The Heat is just one win away for the Eastern Conference Finals. They don't have enough "stars" unlike other teams with big names but this one seems more balanced. It's another decent all-around performance from Jimmy Buckets and a nice point distribution among the rest of the team. I didn't expect Lowry to still be playing quite well at this point and then Kevin Love providing a good cover for Adebayo.

Heat is pretty much walking in the park right now. They will probably be having enough rest and planning time waiting for their next opponent, which is most probably going to be Boston. The actual heat in this playoffs is actually happening right now in the Lakers and Golden State match. I am looking forward to GSW winning this one right now and even probably the series. This season might even end up having a replay of the 2022 finals.

Yes, pretty much an easy series for the Heat, I thought that the Knicks will make this series close or even have a good chance to win against the Heat. But then Miami turn into a beast this playoff, winning against the top seed Bucks and that's all they needed to show that they can still go and maybe went into the Finals again.

That's still possible. I guess they have enough ammo to go up and win against the Celtics. Let's see.

Quote
For the Lakers vs Golden State, still up for grabs, we are in the 4th quarter and the Warriors is slightly leading the Lakers. But with still 6 minutes to play, there are a lot that can happen. So let's see how it goes if the Warriors is going to make it even tonight.

The game is really tight. The warriors holds the lead but it can go away anytime. It's just a single possession. But they must be fully aware that a 3-1 lead in favor of the Lakers would be very dangerous. They have to prevent that from happening.

Edit: I guess they will fail.

Looking forward to this Lakers game. Now that the Suns are making their matchup a series I’m hopeful I might get to see a LeBron James vs Kevin Durant matchup. Tonight the Lakers could put the Warriors backs to the wall so it’s a somewhat important game for them to win. I’ll be watching and hoping the champs lose.

You don't want to see Durant and the Suns go up against golden state?  Would make for a great series.  With jokic playing the way he did and Durant and book playing lights out I'm not sure this thing won't see a 50/50 game 7.  The more I watch the playoffs the more I gotta think the Champs coming out of the west.  East is looking a little weak right now.

Oh I don't think that there's any question that the champions are coming out of the West (of course unfortunately for you and your Knicks, of course not like you had any grand delusions of going all the way or anything..but gotta say heck of a year for them.  Proud of my boy Thibs).

I myself am pulling for Phoenix LA.  I just want to see Lebron and not Curry advance.  I can't stand that mouth-guard chewing cock mf lol.  Lebron vs Durant is pretty sexy gotta admit.
Even though he's a GREAT player, I dislike Lebron and would rather see Curry and the Warriors advance. I also want to see the Suns advance, but Denver isn't #1 for fun. They're playing pretty hard and home court has been the advantage in that series.

Curry is still sort of the new kid on the block in my opinion. I think a matchup of LeBron James and Kevin Durant would be legendary. Plus, I’ve never had the opportunity to see LeBron play in person and I feel like the chance to do so is much more limited than the chances I’ll have to see Curry in the future. Not to mention I like LeBron more than Steph.

It was all thanks to Anthony Davis, I really think Anthony Davis was a key success for the Lakers and if the Warriors can not answer at all to this then there is no Stopping the Lakers from winning this I hate to believe that the game is rigged because the potential of players will surely be gone, and I really don't want to believe that the referee is intentionally calling fouls on Draymond so he can be stopped in stopping AD, but if they really doing I hope they will not get busted, and for the officials to say sorry again,
I can also say that Davis helped a lot in the victory of the Lakers. This helped the Lakers' defense to be strong underneath and still have offense on the court. According to what we saw in game 3, it will be difficult for Gsw to score under the ring, Gsw did it because they don't get a shot at 3 point line because they were defended by Lakers effectively. Lbj is also unstoppable in this game and I can say that they can take over game 4 if they continue to defend Gsw's gameplan.

Davis got no proper match up on GSW rooster so he can do all he want inside the paint, he just need to be in good physique and he can outscore and out rebound GSW. This is the big problem of GSW need to solve since they where been butchered badly with this. Also the last adjustment of lakers is really good since they find a good rooster positioning that's why they burry Warriors so deep. No one expect that to happen since they had a good run on game 2 but lakers prove that they are not easy to beat just like that.

Suns are still a great team but Nuggets are pushing them off so well. The series is tied right now but Nuggets looked better when they lost compared to Suns when they lost. I think the series will go very tight but I believe that we are going to see Nuggets win it in the end. It could be even 7 game series by the looks of it, but I think Nuggets may end up with the win.
The big adjustment of the Suns that they've made in this series is the fact that they gave their bench players more minutes, and the good thing is that they're contributing both in offense, and in defense. I think that's the reason why the series is now tied at 2 a piece.

Jokic had put monstrous numbers in both Games 3 & 4, but lost still. I don't know if it's just me that I have this feeling, but this series like Jokic Vs. Durant & Booker. The Nuggets are just an average team if Jokic isn't on the court while on the Suns, they can just switch Booker, and Durant if needed. Still both Durant, and Booker are playing more than 40 minutes in this series, and I don't know how fatigue will affect their overall performance this playoffs, but if they continue to play like this, I think their performance will decline soon.

Some say James Harden is already a washed-out player but he is proven them wrong, he is able to turn back the clock for him to be the Harden back in his prime which was insane and the good quality James Harden is the ability to adjust to his teammates not all are able to do that making the ability to make good play decision is a good combination for Joel Embiid, because many in the League are ball huggers or they want to shine with the ball, so I am with you with the Philadelphia 76ers against the Boston Celtics is a great match to observe,
He isn't a washed out player like what his bashers are saying. It's just he isn't consistent in this series.

In their 2 wins, he put 40+ points while in the 2 losses, he is almost non-existent. Harden just needs to be consistent in the remaining games if they want to go to the Eastern Conference Finals. I mean him, and Embiid can carry the team just like what they did in Game 4. I agree with you as well that the ability of Harden to adjust to what his team needs makes him a good player. When he was in the Rockets, he focuses more on shooting, but when he is in Brooklyn, or now in Philly, he focuses more on passing, but can lead his team offensively when needed. Overall, if Harden will be consistent in offense in the remaining games in this series, we might see the Sixers defeating the Celtics in 7 games or even 6.

^^ Sixers escape with a big win, in OT, Harden's 3 at the corner was enough to give them a 1 point lead with 15 seconds to go and the Celtics not calling any timeout. It was iso on Tatum but he has to give up the ball to Smart who drain the 3 but there was not enough time in the clock.

And this is what we come for, although everyone is interested on the match up in the West, but I think the Sixers vs Boston is a good series as well and maybe  the winner here could eventually become the NBA champion, just my speculation.

That Suns game was crazy. Jokic put up 53 points on 66% shooting from the field and they lost! Booker’s efficient night on 14-18 shooting along with Durant making a ton of free throws gave them the tiniest edge to tie up the series. Gives me hope that I might see a LeBron vs Durant series in the next round which would be awesome.

That push by Jokic going to get him suspended?

I think I may believe the Rigged theory on the NBA official if you say that, if and if Kevin Durant and Lebron James would match up in the finals then this NBA has a huge percentage to be rigged, many fans would love to watch that especially because it is between the legendary greats, and if you say there are tons of free throws for the Phoenix Suns and there is something fishy with the insane amount of free throws in the Lakers aswell then, I really don't want to believe NBA is rigged, but I love your idea a Durant VS James, but Rigging the NBA to do it,

I still cannot believe that Lakers got such an easy win but the really nice thing about the game is that Lebron had no field goal attempts at all at first quarter and he still ended up with 20+ points (8 rebounds and 8 assists to go with) to show that Lakers is good even without him scoring a bunch, dude could just play good defense and pass the ball and they can still win. It was always obvious that Warriors had absolutely no answer at all to AD and that showed once again.

This series is not over yet, it's only 2-1 and we can see some changes, I am sure Kerr is working overtime to get the win, can't say how or when or what kind of solution he would bring in, but he will make some changes to just end up leveling the playing field, otherwise Lakers would get it 4-1 easily.

The fact that Suns are 2-2 with the best team in the west, and Warriors-Lakers series, shows that the trades during the season made teams better than where they are placed, normally they could have been considered weak teams if you look at their seed but because there were plenty of trades, it became a lot more different .Durant is great and all but will he be enough to win? We will have to wait and see.

But still this is a great series to watch and I think Durant is the key here in this rematch. I don't think that someone can stop him in the Nuggets though. Yeah Booker is going wild in this series, but if ever there is one player that can make the difference in favor of the Suns it will be Durant. It's tied right now and it boils to best of 3. So whoever gets the next game will likely be the one who will come on top here. So we should expect another close one. Maybe it could go into overtime, just like the Philly vs Celtics as Sixers need that one and they get the job done in their homecourt.

I agree we can not exclude the Lakers, that they will be beaten by the Golden State Warriors that easily there is a huge chance that this game will surely go until game 7 for sure both these teams are potential champions, and it is really unfortunate that they have faced each other in the Conference Semifinals they should both face each other in the Finals and yeah this is going to be until game 7 for sure,

I do not know if the Lakers or the Warriors are potential champions, but I know whoever wins this series will have a hard time whoever win in the series between Suns and Nuggets. Especially if the Nuggets win their series, Laker or Warriors will have a hard time to deal against a healthy Nuggets. Now that Jamal and Jokic are both healthy and on the floor, I think it is their time to win the Conference and finally get a chance for an NBA championship. They are consistent and have a really strong supporting cast. But I am getting ahead of myself.
Either if it's the Warriors and Lakers, they still stand a good chance in defeating the healthy Nuggets especially the non-consistent Suns. Sure they have Durant now but the rest of them are well known for their inconsistency when it comes to longer games, it's like that they can't keep up with the phase that they established themselves and end up choking. While the Nuggets, it will be a close series, but I think that the team who got more experience will be favorable.

Quote
Sure, if the Warriors can make the proper adjustment and force a win on the road in game 4, I expect this series to go all the way to game 7. But if they fail to win game 4, there is no going out on a 3-1 hole for them.
Only LeBron James got out of that hole and even Lebron himself doesn't want to be in the same situation again as it's too exhausting to win three straight games to avoid getting eliminated. Therefore, the Warriors needed to force a win in their game later if they don't want to be in that situation as a 3-1 standing has been a curse already.

With the combination of LeBron and Davis plus the efforts of all the players who are playing with them.

They manage to dictate the tempo after getting the chemistry among them, a good sign that they are capable of dominating
and not to allow anything for the warriors to bounce back and regain the domination.

Great win for Lakers, congrats to all those who back them up!
Gotta give some love for D'Angelo, he did well and he's on fire for the game 3. But there's no doubt that AD was a complete beast on this one.

Dominated the scoring and points and as well as the rebounds. While LBJ also did a lot of points and help as well. I would love to credit also Dennis for having that 12 points.

While the other bench scoring players also, only a few of them didn't contributed. Overall, they really did great for game 3. Two more wins and this series ends.

D'Lo literally gave the team a good start for having consecutive shots beyond the arc while also having two successive field goals inside the first quarter alone meanwhile, LeMarathon here made another history for himself for not having any points in the first quarter. I mean, this man is literally a walking history maker Grin

Anyway, the whole roster made a good contribution and watching them bullying the Warriors was a kind of scene that you cannot see frequently. Even Vanderbilt was commendable even though he just played 15 minutes and contributed 2 points the whole time but his role was fulfilled because he successfully locked down the Splash Brothers which literally gave the visiting team a hard time.
Yeah, all of them did good.

Even the bench ones were also commendable for having little playing time but at least they've made some good stats despite having short playing time.

That's should be done for the next games that they'll have against Warriors and the next match will happen later and it's just about to happen for the next several hours.

[......] That push by Jokic going to get him suspended?
There's no official announcement yet but I hope the technical foul was enough punishment for him. It would be a shame if he misses game 5. I personally don't think he deserves to be suspended because of the incident.
Funny how Booker responded when asked. He said something like the he did the job by helping them get 1 point from the technical hehe. As if it's part of the plan to provoke Jokic.
I also think that technical foul should be enough. There is no actual excuse for what he did but it is not something big. I saw that he pushed the owner of Suns(don't know if it is correct info) but what that person did was just absolutely wrong. What could the Suns gain from one possession like that? 3 points? Make Denver lose the rhythm? These are very cheap actions, make the sports very bad in my opinion.
On the other hand both Booker and Jokic play splendidly. I genuinely love these kind of huge performances in the playoffs. It is like art to me. I saw some people calling Booker overrated. That is just wrong. According to what people call him overrated, it is not wise. He's playing with 80 percent on-court hits and an average of 40 points. Every shot is also with double team. He almost does not have one open shot.

Well, it is hard to keep calm when you are playing so well but still losing. Jokic dropped 53 points on his own. After a great performance like that it is really heartbreaking to see the team losing.  I am not saying that he didn't do anything wrong. But I also believe that there is no need to make a huge issue out of it.

Anyway I did not think that Phoenix Suns will actually be able to draw the series with the Nuggets. But they have actually proved me wrong. It was a close match. It did not feel like one sided at any stage. Great for the neutral fans.

And this is what we come for, although everyone is interested on the match up in the West, but I think the Sixers vs Boston is a good series as well and maybe  the winner here could eventually become the NBA champion, just my speculation.

I'm rooting for the 76ers to win the series because of James Harden, the guy has been playing well till today and he just can't get through to get back to the NBA finals again but this time his chance has increased because of Embiid playing well and maybe when they gonna win the next game with of course from the hard battle against the Celtics, they will gonna easily win it next series because the opponent is not that hard to beat though but they need to get through the Celtics first because they are right now facing the hardest playoff opponent in a series this year.

He really work so well thru the series and he keep sixers alive when Embiid is not contributing on the court. This will be great if they could successfully taken down the strong Celtics rooster because this will make more playoff exciting since we can see here if Embiid and Harden duo will be effected for their team to win a championship this season. But I believe game 5 will be intense since Celtics will not let Sixers win again so expect big adjustment to done since they are known for that.

Agree to that, Celtics will be doing the adjustments that they need to win game 5.

It's almost a win earlier if that last shot from Smart did make the cloak, but luckily he still holding the ball and the time runs out.
These semifinals are really making fans to love and support their favorite teams and players, with how they execute the plays and how
they putting the defense, something that needs to make a good adjustment for both competing teams.
