficit after the 3rd quarter.

Great game from Lakers, but can Jordan Poole get traded right away ? The guy is literally a trash can and every possession he get is a potential turnover and point off turnover for them Lakers, he's got zero defensive play!

It's going to be a win or burst game for 4 game imo, the momentum is in favor of the Lakers from my point of view and should the warriors lose game 4, I'll bet on the Lakers close out in 5.
Jordan Poole is an impatient and selfish shooter, but he gets hot every now and then. I still feel like Golden state wins game 4 though. Ad has a monster game 1, then a shit game 2. Now a monster game 3 and following the pattern a shit game 4 incoming.

agree here, Warriors started good, but Lakers turned the game and won easily in the end
now up one win in series, and win in next match would close it out for them, since 3:1 would be a hard one for Warriors to overcome, can't see them playing good in strike

for Warriors all depend on 3-point percentage, when good they can beat any team, but when it is as last night, below 30%, they are just miserable

Looks like the Lakers are all good when they get their momentum early and are able to protect their lead. their defensive strategy was working well and Curry was only shooting bricks on the tree point line throughout the game. If they can execute such a great performance in their next game, the GSW will have a hard time recovering and that's why LBJ and Davis were resting when they got the juicy lead earlier because that's the kind of game they don't want to miss and they need to fully ready and rested for it.

Booker went crazy tonight for the Suns. Him and Durant both put up big numbers but his efficiency stands out as what made the difference in this game. I figured the Suns would bring it tonight. This win gives them a little life as the series is now 2-1 with the nuggets still in the lead. If the Suns can win the next one then they’ll have some hope after all.

Book us gonna be the x factor in this series for the Suns.  He needs to put up 30+ each game.  Durant will get his one way or another.  They actually played better without cp3 but could be a little home cooking too.  Jokic looked lost at times which I didn't see in the first 2 games.  He needs to be a star every night for Denver to have a chance.  If he plays well nugs are tough to defend.  Hoping Suns lock it up at 2-2 I hate quick series in the playoffs.

Personally I do hope the series between GSW and Lakers will go in 7 games because so far both teams are playing amazing basketball with a slight advantage for Lakers in my opinion.

Tonight , 76ers vs Celtics should be one hell of a game with Embiid probably being able to play and he is coming after MVP trophy and I'm expecting 76ers to win. If Embiid won't play...then Celtics will finish this series pretty early.
No disrespect to you, I agree with your points but I just want to point out how surprising we consider Lakers' basketball good now. In this topic or media or even among friends, Lakers were ridiculed a lot this season and last season. Westbrook played great after he left Lakers but he was terrible when he was in Lakers. Also made the team terrible. Especially without AD, Lakers were terrible. But now, not only they reached playoffs, but they are doing great and even have a chance for the title for some people. 2-3 months ago, I wasn't even expecting them to made the playoffs. Similar thing can be said about the Warriors as well. There was a lot of times they were terrible this season but not they play like their old champion self. Surely it is a great series to watch but I don't expect it will reach 7 games. It will indeed be great to watch if it reaches 7 games though.

Phoenix managed to defeat Denver 121-114 this time. The biggest contribution to this score was Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.

Kevin had 39 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists, while Devin had 47 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists, and they were the architects of the victory. The next match will be in Footprint Center 2 days later.

Phoenix could make the series 2-2, but Denver still has the field advantage. Kevin and Devin need to continue their performance for the next round.
They can beat Denver, and if Durant will continue to dominate the field with a help of Booker, then it could be more dangerous for Denver to be complacent.
Looking for more highlights with Durant, as he is still one of the best player in the league. There's still a lot of work for Phoenix, and this is a good start.
The western conference are getting more exciting, looking forward for the next game with GSW and LAKERS, it will be a home court advantage for Lakers and hope they can maximize it.

Kevin Durant is considered the most productive year in basketball. 34 years is the age of full maturity. As long as you don't get bad injuries. If he does well with Booker in this series, Phoenix winks to the next round.

The fight between the Gsw and the Lakers could turn into more of a Steph vs LeBron fight. The Lakers now seem to have the advantage. The Lakers can sometimes have uneven results. You never know if GSW could win in Los Angeles.
My favorite NBA team this year is Boston. That fact does not change, even though I love LeBron very much.

Durant and Booker's performance in the final match was truly incredible. But I don't think that a team where only 2 players can score can be successful in the playoffs. They played well in this match and managed to beat their opponents, but no one can guarantee that they will do the same in the next match. They need a few more players on the team to assist in scoring.
34 is not a very old age, he can still show a very high performance. I'd love to see Durant continue like this Smiley

Sad for Embiid to lose at home court when he won the MVP award. I mean you would prefer to not lose a game where you are playing at Philly and you got MVP award before the game and then you go out there and end up losing, that's really a humiliating experience I am sure.

However, they won one game at Boston, so this is basically revenge of that, nothing shocking just yet, the team with the home court advantage is 2-1 up after third game is the common expectation so even though it got here a little differently then just 2 home wins and then followed by other teams home win, it is still the same result in the end. Sixers needs to make it work to win this game for sure, it should happen without a doubt, otherwise it will definitely be a difficult one to come back from there.

Durant and Booker now played an amazing match and Nuggets didnt stand a chance. But i doubt they can both play at this level all of the games in the series. Jokic and Murray played really good but it wasnt enough but i think in game 4 we might see a different story

I hope it would really go until game 7 then Stephen Curry will be a monster again, but surely Stephen Curry was really drained after game 7 against the Sacramento Kings I really want to say this on game 1 for the Golden State Warriors VS Los Angeles Lakers, Stephen Curry doesn't have enough time to recover for Game 1 while they don't have any answer against Anthony Davis by that time, so I think it is fair to say that the Warriors can win that Game 1 aswell if they have a not fatigue Curry, but yeah if this match will go the distance until 7 games for sure the Warriors will still win this,

There is a high tendency that this series will be decided in game 7. Both are competitive and have the potential to win. I'm still giving GSW a slight edge here as its players are more experienced compared to Bron and AD's teammates. The negative impact though if this goes to game 7 is the fatigue factor especially since Bron is already nearing 40 and Steph already came from game 7 against the Kings and is in his mid-30s too.

I always love upsets and I am hoping Philly can do it. But in order to do that, Harden and maybe Maxey needs consistency in order to help Embiid. There's just too much talent and experience in this Boston team. Jalen and Taytum are still very young and yet they have so many playoffs experience.

I only have 1 NBA bet for today, -5 Miami. This may be the safest since GSW can be unpredictable as it tries hard to steal a game in LA.

Booker performed really well against the Nuggets.  Kevin Durant was also really well in this match. The Nuggets did perform well in this match. But the performance from Kevin Durant and Booker was absolutely incredible. Both of them absolutely carried the team on their back. I still believe that they will be able to have a better performance if they perform as a team and the other players will have much more contributions when it comes to the points.
This is just one game though, the Nuggets are still in the advantage here, I mean if we look at the game, it was still very close up to the last minute. The Suns still needed some contribution to CP3 to offset the Nugget firepower.
So we will see if Booker and Durant can still have the same game and offense again. We've seen Harden giving us 47 in game 1 and went flat on game 2 against the Boston Celtics. Curry had 50 to close out the Kings in game 7 but they lost game 1.
So the pressure is still on the Suns here, to at least tie the series score, otherwise it will be 3-1 going to the Nuggets homecourt. Another must win for them the next game. And Booker and Durant will have to play like this again.

It is true,
Even after a win like this, the Suns are actually the ones under pressure.
And as I said they will have to get contributions from other players in the team.
Otherwise, it is actually going to be difficult for them to win the next one.

snip
There's no doubt Durant and Booker's performance was impressive in this game, but I think the Suns will most likely lose this series against the Nuggets. At least, that's my assumption at the moment because the Suns look like a team where only two players (Durant and Booker) have the desire to reach the Western Conference Finals while none of their teammates can score even 10 points.

I can say for sure that the suns were actually able to win this game because of the two individual brilliant performances.
Other than that it was going to be very hard for them to win.
I also believe individual performances are not going to be enough to draw the series against the Nuggets.
Team performance is needed for that.

Booker is set to explode those pull up jumpers and Durant's too was explosive on that win, even without CP3 they manage to blow some lead there. I think they need to maximize Payne's quickness, we know CP3 is getting older and Payne is surely a good substitute. If somehow Denver gets it at 3-1 then I don't see any sign they'll get out of that deficit.

Good to see that getting Durant is coming into fruition specially in this game, they needed a win and the duo make sure everything will be on their side. Specially Devin Booker, he has been crazy in this playoff even in the first round.

But this is the first time that we have seen him like playing MVP and doesn't want to exit early against the top seed Nuggets. Although they have a good lead early, the Nuggets was able to close down but the good thing is that they have Durant to help Devin on the offensive side.

I think both stars are not willing to make an early exit. That's why we have seen them playing like there's no tomorrow anymore,
both played so well, as we see from the stats that they've produced today.

I like seeing them really preventing the Nuggets from making that momentum and shift the tempo, then snatch the game away from them in front of their fans.

Booker as always, he brings his talent and really taking that extra mile to lift the team, while we also see Durant making his
own way, contributing and helping from both sides.

I think this is what Booker needed, another team that can really complement him. Ayton is not giving him any numbers or at least points that needed to be the second best option in the team, then CP3 is out. If you listen to his post game interview, you can hear that he is somewhat frustration of Ayton's performance although he didn't name him.

And now with Durant on this team, he has somewhat provided Booker another member that can help him. Even if he produces 60 today, but without any help they can still lose the game. So yeah, Durant is a big help for him at Phoenix.

It was more or less clear that we would see a more resilient Warriors in game two as the Lakers took the home advantage after the first game they played very well. It was important for the Lakers to get a game, they did it. The second match could have been sacrificed. Now winning their home matches will be enough for them to pass the round. Anthony Davis was great in the first game, but he was like a ghost in the second game. LeBron also played very little in the second half when the gap widened. The bench contribution of players such as Hachimura and Walker is important. The Lakers should score more from the bench. If it's all up to the Davis, LeBron, Russell trio, it's tough. Every player has to contribute to the team. I would love to see the Lakers against the Nuggets in the Conference Finals. They have to win 3 more games and it will not be easy. They must defend in a way that breaks the Warriors' 3-point game plan.

For me, I will just wait for game 3 for the game to go full Throttle if the Lakers win this the 2nd game was a sacrifice for them to rest even more, and for Anthony Davis to be rested but if the Warriors win the game 3 then the Warriors have elaborated a good defense for Anthony Davis that is Draymond Greens doing that the score of Davis was down to 11, that the Warriors are now in control of the match and have exposed the Lakers, but it is still just theory so let's wait whos really going to win game 3,

Yeah, they just did.
Sometimes we see those great moments for AD but not just this time. Well, good for the Warriors for tying the series into 1-1, maybe this will take up to game 7 just as what everybody wants to see.

Nice, if that's what your gut is telling you then it could be true. No one can say it better but only you. So if you think that this win will be extended by the Warriors up to game 3, do it mate.

Let's just wait for game 3 to start later, this is going to be an interesting game for sure, if it goes on until game 7 then It will surely go down to history again, I really like both teams so seeing these 2 teams busted out until game 7 but I like the Golden State Warriors to win this again,
